Rishi had woken up today, eager to get to work. Today she would be doing something fun, and it was something she would actually be able to do without getting bored. Today she would be doing another request, and this one would be rather interesting. She would be going to learn from a detective today, and from what she had seen in movies she had assumed it was going to be very fun. She loved watching those crime movies, and seeing the adventures that they went on all the time had made her want to do the same. Maybe this would happen today, and she would get to have lots of fun. She sat up, her grey hair looking perfect. She had hated this body at first, but now that she had gotten used to it she actually had been starting to like it. She was even cuter than she was before, and she had a small face that she was sure no one could resist. She rubbed her violet eyes and had slowly gotten up, getting around to her daily routine. It wasn't going to be the exact same anymore, seeing as she was different and she wouldn't be able to put on the same kind of clothes. To her surprise, her clothes had actually been better than she had before, and she actually had a variety of different clothes to choose from. Today she had been wearing what she had woken up wearing a few days ago, as it had been the best looking one out of them all and since it was clean it didn't hurt to wear it again. She finished up her daily routine and walked out the door, going to the place where she was told to be.

She walked down the streets of Orchidia, and everything had seemed so different. The sights, the air, the people. It had seemed a bit unimaginable for a second, having so many different places and people. This was the world though, and there were many more different places just like this one. She had walked into the coffee shop she was told to meet the detective at, and sure enough, he had been there sipping away at his coffee. She walked up to him and said, "Hi there. My name is Rishi, I believe I took a request involving a detective, that's you right?" she had been sure that this was him, but she wanted to see what he would say. He actually didn't say anything, and he had just examined her. She had found this quite awkward, but soon enough he had said, "Perfect! You are the person I will be teaching today!" Rishi had just slowly nodded. This guy had seemed like a bit of an oddball, but she needed a bit more proof to be sure. "Alright then, follow me and I'll show you how my work is done!" He said walking out the door. Rishi sighed. It was obviously going to be hard to keep up with this guy, and this might not be as fun as she had anticipated.

The man had told her that his name was Dex, and that he was one of the elite detectives. She had giggled a bit hearing this, and when he had asked what was funny she had said, "Oh uhm... I was just remembering something that had been really funny, sorry for interrupting you." She looked around, wondering where they were going. He had told her that his current case was investigating a murder, and he had been running around asking people off the street what they knew about it. They all were telling him that they had no idea what he was talking about, and that he needed to stop playing his little games like this all the time. This had helped Rishi prove herself right about this man being an oddball. It was okay though, as now that she had known this, she could understand the man. She was going to play into it and have some fun, as she wasn't planning to ruin this man's day, even if his cases weren't real. "Alright Detective Dex, what are your leads so far?" she asked. He had been rubbing his chin, looking like he was thinking very hard. "Well we have the murder weapon, and we have a few footprints to go off of so far," he had said, pointing to the place where he had the evidence. She wasn't sure how he saw things, as what she saw was a twig and some paw prints, but that was it. She knew that these paw prints weren't from Venus, as he had been on her shoulder mostly the whole time and his paw prints had been way smaller than the ones on the ground.

"Alright what's next?" she asked him. Venus had been looking around on Rishi's shoulder seeming clueless, and honestly, she had felt the same way. Now that she had known that this was all made up, she really didn't know what to say to keep it going. Well she didn't have to say much really, but for the small things that she was required to say, her mind had just gone blank. This was an odd day, and it was surprisingly fun. She gets to play pretend, and that's something she hadn't done in a long time. She was having fun right now, and that was all that mattered to her.

She had played a good detective's assistant for the rest of the day, and her and Venus had their share of laughs. This guy was crazy, and she had actually kind of liked it. She had never met anyone with such an imagination, and she had enjoyed her day. She hadn't had a chill day like this in a long time, and she hoped to have more in the near future. Dex had given Rishi the money she was owed and she walked away, Venus by her side. She would have more days like this for sure, but when exactly was unknown. She would just have to see where life took her tomorrow.
