ManaThe last thing Takumi would have thought when he woke up that morning was that some kid would rope him into singing for him in the middle of the square, but that was just how the day had turned out. The kid had heard him singing to himself as he wandered about, and had begged him to sing for him. He had resigned himself to it, and grudgingly agreed to sing. Unfortunately, all this had taken place in a very much public square, and now he was likely to make a fool of himself in front of a large crowd of people as they went about their days.
In his head, he mentally scrolled through a list of songs he could sing, before he broke out into song with his high, clear voice. The song wasn't loud, but it was clear, and slightly haunting, not particularly happy either. It wasn't his usual style, but it worked well enough anyhow. His eyes closed entirely as he sang, and a few people stopped to listen. The man had completely stopped thinking as he sang, his golden braid swaying behind him, and the kimono he was currently wearing seemingly floating around him as he started to sway to his own song. He didn't notice anything but his song, so absorbed was he.
