Two B rank quests were completed and now there was only one more left that was on the request board for Oak. He was already making his name known to the higher ups in Oak Town along with the underlings in the underworld. With time he would get to the A rank missions and the S rank mission in order to meet the bosses themselves. Then he would be able to get items and weapon and drugs from the underworld at a discounted price because of his connections. Caius was on his way to meet Remy Martello. He was going to the art gallery which he vised often cause he was a man of fine culture. Caius remembers the time where he went ot a gallery and he met Celeste and they were looking at a picture of a Frog and saw that it was weird they displayed such a strange piece. Then they were met with a man who was one of the leaders of Grimoire Heart and that was the man that was known as Icarus and he would use his sword and he would use that to slice off Celeste's finger and it would make a huge scene. They both had to leave the area before a bunch of questions were raised and they left so they could protect their identity. Hopefully when they went to this gallery it would be different that the time they went there and it turned into a god damn disaster. Caius would finally reach the gallery after walking for a few minutes.

Remy Martello was looking at some of the painting that was displayed on the walls while they waited for the auction. The painting was some lion that was a golden yellow and it was eating a deer that was covered in blood but the twist was in the painting it was all happening in space for some reaseon. Artists were defiantly really weird and he had no idea why he would paint something so crazy like that. I guess if it sold for a bunch of money then more power to them to fool people with dumb ideas such as the painting with the lion and the deer that was in space. Remy Martello was man of about average height and he also was a man that was giving the quest. He was wearing a black suit and he also was wearing a white shirt underneath the black suit and also he had a nice purple tie on and he also was wearing some long black pants and the shoes he was wearing was some type of brown leather. The point being was he was dressed really nice up and he was the guy giving out the quest. Caius would stand next to him and look at the weird paining with him and he would look at Remy. He would pull out a cigarette and then he would give one to Caius and he would take it and they would both smoke and look at the painting for a minute before they explained the mission.

As they finished their Ciggarettes, Remy Martello would go and throw it out and walk back to Caius. It was time to stop bullshitting and get down to business that was for the B rank request that was put on the board in Oak Town for the dark mages to take so they could get money and experience with the items in the underworld which is what Caius wanted to do because he was a dark mage that was in oak that wanted money and experience and more connections in the under world. Remy Martello would then go on to say that the reason they were here at this gallery was that the paintings were on the wall but they also had some paintings that they were going to auction off and not only that they were the good ones that were worth a lot of monies and then he would need them and could sell them and eh would be able to use them to get stuff like weapons and stuff like drugs and other stuff like women. They paintings that were worth a lot of money were the auction ones and they were held in the back of the gallery that Remy Martello and Caius were currently in right now in Oak Town on this fall afternoon and there was a bunch of people at the auction as well so it would be able to move through the crowd and it would be pretty easy. There was also going to be a bunch of other items that were going to be auctioned off but they didn't make that much money as they were cheap but the good news there was going to be a lot of them. In this case, the little cheap items would be auctioned off first and that way it would take a while for the big items to be auctioned off. Caius was concerned cause he didn't have that much money and he would have to bid on the painingts

Remy Martello would smile and he would say that Caius didn't have to bid on any of that shit as he already had a plan cause he went to the gallery all the time and he had the blueprints so he would know the ins and outs of this gallery owned by this guy named Geb. He informed Caius that everything for auction is being held in a backroom, with only the auction numbers attached to each item. He'll ask that you go into the back, switching some of the values of the most expensive pieces with those of the lowest. This was a way that he would maximize the protects from the auction and he would make a fortune from all the cheap items as well as the expensive items and he would make out like a bandit and make a shit ton of money with this easy task. He would reach in his pocket and then he would pull out a catalog and then he would give it to Caius and then he would tell him the items were listed there and then he would tell him about the secret area in the back where he can go and then he would go there and then he could start the mission by doing the auction switching

The auction was about to start so Remy Martello would go and he would go to the auction room with the rest of the rich people that liked to collect art and buy a bunch of stuff that was on sale. In the meantime, Caius would have the blueprints and he would be able to go into the back room and then he would be able to get the auction items like the paintings and the statues and then he would be able to switch the prices so Remy Martello would be able to buy the expensive ones at the cheap price and then he would make out like a bandit and the rest of the people at the auction would get screwed over thinking the junk was super expensive. Caius was no in the back room and there was a few minutes before the auction would start so Caius would go and he would see the guards that were in the back room and they were standing back there. IT was only 3 guards so it wasn't too bad but now he would have to think of a way to get past them and he couldn't beat them up cause then if there was no guards people would get the suspicious and then they would cancel the auction and Remy Martello wouldn't get the money For now Caius would sit back and he would wait and he would then see the guards pattern to see how they did things because he would have to sneak into the warehouse and after he did that he would be able to get in the back where he had to do the mission and change all the paintings. Caius saw one of the guards would go north to south and then he would go down the hallway and he would be out of site. The other two guards were just the normal guards and they were the guards that would just sit at the door and then Caius would see that the guards would be easily distracted by what was going on. He would wait for the patrolling guard to be gone and then he would go and he would throw a painting off the wall and the other guards saw it and they would abandon the door. Caius would then go and he would make sure to sneak in and then he would be in the auction room.

In the auction room was a bunch of boxes with the paintings and the statues. Now it was the time to look at the catalog that Remy Martello had gave him. He would take it out of his pocket and then he would see that it had way more items that he saw in the catalog so it looked like Caius would have to improvise and then he would tag what he could as the expensive items and tag the low items so Remy Martello would be able to make bank from the options Caius would start off by opening up all the boxes that weren't already opened and lucky for him they were at least in alphabetical order and then he would go up and down and make sure to get all the tags. Now he would just have to switch the tags and the whole quest would be good to go.

Going through the catalog, Caius would see the expensive items were mostly at the front. He would then take the tags that were for all the cheap items and then he would sort them out so he had the cheapest on top of the price tag pile and then he would go and he would take the cheap price tags and then he would attach them to the expensive items and then he would keep on doing that until all the expensive items were marked and then he would be done with that. Now the next part of the job that he had to do was take all the expensive tags and then eh would take all the expensive tags and he would then go and he would take those expensive tags and he would attach it to the cheap items so that way the expensive items and the cheap items were switched. As for the items that weren't listed in the catalog that the man gave him when he started the quest that was earlier in the day, Caius would use his own judgement on the items that were in the boxes. The big items and the cool looking items and the ones that were in gold would be more expensive for sure compared to the small and wood items that were in the other boxes. They would the same price he thought. If they weren't then he could always do this again for the man but he would need an upgraded catalog instead of the out of date one that he got.

Suddenly, Caius would hear the door open up and then the two guards from earlier would walk in and then they would look around with flashlights. With them was a bald man and he was wearing a suit and he was having a giant curly mustache and black top hat. He said that he was looking for a painting that they had to take out and they would take that paining and then they would use that painting and then they would display it and start the bidding. Luckily for him, the room was covered up in a bunch of boxes from all the auction stuff so Caius would hide behind the crates and then he would wait for the bald man and then he would find the paining after a few minutes of searching and then he would grab the painting and then after that he would exit and the guards would take one last look and then they would close the door and then they would head back outside to guard the door. Caius would then step out of the shadows and then he would get the catalog out of his pocket and then he would look through the items again and then he would make sure the cheap items were marked as expensive and the expensive items were marked as cheap. There were a lot of them so he wanted to make sure. The more money his client made the more money he would make for doing this dark quest.

Caius had switched most of the tags by now. He had double checked them and made sure the cheap tags and the pricey tags were now all the way switched around. Caius would now try to sneak out of the back room because he was done with this quest. It was now a matter of time for the man that hired him to buy all the items at the auction and then once he did that they both would get paid a bunch of jewels. As he tried to head out, the guards and then the bald man that was in there before would walk in. Caius would try to head behind the crates with all the auction gear but unfortunately he would trip and would fall and that would attract the attention of the guards and the bald man that was the guy who did the auction. Caius was busted as they walked over to him and would shine the flashlights on him. He really hoped that he wouldn't have to kill these fools because if he did kill these fools then that meant that he wouldn't get paid and he had already been through so much shit that he would have to make something happen. HE would fall back into his stupid persona which was named "Varian" and he would then play it like he was just a lost idiot.

He told the guards and the man that ran the auction that he had gotten lost and ended up in here. He would explain that he drank a bunch of the fancy ass wine at the auction and that he needed to pee really bad and then he would have to find the restroom but he was a little tipsy and that's the reason that he fell over. The men understood but they were still suspicious so they would inspect him and see he didn't steal anything so then they would take the guards and they would escort him so he would then reach the restroom and he wouldn't get "lost" again. Caius would go to the bathroom and then he would pee what he had in his tank and then he would exit and then the guards would then escort him to the auction room. The auction kept going on and on for hours but the man that was his client was buying all the cheap stuff which was their plan. Finally after a few hours then the auction was over and it was done. Remy was one of the first people to leave that auction and he would find Caius cause he was a big man and he would stand out over the big crowd. Remy would give him the jewels that were left over from the auction and told him that he had gotten all the pieces that were expensive and then he would tell him that he wanted him to work for him again if there was another auction. Caius you only wanted the money and he would take that and lives. He didn't have to be in this gallery anymore and he could go out and then he could go and complete his training so he could get stronger for the guilds sake.
