It isn't anything big that makes his appearance so unique, nothing that really makes him appear any less Human- except his eyes. His eyes are a golden color, like a hawk's eyes; bright and slightly unnerving. The rest of his appearance can be described as eccentric, to say the least. Azreal hates wearing shirts, and often wanders around without one on, regardless of weather. On his back is a tattoo of a pair of wings, white in coloration and so realistic they almost look as if you can reach out and touch the real thing. His skin tone is fairly pale, though his skin is crossed with some old scars from old fights. His body itself is fairly toned, though not incredibly muscular. Extra: Aforementioned wing tattoo on his back. Personality Personality: Azreal is a fairly kind and considerate person. He doesn't like to hurt people, and he doesn't like the people around him getting hurt. He hates seeing people getting hurt in general, really, no matter who they are. As somebody who has been pushed into the role of a leader his whole life, he will always try to take responsibility if a comrade or anybody else close to him gets injured. He is the kind of person who leads through example, and anything that goes wrong he blames on himself. Azreal is also the type of person who cares deeply for his two siblings, Kira and Sanvi. As the eldest, he has been taking care of them for a very long time, and will continue to do so. He is highly protective of all the people he cares about, but his siblings most of all, because he's all they have. Azreal also has a secret: he's gay. He doesn't like to spread it around because he's afraid people won't accept it, not even his siblings are aware. Though, he vowed to come out of the closet about it if he ever met the right guy, because he does still want to be happy and have a nice relationship with a guy he cares about. In reality, fear makes him keep it a secret. He just can't let himself tell anybody else about it, really. It isn't that he's ashamed, or embarrassed, just scared of what people will think. Azreal isn't really the type to follow orders, and often takes the dominant role in any of his relationships. Azreal enjoys trying new foods, and all kinds of new things. He loves to cook, and create new dishes, anything new. The same dishes all the time get boring, at least to him, so creating something new is something he likes doing. However, he hates it when food is bland, plain, boring. The same old thing over and over. He hates that because he simply doesn't like being bored. Magic Magic Name: 死の使者(Shi no shisha), The Messanger Of Death Magic Element: Non-elemental Magic Description: "You can't move. Can't think. Can't breathe, for fear he will find you. You are paralyzed, unable to move. Or so you think. But in reality, it is his spell keeping you from escape." The Messanger Of Death, despite the name, is not exactly what is first appears to be. The name indicates it causes death, or predicts death, but this is not the case at all. This magic actually helps the user to play on fear in general (will not scare everyone), by using debuffs to make it seem almost nightmarish, like you can't escape, and Supplementary spells, to make it appear as if the user is a reaper of death come to steal your soul. It does this in small ways, such as flight spells, or walking on surfaces that should seem impossible to walk on, while the user may be using a spell to decrease your own speed or strength. But these are no mere illusions, because they are real, they just make it seem more scary for the intended target. The name of the magic itself was coined from the name of Azreal, it's current user. Azreal is the name of an archangel, an angelic Messanger of death, or so the story goes. It was also jokingly coined from Azreal's wing tattoo, as if the magic made him seem like an avenging angel come for your soul, which in some ways might be the case, him seeming that way. In reality, of course, it's just a simple debuff/supplementary type magic. The user may use supplementary and debuff spells with this magic. History History: Azreal's history is really nothing particularly special. He grew up without parents, and, being the eldest, the responsibility for his siblings fell to him. He was all they had, so he did his duty without complaint, always finding ways to ensure the health and happiness of his two siblings. He worked odd jobs, learned to cook and clean, anything he felt would help his siblings. He didn't want them to get taken away and separated, so he did everything he could to help. By the time he had reached the age of 16, both of his siblings thought of him as a hero, somebody who could do no wrong. But he was discovering his sexuality then. He didn't want to disappoint his siblings, so he never told a soul his true preference, not wanting to shatter the illusion that he was the perfect brother. In some ways, he was the perfect brother. But the secret eating away at him prevented him from truly being a perfect brother. Now he is 18, and still holding on to that illusion of perfection. He still cooks and cleans and does the housework, works odd jobs, anything he can think of to make him seem perfect. He still likes men in secret, and dreams of one day finding the perfect man. But he knows, deep down, that this is just an illusion, that nothing is actually perfect. Yet still he clings, and will continue to cling, to the illusion that nothing could possibly be wrong in his life. Reference: N/A |
