She prefers the looser clothing so her movement is not restricted when she fights. Her long pink hair is most often done in a messy ponytail, but she will put it up and make it look nice for special occasions. She always wears shorts, viewing them as more comfortable even in a non combat situation. Her robe is fastened in the middle by a rather large, red bow just because it looks pretty. The symbols on her collar belong to fighting force she was with in her youth and even though she is no longer with them, she carries their strength with her everywhere. Extra: N/A Personality Personality: Krista is the most outgoing gal around. She is constantly looking to get stronger, either for the sake of getting stronger or for protecting those who can't protect themselves. No matter what she does, she always gives it 110% whether it's a fight or personal matter. This often serves to be a problem in relationships, because while she sees it as giving herself completely to her partner in every possible way, the other person often sees it as clingy and overbearing. Being raised by military, a strong sense of justice and righteousness was instilled in her very early in life. This is evident by her going out of her way to punish the smallest of crimes. She is willing to forgive such cases as stealing food because one has no way to eat, but beyond that she deals swift punishment to those who break the law and harm others. Some have called her cruel in the past because she believes in the punishment fitting the crime, something that was quite looked down upon back home; the mindset being that simple jail time is the answer to everything. Magic Magic Name: Ki Manipulation Magic Element: Non-elemental Magic Description: An ancient order of martial artists perfected a way to use ki, the natural energy found in all living things, as a weapon. The user is able to channel their ki and focus into blasts, beams, and other projectiles that can take on any color or shape the user desires. The user is also able to use their ki for supplementary effects such as flight, but that can only be achieved by true masters of the craft. Lastly, the user can focus their ki into their limbs and enhance their strength and speed to inhuman levels. History History: Krista was born to two military officials in a distant country to the far west of Fiore. Around the time, there was a gang of thugs that plagued villages wherever they went. Guilty of countless cases of theft, murder, and vandalism; most of the country lived in fear that the gang would visit their homes next. Because of this, her parents were gone from the house most of the time in an attempt to apprehend the criminals. This resulted in Krista learning to take care of herself from quite a young age. During most of her childhood, she taught herself to cook, clean, and defend herself. She would keep her house and immediate neighborhood protected from random street thugs by the time she was 10 years old, and eventually was known as the Tiny Defender. When she reached her teenage years, she learned that her parents were killed during a raid on the gang's headquarters. This sparked a rage in her that would not be quenched until she could say with confidence that she had eliminated every trace of evil from the world. In coping from the stress of being orphaned, she would often visit a nearby church and consult a priest who helped her grow in the absence of her parents. Little did he know, he would instill a sense of righteous justice in Krista the likes of which no one had ever seen. "Destroy all that which is evil, so that which is good may flourish." This was the motto that Krista came to adopt after seeking guidance from the church. This would spurn her forward in her endeavors, the first of which being to eliminate the gang that killed her family. By the time she reached her early twenties, Krista successfully defeated the gang that had plagued her country, earning her a glowing recommendation when applying to join the armed forces. Throughout her training, her commanding officers were all impressed with Krista's gusto and fervor as she tackled each task with unrelenting confidence and unwavering determination. She quickly rose through the ranks and earned the title of Captain in record time, being granted the right to lead her own platoon at the age of 24, something that normally wasn't achievable until one was in their mid thirties. On the eve of her 25th birthday, Krista received orders to take a small squad to some nearby mountains and clear out a bandit camp that was causing some problems for a small village to the south of her home town. It was this night that her life would be changed forever, as when she arrived she didn't find any camp, bandits or otherwise. Instead, what she found was an ambush. A colleague from her barracks had always been jealous that Krista had risen through the ranks so quickly and surpassed her, stealing what she had wanted so badly: recognition. It was here that he would exact his revenge as Krista was shot with a dart that caused her body to be fully immobilized while she watched in horror as he butchered her entire squad. When all of her subordinates were dead, he turned his attention towards Krista and proclaimed his plan in true super villain fashion. He told her that he was going to bring her back to the leader of the entire military and turn her in as a traitor. As extra proof, he had taken precautions to ensure that his plan came to fruition and Krista would be imprisoned for the rest of her life, if she wasn't executed on sight. She knew she had to think quickly to escape the Grim Reaper, as her mission was not complete yet. Finding the strength to move, she found the poison was starting to wear off as he spoke. In his haste, he had not dosed the dart with a sufficient amount of poison to immobilize her for long, and that was her window of opportunity. Having been completely disarmed, she felt she had no use but to use her last resort. In her down time, she studied an ancient form of martial arts that projected her life force and sheer will power as blasts of pure energy. She felt the rage begin to grow as she leaped forward and blasted the murderer with her energy, making a hole in his chest as he collapsed coughing up blood. "It's no use. You'll still be branded a traitor, and now you can't do anything about it. I left a message at the barracks, saying that if I didn't come back, you were responsible. You killed me along with the rest of your squad, and now you'll definitely be executed like the dog that you are." Those were his final words as his life escaped him, and Krista knew that he was right. There was only one thing to do now, and that was to run. The closest country was Fiore, and that would have to be a start. She would likely have to start a new life, as she was officially a traitor to her homeland, whether it was true or not. History is written by the victors after all, and this time, Krista lost. The next day, Krista had bargained passage to Fiore from a nearby ferry, in exchange for spending the night with the captain of the boat. She was willing to do whatever needed to be done to achieve her goal, and that was all it took. Gods know it was the best night of his life, though. But as she made her way to her new home and her new life, she attempted to formulate a plan. All she could do was to join the military of the new country. Maybe one day, she would be able to come back and right the words that were committed against her, but that day was in the far future, if in her lifetime at all. Reference: N/A |
