Overall: Tom is a bit on the short side and is somewhat frail in terms of his build, but not enough to hinder his physical performance. He has long blonde hair and blue eyes that sparkle as if they were jewels. He likes to wear formal or semi-formal wear most of the time, believing that one should always dress to impress.

Personality

Personality: Tom is a cool and calm individual who likes to trick and deceive people for fun and gain. He often puts on acts to make people trust him, when really, the only one he can trust is himself. That being said, the guy likes to have fun every once in a while. His hobbies include sporting activities and plays at the theater.

In a conversation, Tom will do one of two things: act a certain way to manipulate a person, or just be himself - a sarcastic and moody individual. Tom is a bit of a self-control master, being able to resist (most_ of his urges for a long period of time. That being said, anything that involves money will break this and cause Tom to only focus on that.

Tom has his weaknesses as well. As much as he manipulates other people, he gets lonely sometimes. In this state, he may actually try to find a friend - that being said, once he starts feeling himself once more he'll completely forget about them.

Likes:

Money: Money is a big draw to Tom, having grown up as a conman. He believes that money can make the world go round, and for the most part, he's right.
Fiction: Plays and books are some of Tom's favorite past-times. He prefers mystery and thriller books, as he likes to be on the edge of his seat in excitement and anticipation, and be left on his toes.

Dislikes:

Swimming: Tom doesn't like the water. He's not scared of it or anything, but he would never go to a beach unless he had to. He doesn't like the cold temperature.
Clingy: Tom dislikes annoying people that are too talkative or clingy. He very much likes his space, and can't stand people that don't respect that.

Motivations:

Rich: Tom's motivation is simple enough. He wants to make as much money as he can so he can acquire anything he wants, without the need of using people around him anymore. He wants to be self-dependent in a sense that way.

Fears:

Snakes: Due to some past childhood experiences involving a certain mountain he used to climb, Tom is frightened at the sight of snakes.
Claustrophobia: Thanks to his adoptive father's punishments, Tom is scared of being in tight spaces.

They can utilize offensive attacks by whipping the chains, as well supplementary uses. In addition, they are able to perform self-buff speed spells. The user can make various types of chains (spiked chains, ball chains) for different uses.

History

History:

Tom was born in a simple family, with a brother and sister who he can't quite remember too well. That being said, he was put up for adoption due to his parents only having enough money to afford two children. As the youngest, Tom had to be given up.

Tom didn't stay an orphan for long, only a few months, as he was soon picked up by a family of dark mages. Here he was raised in the way of thievery and deceit, specifically the ways of a con-man. And thus, Tom's sense of greed grew to exponential levels.

Eventually Tom's adopted family got arrested, but thanks to some sneakiness, Tom was able to get himself out without spending time behind bars. He went back to his orphanage to ask about his true parents, simply so he could change his name to avoid detection. From there, he managed to make his way into a guild that was just as sneaky, cunning and dirty as him - Grimoire Heart.
