Theseus' Escape [Event] Empty Fri Mar 24, 2017 2:57 pm

Nastasya Crowe ✝
Nastasya was waiting for the last sign or well her sign. She looked at the line of the horizon which was showing a sign of light. Which she didn’t like but it would take quite some time before the sun would be up. She looked at the streets because her sight was perfect in the night. They had to spot the carriage with the guy that they needed to free. There was only one carriage going around the streets and it had just passed her, she waved at Odin and the guy from Phantom Lord she came to know as North. With a quick and silent thread she ran to the carriage and jumped on top of it. There were no nights but she had noticed the guy in fulfilled the description of Icarus. There was one merchant that she simply knocked off with a hit on the head with her foot, she let her fall down on the driver’s seat and stopped the horses by simply destroying that part of the carriage, so they ran off, okay not her best move but hey the carriage was theirs. She turned to look at Odin and North.

Odin †

Now it was time to act, no longer would Odin wait in the shadows or hide under the guise of a bar owner while taking jobs on the side. This time, Grimoire Heart were going to strike, and it was certainly going to be an interesting day. The briefing had been simple enough, four different attacks happening simultaneously, each one as integral to the strategy as the last, and with Odin’s being arguably one of the more important of the four. It seemed Icarus had an ally that was being transported through Era on the day of attack, a man named Theseus, who had been imprisoned for longer than Grimoire Heart had even been around. His crimes were not of any great importance on this day, however, as Odin’s task was to free him, as well as give him a message from Icarus, something that would help him regain his senses and, more importantly, his power, a power that Grimoire Heart could use. On this mission, Odin would be partnered with Nastasya, a grouping he was expecting due to their past. On top of that though, Odin was also working with a man known as North, from the Phantom Lord guild. For the missions that were to take place in Era today, Crowley had requested that Grimoire Heart worked with the other dark guild In Fiore: Phantom Lord. Icarus had made it so, and created the teams, putting the best people to their tasks.

Theseus was being transported through one of the long streets of Era on that day, being pulled in a wagon by what looked like a civilian. Perhaps the Rune Knights were too busy with other things to have a guard patrol, or perhaps they just wanted the public to think Theseus was not as powerful as he truly was. Whatever their reasons, it was their folly, as no guards were present save for the rider, a simple man with no combat capabilities, no doubt just someone hired for the job as opposed to any of great importance. Because of this, it was very easy for Nastasya to make her first move, jumping onto the carriage using the silent abilities that being a vampire gave her. She knocked the driver off the carriage, and watched as he fell under the horses’ hooves. He was unconscious, and was probably going to need some serious medical attention from the injuries he sustained. After this, Nastasya broke the connection between the horses and the wagon, allowing the horses to dash ahead, and leaving Nastasya on top of the carriage. Now all they had to do was wait, and in a few minutes time they would be able to release the awesome power that Theseus apparently possessed, Odin was excited to see it for himself. From his position, Odin could see all around the area of the carriage, as well as where Nastasya, Victoire -who had changed in appearance and probably strength as well-, and North were. The wide, open street left it very difficult for a counter attack to be made, but a small part of Odin wanted someone to try. It would make the day all the more fun.

Nastasya stood on the top of the carriage and looked around her. North was still in the shadows of the dark and she looked at the full moon that was now covered by a cloud, making it so that there wasn't much light to see by. But for a vampire like her it didn't really matter. It wasn't much later than 3 AM and Nastasya felt wide awake. She looked at Odin coming closer and Victoire, her ninetails now, run towards her. She jumped off the carriage and slightly went through her knees to not break any bones.

She turned her back towards the rest of the street, considering Odin would watch the street she was save. She needed to open the carriage door and looked at a tall man with blue hair and oranged coloured eyes. He wasn't really kind to her, "Get out, please." She tried to say it kindly because she didn't want to have this ridiculousness around her. Mostly she didn't plan to tell him that she was supporting him or getting him out in the name of Icarus. She still was a careful Grimoire Heart mage afterall. Theseus didn't even complain, apparently waiting to get out of the carriage and so she stepped aside to let him out.

However he immediately went to sit on the ground doing nothing. She stared at him in surprise and looked at Odin and shrugged. Victoire went to sit next to her and didn't seem to understand the man in general but she didn't mind him. Nastasya jumped back onto the wagon to be a look out because her eyes worked the best in this darkness.

Nastasya stood on the horse drawn carriage, or well the carriage since the horses were already gone. She crossed her right leg over her left and leaned on it with her elbow and her head in her hand. She sighed loudly, "Now what?" she said as she turned to look at Odin. They had gotten Theseus out of the carriage but he refused to go anywhere or so it seemed. He went to sit down and do nothing. It wasn't as if she had a lacrima with her to speed dial Icarus. She got a line to tell Theseus, Icarus had trusted her with that but she would only have to use it at a specific time and in a specific situation and that situation wasn't now. So that made this rather boring for a job. She was quite awake in the night and her eyes kept looking up and down the street to make sure no one was coming their way. She should remain standing but there was still another guy that was keeping an eye on the situation.

Ace Brookes

Ace strolled around the undisturbed streets of Era. One hand in his left pocket, the other exposed waving around his side in the chilly Era air. The sky was clear only sporting a few wisps of white cloud that made it effortless to spot the distant stars. They hung of the side of the horizon leaving the beaming moon lingering in the open sky. It's gleam elegantly lit up the soundless streets. Nothing but the gentle tapping of the young twelve year old's footsteps echoed as he wandered aimlessly. He wondered if he should have acted earlier knowing that there was a carriage hosting a notorious man on his way to getting beheaded. He was well aware why the Rune Knights hadn't sent anyone with the carriage but his own thoughts contradicted those of his superiors. What if the rumors he'd heard at headquarters were true? Wasn't someone supposed to at least check?

He wasn't able to fight off his own thoughts any longer. The gas mage froze in the middle of the street. His feet planted down, his body stiff unable to move; not wanting to move. The cold breeze continued to blow over his dark skin as it bathed in the moonlight.

"You'll go check just in case... If you draw anyone to it, then you'll just take care of them and it'll keep going as planned..."

He talked to himself quietly. Trying to convince himself that this was the safer option. Sending no guards on the carriage was a bold move, smart as well, but who was to guarantee that the word won't spread. The beheading was meant to take place around four in the morning. It was a little over three at the moment and if the gas mage was to anticipate where the carriage would be then he'd have to take an educated guess saying somewhere around the middle of it's route. He had to act quick.

Ace dug his way through shortcuts in attempt to catch up with the carriage. By the time he arrived to the meeting point there was no one there. He gave his calculation a leeway of about ten minutes for any delays or assumptions he'd made. He sat there silent as the night was behind a tree. Every minute that passed by felt way longer than it should and the more he got paranoid. Again getting mixed thoughts he tried to convince himself that it was just a normal delay and rule out any side options. Being much brighter than his peers, he was confident of his calculation and it shouldn't really take the ten minutes he'd given it. Calming himself down once again he decided to walk back the way to meet up with the carriage. The more the gas mage walked the more he felt something was off. The more it got him worried as well. He was nothing but an apprentice for the Rune Knights, yet again sure of his abilities, there was nothing an apprentice couldn't do.

His eyes glistened with anticipation as he neared the carriage. His eyebrows pointed down on his face as usual giving off intimidating vibes. With every step the afroed boy grew more and more cautious until he finally caught a glimpse of it. He was devastated by the sight of the broken down carriage. Dead silence broke out for a quick second and was immediately replaced with a constant ringing. His head tilted slightly to the left minding his huge afro. He analyzed the situation with the corner of his left eye. The man was on his knees, cuffed up, showing absolutely no expressions with his eyes buried in the ground. Atop the carriage was a slim woman with wine red hair flowing down over her shoulders. A mischievous look tainted her face matched with piercing red eyes. Her pale skin dimly reflected the moonlight into Ace's dark eyes. He was frightened yet enraged. The rage that burned through his head greatly overcame the fear of death. However the woman, wasn't making it easy for Ace to step out either. His vision was fixed on her red blood eyes, slowly analyzing every move she made. Ace's eyes darted further to the left where she was looking. There was another person there hiding behind the bushes... Ace's expression showed disgust and fury. A weird mix of emotions but it was well fixed around rage. His eyes pointed back at the laid back woman. All his morals were thrown aside as he rattled behind the tree. His ignorance would be the death of him. His jaw clenched tightly as he stepped out from behind the tree, not breaking eye contact with the woman. If anyone was to take a closer look then they'd easily be able to see his bold white Rune Knight insignia on his left ear lobe. The white color was in contrast with his dark chocolatey skin and glowed off under the moon. That was to say enough about him opposing the group if the vibes given off from his serious face weren't enough.

The gas mage sniffled loudly and said "You're better off leaving while you still can". Being about twelve meters from the woman and a bit more from the man in the bushes. He was bold and straightforward, able to hold back his anger. A wise young man that preferred solving his problems peacefully. He'd give the couple a chance to explain themselves before taking further action, although he was certain it wasn't going to end well. He was outnumbered at the moment and could only hope someone else thought the same way he did.

The cool air found it's way through his oversized afro causing it to flutter lightly. He kept his guard up and made sure the man in the bushes went nowhere either.

Odin †

From his vantage point, in a bush nearby to the carriage, Odin could see the entire street, including Nastasya, who stood in the middle, on the carriage itself, which gave her a chance to see much of the area too. Victoire was with her too, standing proudly, ready to fight should the need arise, as Odin's guild partner turned to him and spoke, asking what would happen next. In the early hours of the morning, no one was awake, and Era was effectively silent, allowing the voice of Nastasya to reach Odin's ears quite easily from his position. After she spoke, Odin moved to the nearby rooftops to get a better view of any threats coming their way. They were both bored, Odin and Nastasya, that much was clear. Yes it was an important mission, and yes Theseus was -supposedly- a very powerful ally they could use, but this mission was proving to be extremely dull so far, as no one had come to check on the carriage or moved to do anything, not even a roaming Rune Knight patrol discovering the wreckage, it was almost upsetting to the olive haired dark mage, who had wanted to see some kind of action. It seemed his prayer were soon to be answered.

Odin had journeyed from the ground to the roof of the nearest building in a short space of time, and from his new position, it would be hard to see him in the darkness. Nastasya had the bonus of perfect vision in darkness as she looked to where Odin was, as she occasionally did to pass the time, and probably make sure he was there. Then something changed, and Odin started to move, as he noticed movement from one end of the street: the way the carriage should have gone had it not been hijacked. Moving low and almost silent in the shadows, Odin moved around to just behind the man, still on the buildings to his right, but only a few rooftops behind where the boy, who looked too young to actually be a fighter, hid behind a tree for a few moments.  The boy may have known where both Odin and Nastasya were, but he would only be able to focus on one of them, unless he had eyes on the back of his head. After that, the boy went over to Nastasya's position, before speaking to her from a fair distance away, requiring a volume that allowed Odin to hear his words. It was almost cute that he was politely asking for them both, or Nastasya since he was only looking at her, to leave before he did anything. Odin was curious to see what the boy would do, so he simply waited on the rooftops, far enough out of reach of the man, but close enough to hear whatever would happen. The man may have been aware of Odin's location, but his attention was on his partner, and Odin was content you wait and see what would happen.

Nastasya had noticed where Odin was, she wasn't worried that he was far away, she didn't know the distance exactly. Her attention was quickly pulled to some movement, because there was someone, her eyes clearly seeing in the night made her wonder if finally someone came to stop them. However she didn't get up from the carriage top and simply stared at the place, she noticed, she felt that eyes were glaring up on her. She was sure not to look at Odin at this moment because she didn't want to give his position away. She simply stared with her red eyes at the boy. He couldn't be more than a child. She took a deep breath and listen to him talk, she first bit her lip, showing her fangs but she couldn't help but laugh and she jumped off the carriage. She now stood next to Theseus who still sat crosslegged on the ground and didn't even look up, on her left hand was Victoire, looking at where her owner was looking, "Oh hear this, he knows how to play," her sharp eyes could see the rune knight symbol, did they really sink that low to send a child, "This itty, bitty little child is here to stop me. Oh I'm shaking in fear." She was aware that she was taunting him but she couldn't care less at this moment.

Odin †

Whether the boy was stunned by Nastasya's appearance or just too scared to run, Odin didn't really care, as he decided to make the first move. He had wanted to wait until the opponent acted so as to give him a chance to run away first, but it seemed that the boy before him, whoever he was, just wanted to face the power of Grimoire Heart. Poor kid. Atop the building, still a few rooftops away from the opponent, Odin activated his TakeOver form, becoming the demon, while remaining silent where he stood. The man had an idea of where Odin stood, and he was facing Nastasya, so there was no way that he would be able to see where Lucifer was going next. And if he were to turn around and look for the demon, then he would be left  at the whim of the opponent already in front of him: Nastasya.

Now that the demon had been released, it was time to act and Lucifer did not plan on wasting any time, flexing his wings before flying into the air, managing to hit the same speeds that he was capable of attaining on land. Flying straight behind the boy, moving in a straight line from where he had been previously, Lucifer now found himself at a distance of ten metres away from the boy (six metres horizontally and eight metres high). From this position, the demon would waste no time in placing one hand in front of himself, palm up, facing the boy, while the other pointed in the same way but in the opposite direction. From the hand the faced his opponent, Lucifer sent a stream of fire. This would probably be the first instance of noise that the boy heard from Lucifer in the entire time, but it was unlikely that he'd be able to turn around, see the threat, and react in time, especially since Lucifer was on the other side than he had previously been.

Houren Vanadis
"Run. Run towards her."

It wasn't because of a miracle or intricate calculations that Houren found himself here, in the midst of what seemed to be a merchant carriage hijacking; rather, it was more appropriate to attribute his presence to pure chance coupled with the man's inability to leave someone in distress alone. Lady Luck seemed to be smiling on the Fairy Tail mage tonight, as the time needed for the villainous Takeover mage to travel from his original point behind the bushes to the rooftops behind the boy's back gave Houren ample time to enter the scene undetected; his presence seemed to go unnoticed to the woman too, but whether it was because she had simply disregarded him as a threat or because she was too engrossed in talking to the young boy he did not know. Houren's back was against a tree, his frame was shrouded in darkness, and due to the boy currently being occupied with the woman, it was likely that the runt sized Rune Knight wouldn't have known he was there either. He directed his gaze sideways, taking in the voice of the woman he could not see and the form of the young boy who he had intended to help. However, upon returning the direction of his stare to their default state, Houren noticed something in the air, much too large and humanoid to be a bird, and the way that he was flying straight at them didn't seem to suggest he was a friend either.

It was a cowardly move on their part, but then again, the Fairy Tail mage wasn't under any delusion that he was dealing with honorable people. The boy's back was turned to the attacking mage, and because he was a Rune Knight as evidenced by his emblem, Houren had little doubt that the kid would realize sooner or later that he was being targeted, but Hell would freeze over before Houren would begin to rely on the reflexes of a pubescent child. Fortunately for him though, Houren would have his back on this occasion, firstly because of the aforementioned reasoning that he could never leave a person in distress alone and secondly because the flames that were being sent their way looked incredibly tasty in the eyes of the Fire Dragon Slayer. Saying the words mentioned above in a clear and concise manner, Houren opened his mouth and began to consume the flames, making it a priority to at least make sure none of them would reach the boy before he was out of the danger zone.

Once the young Rune Knight was clear, Houren turned around to face the woman, making full use of his full immunity to fire and ignoring the Takeover mage's blast. He did not close his mouth though, as he targeted the woman (and the man sitting down close to her) and let loose his own fire attack, with the intention of burning her fair skin to a crisp; a shame, but necessary.

He thought she didn't see him but she did. Her vampire eyes were fully aware of him and she whispered very quiet so only Victoire would hear her about him.

While he made a way for Odin his flames, she took a dash to make the distance of twelve meter up to five and used her Flawless spell. The blood Helix spell to hit him with because he was busy consuming. Victoire was in her way to the child to hit him with one of her frost spells remaining on Nastasya her right sidr. Again five meters away from the two that were in their way.

'Don't be afraid'

Post #8-10 has been called into question by Houren Vanadis.  A Red Card has been pulled on Nastasya Crowe.

1. Due to DS rules, Houren does ignore Odin's blast due to being immune to base fire magic. TO doesn't have extra elements tagged on so ya.

2. Nastasya Crow, ya made a attack dependent on wounds. No where in your current post did you make a wound or preexisting wound. Nowhere is that stated. Your Blood spell used is nulled. You have to do the actions your spell states to fullfil the needs to cast it.

3. Your dashing speed is 11-30 Points (6 m/s Dash / 15 m/s Run) due to your current stats so you are at 6 meters not 5 meters away.

4. Now, Houren, with the time it took  aka

There is sufficient enough time to do simple stuff/dash away >mutter words, eat, ignore spell, fire spell. Now cause Natasya made no effort to properly dodge or draw attention to your actions it has gone ignored and you can make your hit call next post. Other bad guys still need to make their post of course. As far as if she is knocked out, B rank vs 10 END.

Posting will now resume from this point and 24hrs has been started from when I posted

Ace Brookes

From where he'd been standing the gas mage was now facing the crimson eyed girl with his back to the man climbing atop the roof of a building. Ace was at a disadvantage but that was non of his concern at the moment. He was infuriated with what he'd just seen. Blinded by anger, the young apprentice stood there with his eyes pinned to the woman in front of him. He listened to the woman's bitter remark about how a 'little boy was here to stop them'. Ace had no intentions of replying to her remark and much preferred to thrust his knuckles onto her face to wipe off that irritating grim. His recklessness would be the death of him.

In a moment's notice he heard the flapping of wings behind his back. It echoed in the mage's ears but meant nothing to him till he heard a man call out from his right. He boldly told the young mage to run towards Nastasya. Ace'a head tilted out of instinct and barely caught a glimpse of a tall man with grey strands of hair flowing down his shoulders. Ace didn't hesitate as he dashed towards the girl at an angle in attempt to avoid whatever the man warned him about. Why did he trust him, or then again, why did the man sound sincere... Ace was around six meters from Nastasya and looked back over his left shoulder only to see his first sighting of a dragon slayer. It was just as astonishing as he heard the legends describe it. The grey haired dragon slayer gobbled up the scorching flames in a mere instant as he seemed to prep his next attack. It was like something out the fairy tales. The gas mage was just feet away from the shower of flames, thankfully to the man who warned him. Ace wasn't about to let the man take all the credit though as he was well capable of carrying his own weight; or at least he hoped. Just as Ace turned back to target the woman, his grey haired 'ally' fired a razing ball of hell that stormed just inches past the boy's left shoulder. It engulfed both her and the pure creature that stood quarter of a meter next to her. Their wounds weren't visible yet due to the rush of smog and flames, but Houren's attack mostly caught Nastasya's exposed skin, including her whole face. Ace wasn't aware of where their injuries were but hoped to add to Houren's damage.

Ace wasn't about to miss his window as he kept charging towards the pale skinned woman. The red hot fire was just barely dispersing into the thick white smoke that replaced it. The young gas mage was about four meters away from his target by now as he whipped his hand up casting a corrosive layer of chlorine beneath him. It traveled towards the smokey haze where the girl was and erupted upwards with a flick of Ace's wrist. The meter of an eruption formed would swallow up both the girl and the fox-like companion targeting their open wounds and adding burning damage to the exposed flesh. He wasn't planning on stopping there anyways and quickly followed up his own attack with a jump towards Nastasya. His tight clenched fist ready to ram through her burnt face. He anticipated it would be hard for her to see it coming with all the burning damage she took to the face also given all the smoke from Houren's roar and his previous chlorous eruption.

Given the following hit has landed then Ace would land down in front of the carriage and turn sideways so Nastasya and her pet were about a meter to his left and Houren to his right about 11 meters away. His head still tilted facing Nastasya to see what happens to her after the smoke clears, keeping the disgusted look on his face. The gas mage squinted his eyes as the smoke dissipated.

OOC:
Since Nastasya's post was nulled and Houren auto-hits, I played my spells after his spell connected.

Victoire, (Nastasya's companion) was also auto-hit with Houren's spell.

Total damage done from my spell and punch is C + D

Hikaru Nakamura

After being gone for so long Hikaru's superiors weren't happy. How unhappy were they? They assigned Hikaru a night shift. He let his new companion stay home while he roamed the alleyways. He had been looking for some teens who he had caught doing graffiti. Being the good guy he was, he let them off cause they were simply kids, he told them the next time he caught them they wouldn't get off so easily, though. As Hikaru was coming out of the alleyway he saw something. It was a stranger. He watched the stranger dart out and lots of fire erupted. Usually, at night, most people couldn't see anything but the fire did make everything bright.

Hikaru saw one man with the Rune Knight symbol but the fire never reached him, but rather someone darted towards the action and defended him. However just as they had protected him, they shot a beam in his direction of fire which was counter productive but based on the actions they were protecting him, since the hit did not hit his fellow rune knight. so Hikaru figured, for now, that person would be neutral until he had more information on him. Hikaru watched as he sprang into action making gas erupt and Hikaru had waited around enough and decided he would now get involved figure he now had one for sure enemy. As the attack hit Hikaru finally activated his spells. The alleyway was about 10 meters away from the brunette female, slightly behind her."Full speed," Hikaru said. He attacked right after his fellow rune knight landed the punch if the punch of the fellow rune knight did not hit he would nonetheless proceed with the attack. As Hikaru darted forward an aura (Lieutenant's might) surrounded him as he lifted his right fist and punched at the female with brown hair. He would punch her in the face in an attempt to knock her down after the fire roar if that was the only attack that landed. If his fellow Rune Knights hit had hit her and knocked her down, or if she stay standing he would punch her whether she was on the ground or standing. If it had sent her into the air, he would punch her in mid air. Regardless, after his punch, Hikaru would inhale loudly and exhale unleashing a loud roar on the female who had just attacked his fellow knight in an attempt to TKO her. The direction he roared in was away from his fellow Rune knight and away from the car. Hikaru would even reposition himself if he had to to make it so he would only be hitting her with the spell. Based on the speed and distance it would take Hikaru 1/4th of a second to reach her and land a hit.

#14Faust Noire

Theseus' Escape [Event] Empty Wed Apr 05, 2017 11:25 am

Faust Noire
A royal blue uniform, no longer attached to the albino man, could be found just outside the entrance of the auction house. His initial task was completed, having knocked out a defender of society though putting up with a total of three. Had that been the only mission, the potential ecstasy could have made its way up to his brain. Alas, nothing was ever that simple and the albino knew that. The moment he set the bomb and left the three social justice warriors alone, the Coyote scampered to find his comrades. His canine nose eventually brought him to a couple of bushes, where he decided that one must be relieved of one’s demons to be a capable combatant. Had there been anyone nearby, a stream hitting leaves could be heard. Following immediately after was a couple of grunts and plops. Within seconds, the nude warrior had finished his duty.

It wasn’t long until a familiar smell made its way into the Coyote’s capable nostrils. A powerful aroma flew throughout the air; the only other smell capable of clashing with said aroma was the excrement made by himself. This smell was for the Coyote’s nose and his nose alone; others could’ve smelled the same thing, but the interpretation was another subject. Others would only see a giant afro on a little child, but Faust saw a rematch, revenge. His lust for women had cut his previous battle with the gas mage short, although the Coyote never attacked himself for it. To be completely fair, the blonde at the time was a stunning beauty, standing out above the rest. As the albino poked his head above the bushes to survey the surrounding, he saw a war taking place; the eyes darted and analyzed the entirety of the situation at hand in a split second. The Rune Knight brat was back to back with a nobody. Sandwiching them was the dynamic duo that Faust faintly remembered during Icarus’ initial speech before the whole ordeal took place. Their names weren’t on the top of his head, but it mattered little, for he knew what he needed to know; they were his partners in this and they needed help. The same moment, an explosion roared throughout Era. Faust and the other invaders understood what this sound was; the bomb that he had set in the auction house had gone off. The sound flushed the Coyote with adrenaline, surely having the same effect on his comrades.

The flying humanoid threw a fire beam towards the kid, only to have it engulfed by the (unbeknownst to Faust) Fairy Tail mage. As if reactionary, he turned and faced the wine-haired figure and threw a flame ball that rolled towards the beauty. But not before Faust had the chance to make his move. Shame that he didn’t have the chance to wipe his arse. From the bushes, he sprang and towards the flame mage, he ran. The brat had already left the vicinity, leaving the fire mage to be all alone in the dispute. The way Faust popped out was similar to a Greek athlete playing their games; one foot would only come after the other had planted itself into the floor, all pressure in his toes would be pushed and used to boost himself forward. The bushes that hid his presence only being two meters away from Houren, the naked warrior reached him in the blink of an eye, approaching at his right side. In his right hand of glory was his very own fecal matter. The hand was already in the motion to make a right hook, minus the fist. As soon as he was within range, the Coyote would direct the smelly attack into the fire mage’s open mouth, per his fire attack only a second beforehand. As the hook came into motion, the excrement would be thrown to reach his mouth before it was followed by a fist to the nose. Had the hit landed, a number of nerves would be injured and cause immobilization. The left hand took no seconds of rest either. Pulled back close to Faust’s chest as he dashed and tracing the hands of the long-haired male, the hand reacting defensively to physical attacks that Houren would throw back at him. Given it was recognized as a defensive offering and ignored, a left hand is then connected to the enemy’s temple. The way it occurred began with a balled fist towards the side of his head, A circular arc formed, the power behind the hit granted from sudden hip rotation as the arm extends. The attack used was similar to a sideswipe. That results in a knocked out fire mage.

The moment that blows had been attempted, the Coyote backs up to hide from the third-party. He had only momentarily entered the scene and despite Faust having made no contact with the last man, the nose of the Lycan was able to differentiate the different smells there.

  • Regarding Ace's OOC in his last post, Nastasya's post was not nulled. Her attack with her spell was nulled, but the attack of her pet still goes through. Because Ace made no attempt to dodge it, claiming hit of C-Rank damage from Victoire to Ace, resulting in his END being 14D.

  • +15 to STR and END, resulting in my stats being 19 STR and 16 END due to completion of my previous topic.

  • I took 2D/1C damage in my previous topic, resulting in my END being 30D.

Nastasya Crowe has to make hit calls for herself cause it's her pet. You don't get to take control of someone else's pet in combat.

Odin †

A lot had occurred in the space of time between Odin firing off his spell and his spell reaching its target, most of which had taken the form of new combatants in this mini war. Odin had seen one enemy, and one ally, as he had fired off his Incinerate, but now it seemed like there were two more enemies, and one more ally. A man with silver hair had appeared, and stood directly in the firing line of Incinerate, almost as if he had intended of being hit by it, to save the child from being hurt. Although, Odin would soon see that this was not the case, as the newcomer had a rare magic that Odin had not yet been able to experience, much less face, in his brief time as a Grimoire Heart mage. A dragon slayer, and not just that, but a fire dragon slayer, and thus the only person who could prove to be a challenge to Lucifer Morningstar, as this mage consumed Incinerate as though it was simply water trickling down his throat after a long day of work. Lucifer was as impressed by this as he was annoyed at his luck, having to now face off against someone who's magic completely countered his own elementally. However, after absorbing Lucifer's spell, the man did not retaliate. At least, he didn't attack Lucifer. Instead, he fired off a similarly looking spell of fire in Nastasya's direction, turning his back to the 'easy target' in the fight. Unbeknownst to Odin, the child would also want begin to move, running towards Nastasya in an attempt to strike her down, and remove her from the fight early. Shame the demon wasn't planning on staying still.

The instant Lucifer's spell was absorbed, a loud, resounding bang was heard throughout Era, the sound of a bomb going off in the city, due to the abilities of the other Phantom Lord and Grimoire Heart mages working on their own missions. The moment that bang sounded, Odin would unleash Incinerate once more, aimed again at the young boy with the afro, as he was being extremely annoying, having had a saviour from the last attack. Now, the dragon slayer had other problems, as another ally of Grimoire Heart had moved in to attack him. At this moment, Odin dashed towards the three gathered, moving diagonally down to the ground but still staying airborne, now being five meters away from Ace (3m horizontally and 4m high). In this movement, Odin had removed his ally and the dragon slayer from his range, allowing his Incinerate to only hit the child with the afro. He was a pain in the ass, but he'd soon be out of the equation.

#17Houren Vanadis

Theseus' Escape [Event] Empty Fri Apr 07, 2017 10:42 am

Houren Vanadis
Even when the young Rune Knight with the questionable taste in haircuts had managed to escape from the opposing Fire mage's spell range, Houren did not allow his guard to drop in the slightest. The constant wave of fire that was being pushed against his back was actually akin to something like getting a massage, although he knew full well that it was a powerful magic spell capable of charring the average person. The Fairy Tail mage's ears perked up when the sound of an explosion resounded throughout the town of Era, but it was not the sound that he was concerned with, as a putrid and foul stench invaded his nostrils for a mere moment; Houren turned to face the source of the smell, and before his very eyes was the beautiful sight of a potential assassin being caught in the fire that Houren had bravely been enduring. Identifying this man immediately as an enemy, albeit not a very bright one, who had been intent on attacking him while his back was turned, Houren reacted swiftly, clenching both fists and allowing heat to resonate throughout his body, landing a strong right fist on would be assailant just as he activated the spell, followed by a left fist on his jaw. He didn't stop there as he instinctively made a pistol shape with his now idle right hand, pointed it at Lycan and shot, unleashing a bullet of fire into the beast's temple from point blank range. To finish things off, and just to be safe, Houren's right hand became engulfed in flames, and he quickly swung it in an arc to strike his opponent with his fingertips.

Realizing that the sweet embrace of an enemy's flames were no longer upon him, Houren ignored the Lycan who he knew would no longer be a threat to him, and turned up to the sky, only to see that the Fire Takeover mage, who's visage resembled a demon, had begun to fly, hellbent on making the young Rune Knight his target. "Forget the woman! Run, he's coming after you again!" the Fairy Tail mage shouted. He did not often participate in these kind of group battles, but there was nobody who could say that Houren did not have a good battlefield voice, and he managed to carry his intent across the distance between him and the young law enforcer quite well. Perhaps it would be a futile effort, but it was on a whim that Houren decided to sprint towards the direction of the fire; the man's spell seemed to be sustainable, and even if he could not physically save Ace once again, he knew he could replenish the mana that he had lost if he managed to consume some of those flames.

755/930:

OOC Notes:
The flying humanoid threw a fire beam towards the kid, only to have it engulfed by the (unbeknownst to Faust) Fairy Tail mage. As if reactionary, he turned and faced the wine-haired figure and threw a flame ball that rolled towards the beauty. But not before Faust had the chance to make his move.

According to Faust's opening post, he is taking a shit in a bush only 2 meters away from me, and because of this incredibly short distance, managed to reach me within the ''blink of an eye''. OK, let's take this to be true. The last sentence of that extract I've taken from his post also explicitly implies that he made his move before I used my attack. OK, let's take this to be true too; that Faust had already attacked me before I had a chance to unleash my Roar.

According to this extract from Odin's latest post, the explosion was heard as soon as I had finished consuming, and at the moment the bang was heard, he used Incinerate again. However, because of Faust's previous action of having made his move before I could attack, reaching me in the blink of an eye as he states, he's clearly in the direct path of Odin's spell.

Please note that Incinerate is a sustain spell; you don't cast it again, you'd have to redirect it. Such a maneuver, which would include more flight and possible twists and turns of the arm cannot be done in the blink of an eye, like how Faust managed to reach me. Although the actions were seemingly simultaneous, there's no possible way that Odin would have been able to REDIRECT (redirect, not cast again) the spell faster than Faust would have taken to reach my position, which, of course, was in the blink of an eye.

tl;dr: He'd be hit.

To begin with, a D-rank Lycan going up against a person he would have known to have an affinity with fire is already strange, since y'know, they're not supposed to like fire. To expand on that though, the damage of Odin's A-rank spell would go up two ranks to what I assume is non existent X-rank damage. The three D-ranks I've used on Faust would all be taken under B-rank damage (4Dx3), plus the C-rank punch (2D). In other words, with all the damage calculated, and if my argument is coherent and consistent enough to be agreed upon as canon, Faust would be knocked out.

#18Nastasya Crowe ✝

Theseus' Escape [Event] Empty Sat Apr 08, 2017 4:50 am

Nastasya Crowe ✝
She had been a bit stupid, the fact that her first bash of spells needed help being created with blood, she forgot to bite herself and so her Flawless spell didn't work. Erebus had told her to go all out but her stupidity of that day made it that she was trying to figure out her mistake, and the flames hit her. Which did hurt quite a lot but that wasn't all, apparently there was a guy behind her and that hurt even more and so she lost conscious.

However Nastasya wasn't alone, Victoire had made a run with her speed and stopped at 8 meters to Nastasya her right, but five meters in front of Ace, going from her left side back at the Carriage to her right, making it possible to avoid the flames her owner was hit with and hit the child with her ice beam. She turned to look at the disaster around and felt anger in her body, anger for everyone that hurt her partner and her friends, if you would like to call it that way. She turned to look at the flames that missed her, but apparently the flames weren't everything as a third person appeared there and started to attack Nastasya.

Victoire hurried back, with another dash, he was hitting at her and before anything else there was this huge electricity coming out of his mouth. She ran and made a jump to bite him in his neck, jumping from behind him and pulling her claws into his clothing to hold on to his back, shoulders and thus not being able to simply shake off.

Part One: Ace vs Nas

At first it was said her post was voided but I went back and corrected myself when Faust tried to claim hits for her pet.

Nastasya’s Crowe’s Actions were nulled, due to her post being rushed/sloppy. There was no secret with that. Her pet’s was not. I can say her pet’s actions were vague as shit however comma. It was made very clear by myself and acknowledged by Ace himself that he was aware of the pet attacking. He still went to auto hit her pet not dodging her attack.

Theseus' Escape [Event] T3jiJ6D

Evidence #1:

Above we have the picture Ace sent to me when I said her whole post was voided. Now admittedly I was a bit slighted and said that cause folks were arguing over posts making a stink. I said something hasty to make folks shut up because general chat is not for that. A before

Evidence #2:

I did come back and correct myself in evidence two. Now ace admittedly agreed with "I know" but is trying to push for her post being voided to claim a auto hit. Now with you agreeing to it, its you against you. The picture above is not doctored in any way shape or form so for the following call its justified for this reason alone. You ignored the pet even though you agreed that the pet still attacks.  And After

Let’s get right into it.

Starting from the top With Post #10

Nas wrote:Victoire was in her way to the child to hit him with one of her frost spells remaining on Nastasya her right sidr. Again five meters away from the two that were in their way.

The pet was running to the child [Ace] and he was running towards the pet. In his post,

Ace wrote:Ace wasn't about to miss his window as he kept charging towards the pale skinned woman.

Mind you ace has 1 speed so that's a 5 m/s dash vs a pet with 15 speed that's 6 m/s. With that being said the pet was already running at ace and he ran in to the pet meeting his fate. With that being said

Judgement: Ace takes the hit from the pet. C rank in damage vs 4 Endurance so you can imagine he is in some pain at this given time. The pet would have been chasing after Ace so no it wouldn't have gotten hit by Houren's spell it has effectively dodged his spell. Cause 5m3 is cubic and is actually pretty small. So Ace's actions as far as spells after that would be nulled as the timeline changed. He gets mana refunded. I can't say the same for some other folks. Stay tuned for part two.

Part Two: Electric Boogaloo

Theseus' Escape [Event] WIPT6Ez

This will be concerning everything else. Aka Houren, Faust and Odin.

Spoiler:

Spoiler:

Lets take a moment to really analyze the situation.

1. Fire mage already ate the spell thus deactivating the sustain first off. However, since there is no rule specifically, making a call on that so I have to let it ride and make a judgement according to whats presented.

2. Houren is correct, your beam would still be technically being fed to him. Since he closed his mouth the laser would still be going. Considering he is immune to fire damage, its a tropical breeze to him. Odin would have to redirect a laser towards Ace, thus hitting Faust. Why? Well Faust used his speed to try and intercept  Houren's actions first. He would have gotten caught in the cross fire as Odin moved his laser to hit Ace.

Judgement: You contradicted yourself Odin. You say you reused incinerate then in ooc say sustained. You can't flick it on and off like that. You have the laser up sustained fire. Or you turn it off period you don't just have a AOE sustained laser you can fire on and off at will. If you stop firing, it goes on cool down. In this situation you friendly fired cause you sustained it. In the case of that Faust would have taken a hit from Odin.

Realistically, speaking I don't see Faust dodging a barrage of attacks while getting deep fried by Odin. I would have to wait for Faust's post to make a definitive call but for the most part he would be badly burnt due to lack of END from Odin's attack. That would lead into him getting comboed pretty hard by Houren. Especially considering he committed to his actions. Altering trajectory mid dash without help of a spell would be nigh impossible.

So Faust has taken a A rank beam from his Teammate.

The series of events changed and Nastasya wouldn't have been hit by Houren. As Houren's attention is now drawn to a naked man trying to shove poo in his mouth. So the mana used for the roar will be refunded since it never happened technically. I have spoken, posting resumes. Don't call me until next rotation.

#21Hikaru Nakamura

Theseus' Escape [Event] Empty Sun Apr 09, 2017 1:38 pm

Hikaru Nakamura
As Hikaru darted forward an aura (Lieutenant's might) surrounded him as he lifted his right fist and punched at the female with the red hair at the temple. He would punch her in the temple in an attempt to knock her down and then use another attack TKO her. He had full intent to knock her out. Since he was coming from slightly behind her, not many could see it except those facing her.

Hikaru was going to hit her in the temple than use his roar. After hit her in the temple, the roar wasn't necessary cause the hit left her on the floor unconscious. Hikaru brought his attention to the fox and then would attempt to sprint straight at it to punt kick it in the head/temple area in an attempt to get rid of another obstacle on the battlefield. Since it was close to Natsya it would be a quick movement, If the fox could react Hikaru would be impressed and would put 10 meters in between them.

OOC: Since no one acknowledges they see me in the alleyway before my attack so I suppose it's safe to assume it's a surprise attack. Secondly, I said my attack goes through no matter if ace's attack hits or not, and she had also acknowledged me attacking her. Thirdly I specified that I punched her and she never specified the punch but only the roar. Therefore I think it's safe to assume my attack should go through so claiming a hit.

Nastasya Crowe wrote:She had been a bit stupid, the fact that her first bash of spells needed help being created with blood, she forgot to bite herself and so her Flawless spell didn't work. #22Ace Brookes

Theseus' Escape [Event] Empty Sun Apr 09, 2017 5:27 pm

Ace Brookes

Ace hadn't seen the beam of ice that shot out at him. It literally seemed to be coming out of no where. The gas mage completely forgot about Nastasya's pet and it seemed to him like the man in the sky had not noticed it's swift movement either. The ice beam connected with the young mage's stomach sending him toppling onto the floor. It wasn't easy to cope with the pain. His arms were scratched from rolling all over the ground. The young mage knew he had no time to inspect his injuries. This was one fast paced fight that seemed to involve people way more experienced than he was.

His right elbow took the most damage as it ended up facing off the rocky ground alomd woth his feet as he came to a stop. He pushed off against his right arm which prevented his face from scratching against the ground to spring back up, still bearing the excruciating pain of the ice beam. The ground was now tainted with a light trail of the afroed boy's blood. He was even more so infuriated than when he first came across the carriage. His eyes rolled in rage over to the man still sitting crosslegged by the carriage as the flames slowly blurred and eventually restricted his vision. He had a feeling that Odin wasn't planning on letting go of him yet. So his eyes darted up towards the man who was now 4 and a half meters away still flying at the rune knight's direction. The dark skinned boy wasn't in the best shape to kick his ass, but his stubbornness never stopped him from trying. It was in an instant where Ace extended his arms and sprung up in the air using his jet of helium at an angle slightly directed at the man who was still flying towards him. His left hand was used to cast his sword of arsine which sprouted up to five meters immediately, and was aimed to  pierce through the man's chest where his heart was. That was to be done during Ace's come up knowing that the man was still flying forward and his momentum would drive him through Ace's spell coming the other way. Judging by the pain it would cause to have been stabbed in the chest, Ace assumed that would make it hard for the man to sustain or even manage to point his spell at him accurately. The gas mage would continue to rise with his sword still at five meters and stuck in the man's chest till he was over a meter over him. (Five meters from the ground, one meter over Odin, and 3 meters horizontally from odin). Had the gas mage not been in this much pain, then he could have been able to use his right arm to attack the man in another way.

Knowing that the whole jump was to happen very quickly, the man's momentum was still thrusting him against Ace's sword. The gas mage would then extend the sword by a meter to push his opponent down as he still came towards him. This was to bring the flying mage down while keeping the height difference between him and Ace as they descended. This should place the both of them in between all the action with Odin's back facing towards the ground as Faust and Houren stood behind him, and Ace's back facing upwards with Nastasya and Hikaru being behind him. There should have been 6 and a half meters from Ace to Hikaru's side and 3 meters from Odin to Houren's side. If Odin crashed down onto the ground before Ace did then he'd shorten his sword while still leaving it plucked onto the man's chest withering around with the movement of his hand. Following Odin's crash with a kick to the head from Ace as he landed down over him. The man seemed like nothing more than a pesky fly attempting to tackle the kid, thinking he was the easy target. A common mistake that most ignorant adults made. It was true he wasn't on the level of the other mages physically, but he was definitely smarter than most of these dumbasses who thought he was the weak link; he used their lack of preparation against them.

OOC:
•Taking back mana for Chlorous Acid: Eruption since it wasn't used.

•Judging by the momentum and the sustained spell occupying Odin's hands, my spell should land effectively.

•Looking at Theseus can be considered to be merely a fraction of a second just as Ace was springing up right before the sustain spell even reached the scene.

•Note that i did take damage from the Ice beam now and it restricted my options by not allowing me to move freely including my right arm being injured which i didn't cast any spells with.

•Odin hadn't said anything about Victoire attacking me in his post assuming that he didn't see it coming either, thus justifying why he could've missed me after i got knocked by the beam.

•One last thing, anyone that has a problem with me posting after Hikaru can talk to Roman.

#23Faust Noire

Theseus' Escape [Event] Empty Tue Apr 11, 2017 12:37 pm

Faust Noire
Almost nothing is perfect. However, that was the only word capable of describing the event of actions that went on in the noggin of the canine. But instead of shoving the hand full of shit into the mouth of his opponent, the fecal matter dispersed into thin air. The wild phenomenon wasn’t as it seemed; science had taken place when the flames ran across the flesh of the male. Having been turned into a werewolf, his immunity to fire was manipulated as a weakness now. The once fearless male had been turned into a charred animal.

He was too confident and it brought him the downfall. He relied on his nose and because of it, resulted into nothingness. That was only from the Lucifer’s spell alone. The barrage continued, Houren finishing things off with a swing. Because of the unbearable pain from Lucifer, the Coyote couldn’t have dodged the incoming barrages on Houren’s part.

How shameful it all was. Everything. But because of his fabulous persona, the male clung onto the last bit of consciousness he had left. Shakily, his hands were brought up and with each, a majestic finger would arise. The fingers were the most slender, the longest, the very last attack that he’d concur. Alas, consciousness gave out and the naked warrior fell backwards, his external organ for urination showing the only sign of life left.

Odin †

OOC::

The afro boy froze on the spot, not moving after he had the sound of the bomb exploding had reached the ears of those gathered. From that, it was simple for Odin to hit him with Incinerate, but afterwards he cancelled the spell, hoping to rely on other means since one of the opponents had an immunity to fire, not to mention he could render all of Odin's offensive spells useless. That didn't matter though, as it was almost time to wake Theseus up from his dormancy. The boy with the afro had already apparently been struck by another spell, but now he was burned, his skin turning red raw and his clothes disintegrating before him. Incinerate was an aptly named spell, and it caused serious damage to the target. The spell was cancelled after it would connect with the boy, and Odin was still in the air, but he decided to climb, changing from his 4m height to a much safer twenty meters, which would keep him away from any unwanted spells. As he rose, Lucifer would keep an eye on his enemies, making sure none of them tried to attack him as he flew.

Odin's post today that was used has been nulled/voided. Because blatantly using ooc knowledge ie Ace's fear of loud noises even tho he uses gas/explosion based magic. (Kind of contradictory but hey what do I know right.) First and last warning Odin. You have never interacted with said character so ya can't use that against him.

Also added thing, the whole time explosions have been going off. He has been using his spells (which are explosions so he should get spooked every time loud noise happens) Also other spells getting used etc etc. You can't conveniently use someones fear against them in the midst of the shitstorm happening when other loud noises would have immobilized him from the start.
