Yumi left her room, shutting the door closed with a loud bang, startling her familiar Venom who floated beside her. The odd duo of darkness-dwelling creature and demonic gothic lolita made their way down from the second floor of the inn they were staying in, down to the bottom floor. Yumi approached the bar ordering up a strawberry milkshake to go receiving odd looks from the other occupants, but they had long since learnt not to mess with the tiny gothic lolita that had taken up residence in this inn. Those who last attempted to cause her trouble ended up with a permanent visit to the afterlife.

Yumi waited patiently as the inn owner and bartender made up the strawberry milk concoction for the little girl, or so she appeared. The inn owner had learnt from last time he made the shake to make it extra sweet, adding more strawberries and icecream to appease the odd lolita that was renting a room out. Yumi tapped her fingers softly on the counter, not long her order arrive, a tall strawberry milkshake in a giant cup with lid and strawberry. The cup could hold three litres of liquid and was filled to the brim. Yumi raised the straw to her lips and took a sip, moaning erotically at the taste. The moan drew almost everyone's attention, everyone looking at her with gaped mouths.

Yumi hopped off the seat she was on and left the tavern slash inn holding her drink as she headed into town, heading in the direction of the Dark Quest board. The gothic lolita was bored and wanted to quell her boredom by earning a little money and hopefully having a little fun along the way. Perhaps she would run into Alice again and partner up with the red haired girl from Phantom lord.

She was lost in the book that she was reading. She had borrowed it out of the library of the Phantom Lord Guildhall. It wasn't really a very interesting book for the normal citizen of Fiore but for a girl with amnesia, you get far. Especially because there seemed to be so much that she couldn't remember. Has she ever been in Magnolia? Orchidia? Anything she wondered where she came from, where was she born. This country right? Because she never remembered going to Fiore on her own, she was found here or well brought to an Orphanage in Crocus.. far from her own family? Selena had said that her mother had saved her but why bring her to an orphanage? It made no sense and she clenched her fist while reading and trying to remember as well as understand.

There were moments when she just finished showering and with the mirror a bit foggy, she could see most of her reflection but not the details, which sometimes she tried to imagine that it was her sister. She couldn't remember much, no name, no anything. Some of her personality, that she was always following the rules, always got praised but that as soon as her mother or maybe even father left them alone, Alice would be pushed and pinched and it was not at all very nice. With a loud sound she closed the book, some people in the hall were looking at her but she didn't care as she got up and put the book in her bag, she should head out. Without even thinking about getting a coat of some sorts, she simply left. Her sweater would be fine, her jeans were always a go, her boots good enough.

There wasn't really a plan forming in her mind, she just had to get some fresh air and empty her mind. Without really looking around she walked through town, lost in thoughts, silent thoughts. That's when she noticed some people whispering, pointing and in general being annoying. She looked where the source of curiousity came from and noticed Yu. As usual, she simply walked past the people and towards Yu and the quest board, "Funny finding you here. How are you? Looking for a job?" Okay one question at a time would have been better.

Yumi's crimson hues moved along the quest board as she looked over the numerous quests posted. Sadly none of them was any higher than D rank. It seemed it was a slow month, again. The gothic lolita wished there would be quests of at least C rank or higher for her to take but luck was not on her side, but Yumi wasn't about to complain she would take what she was given. There was no use in complaining, as who would she complain to?

The member of the demonic race reached out having spotted the quest she desired to take. Grabbing the quest Yumi didn;t have a chance to read it as someone called out to her, a voice she recognised, and so she should as Yumi had gone on a number of quests with them already. Turning to the voice she confirmed that it was indeed the young red haired girl from Phantom Lord, Alice.

Yumi gazed up at the 'older' woman, ignoring the looks they were receiving it was certainly getting annoying but Yumi could ignore it, for now. Yumi looked back at the quest in her hand quickly reading over it, "Yes, I was growing bored." THe quest was one petitioned by Sirius PHantasm of the Phantasm family, a rich family in Oak who had numerous business. The Phantasm family was not one to be crossed at least not now.

"Would you like to join me?" Asked the gothic lolita as she held out the quest for Alice to read. Apparently among the masons hired by the Phantasms for a job was a blabbermouth and saying things they shouldn't about said family.

Some people were either very insane or simply disgusting and well Alice did care about that a bit but she had to let it go. It was not her problem as people weren't staring at her or well she thought they wouldn't be staring at her. The problem was that they were staring at her from the moment she talked to Yu. Probably eager to get more information about the thirteen years old. Although Alice still suspected her being a bit older, some questions you shouldn't ask. They were simply rude. She had already asked other questions and after she did give a death stare to the people closest to them for it was annoying, as if she could feel their breath on her shoulder.

She was awaiting Yu her answer and stared at the rest of the board. Most jobs were likely the same, as in rank. She hadn't seen higher ups even though her power certainly felt more.. well something. The problem was that she still needed to train more. She had figured that she was able to fight with weapons, that she could store them in a dimensional pocket but really fighting wasn't her strongest thing. Maybe she should ask someone to train with her but she was a bit afraid of Yami and well Selena wasn't here. She didn't know other people. That's when her daydreaming needed to stop for Yu asked her something. She had mentioned that she was bored and invited Alice along in her quest, "Oh that would be great." she took the moment to read the quest and it didn't sound like a problem.

After she accepted, she and Yu left the town centre to walk to the Phantasm castle. The only place in Oak where Alice hadn't been before. Because she had nothing to do there. She knew very little about Yu, she was in a secret very dark guild and that was it. Or that was the only thing she was sure about. "I don't want to be rude and I hope you don't mind me asking. But doesn't your guild have better jobs for you than finding a blabbermouth?" because the job sounded very stupid.

When they reached the castle, there were guards that didn't let them pass until Alice mentioned the request. They brought them to Sirius Phantasm that only told them what the request already said. They would pretend to be assistant masons but actually try and find the blabbermouth and report to him. After that small talk the Guard brought them to the side where the masons were building. And boy they were staring more than the people in town. First off all they were the only females and Yu well her age spoke for itself.

Yumi held out her hand requesting the quest back from Alice after the red head had read it. Yumi rolled the quest up, sliding it down the front of her chest for safe keeping. You never know when you might need to reread the quest. The gothic lolita started following Alice, walking up behind her before walking beside her. As she walked the red head from Phantom Lord would question the gothic lolita on her choice of job asking if her guild would not have better jobs, then dealing with some blabbermouth. Yumi tucked a strand of long black hair behind her right ear and look to Alice with her ruby red eyes that glistened like diamonds, the sunlight reflecting off her milky skin.

"I have not heard word from my guild as of late, as such I am forced to partake in this mundane chores. While I dare not look a gift horse in the mouth, I would rather be actively participating on B rank quests instead of these annoying D ranks. They are for amateurs." Commented Yumi, as she tucked her hands behind her back. Her feet would cross over as she walk creating a seductive sway that could only be described as natural, there was something alluring to her walk and the charm that rolled off her tiny form.

As they reached the castle, the guards stopped them halting their movements but Alice managed to persuade them by bringing up the quest granting them access to the castle. yumi followed behind sending a wink in the direction of one of the guards making him blush. Yumi smirked as she walked after Alice to the area where the masons were. The two stood out being the only girls and each of them was far older than the gothic lolita. Yumi would share a look with Alice, "Perhaps we should stick together." Offered the gothic lolita before she started getting to work. Lifting up large wooden beams and moving them across the area to where they needed to be placed.

As Yumi worked she would listen in on any conversation that caught her eye, or even persuades the workers to talk by showing a little skin of her elbows, pulling her collar down in a seductive manner. A woman's charm was great for making people open up especially men, as once you hooked a man with your charms you could make them talk. By the end of the day Yumi heard one of the walkers talking in an erratic suspicious manner. The gothic lolita swayed up to him, swinging her hips and placed a hand on his right thigh and used her charms to make him talk and did he talk. The worker, identified by his black goatee and hair with red streaks admitted he was the snitch/

Yumi gave him a peck on the cheeks before leaving saying she had to return to work. Yumi would swing by alice letting her know what she had found before pulling Alice with her to find Sirius. There Yumi would explain about the worker with red highlights and black goatee being the snitch then demanding to be paid. Once she had her jewels Yumi bid Alice good day and walked off heading home.

Alice had asked Yu the question of why she was doing these jobs. Informing about her guild. As Yu explained and said these jobs were for amateurs, Alice didn't even feel offended. She was an amateur. That was actually the best word to describe herself. They reached the castle and in the end got to the job. There were many men and they were all staring probably startled as well. Yu suggested to stay together and Alice could only agree and follow her example of carrying the beams and so on. It was her job to work and listen. She first didn't know how and gazed at the work Yu was performing and followed her example.

After working for most of the afternoon, Yu came to Alice telling she found the snitch. She was pulled with Yu who made her way back into the Phantasm castle to tell Sirius all about the man. Alice regonized the description of the man and nodded. She had heard him talk but not enough to make that conclusion. She assured Sirius that he was the only one and together with the Jewels and a farewell from Yu, she left the castle. Feeling a bit sore from the hard work. She definitely had a long way to go.
