Details


Description: Nero's Obscura bestows supernatural powers to Daemons and turns them into a Renegade: Inside of the unending and turbulent Abyss are beings who's sole goal in their immortal lives is to sow as much discord, pain and ruin as possible. Then there are others who have either done that for so long that it is boring now, or someone that has embraced the true nature of the Abyss, chaos. You no longer follow the normal rules of a Demon, and while you still have an interest in destroying and other things, as is your nature, how you go about it and how long that takes is more up to you. You are effectively a free agent in the world, though most will not see you as anything other then your race. Though normally your goals put you at odds with the rest of your kind, for one reason or another.

Extra


Requirements:
  • The user must purchase this item from the Mysterious Merchant.
  • The user must be a Daemon or Demon.
  • Daemons must have the Virtue contract to purchase this item, or be Contractless. If the user removes their contract while remaining a Daemon, they will keep their access to this upgrade.

Effects (General)


  • Abyssal Impetus: The user's Strength and Constitution are increased by 20%

  • Devil Trigger: Channeling the depth of their Demonic powers in a sudden burst, the user may choose to pay double the Mana cost for a Darkness Element Offensive Spell they have Synergy with. This doubles the range of that spell as well as its maximum size. If the user is an Adventurer, this applies to Weapon Spells instead. Additionally, this increases the rank of the damage dealt by one rank. This stacks with Overcharge, but doesn't double the damage an additional time (ex: an Overcharged S-rank spell with this ability will deal 3S-rank damage rather than 4S-rank).


Effects (Demon)


  • Dark Slayer: Damage dealt by Darkness Element weapons is considered 1 Rank Higher and ignores Racial Resistances. This includes weapons affected by Obscura Enhancement.

    Mana Cost: 25-500
    Requirements: 50 RP Posts after this has been purchased
    Type: Supplementary
    Element: Darkness
    Range: 10-50 Meters
    Cooldown: 1-5 Posts
    Duration: Instant
    Effect: Using the purest form of the Abyss, the user teleports, leaving a black smoke like after image, up to the maximum range of the spell. This happens at instant speed, and the distance you can move depends on the spell range of the spell cast. This spell can only be used at the very end of a post.
