Emil being his usual self was shoving his way through a crowd of people that were in his way and he wondered why a crowd had come to surround someone that was fighting with another and Emil saw that one of them was a thief that was stealing sweets and the other was confronting them but Emil felt that there was more to this than just a fight over sweets so he stayed to watch and he was not really impressed by the fight as the thief clearly had no idea of what he was doing in the fight and his stances were just pathetic he was not sure if he should pity him or not but the fight was over pretty quickly but before the sweets could be taken back Emil steps up and pays for them. "It is my bad he was to get them for me but I raised my voice and I must have scared him."

Emil does a loud boastful laugh at this thought and lie that he had made up on the spot as there was no need to lie but this was just him trying to cover up the truth that he was going to follow this thief and see to why they had been stealing and if it is a good enough reason he might just let it go but if this was a real waste of his time he was going to murder the guy himself as this was something that he can't just turn a blind eye to if he wants to be respected in the community of people that he is running around with but there is a lot that might and could be going on behind the scenes so he was going to watch and see if this guy was on the level or not and then he would attack if he needed too.

Emil was simple and that made it easier for him to be controlled and he wondered if there was a safe way out of this one or if he was going to just end up having to clean up a mess of his own making. Emil followed where the man was heading and he saw the man go into a beaten up building and he wondered if that was really where the man was going and he followed the man into the building and he looked around for where there might be any signs of people and then he see the man in the corner feeding them to, two tiny children that were cheering on seeing him make it back to them a little beaten up but he was alive which was more that he would have been if he had kept fighting and Emil hadn't stepped in like he had but he was not going to be screaming I told you so to the roof tops.

Emil stayed back so the man wouldn't see him then one of the children spoke and asked the man who his friend was and if he was staying for dinner as well and them both saying they were not going to share with him as they wanted to keep their sweets and them were not going to share no matter what the other man thinks or will attempt to do. Emil put his hands up as the man turned around drawing his knife again and Emil points at him and a spark flickers on his finger tip and that was all she wrote the other man dropped the knife backing up and the children look scared now as they had seen the man drop a knife. The children shield their sweeties and back up and run into a hole in the wall and Emil wonders if he was the bad guy in this story or the good guy but Emil doesn't have time to think this over.

Emil moved forward and he gets to the hole calling to the children who don't answer him and the other man explains he had been trying for awhile to bait them out and not Emil had scared them even deeper it would seem but Emil was not going to take that laying down so he shoved himself into the hole and he ended up scaring the children out of the wall and into the waiting arms of the man who took them with him as the man had seemed to be on the level as there was not much that could have been done for them if they were to stay in the walls and end up dying of starving and not being found out by someone else till it was too late the man had thanked Emil and had walked far off to train the children as thieves so they may live and find there own goodies and survive.
