Her skin is a cold and slightly rough porcelain, painted in a light skin tone. She enjoys dyeing and styling her hair colour based on her current outfit, but her ‘natural’ colour and style is blonde and wavy, going down almost to her knees. The doll's eyes though do not change, and are a dull blue on her cute round face under thin eyebrows. Her outfits often change, but she favours various classical Victorian and Lolita dresses. Her primary outfit is a white and light pink ensemble, with a ruffly white blouse, light pink sleeveless dress, a petticoat and bloomers under that, then a frilly white apron over the dress. To finish the ensemble she wears white frilly socks, pink ballerina shoes with crisscrossing ribbons that are under a bow, and a large matching bow to go on top of her head. Extra: Due to the fact her body used to be a porcelain doll, Mielle’s has visible ball joints for her limbs, neck and fingers. The only part of her body that appears to move naturally in her face and torso Personality Personality: Face of an angel mind of a… kind of grumpy person. Or at the very least disgruntled at her circumstances. Afterall, what adult over 30 likes the idea of looking like a young child again? One that can’t even age. Mielle would like that last fact if, once again, she wasen’t stuck at such a young age. At least it’s pretty. Because that is one thing Mielle does like, the fact that a doll's beautiful appearance helps fuel her vanity and love of cute fashion, something people told her she was growing out of in her adult body. Yes, the notable fashionista Mielle Auclair now has a new drive to use her fabulous seamstress and fashion design on her cute new body, something that was a great passion of hers in her ‘old life’. But that doesn’t always lesson her sour and snooty attitude, only applying an occasional bandaid. In fact ever since she’s became so small, her temper has gotten much worse overall. It doesn’t help that she can be prideful and hopelessly accident and gag-prone, which always gets her mad. But that doesn’t mean Mielle is mean-spirited. No, despite her vanity, attitude and bursts of anger, the young-looking woman is a very empathetic and generous person. She often volunteers her time and money for those she thinks need it, and generally tries to help when she can. She was ecstatic when her new body helped her become a mage and is well suited for a lawfully aligned guild where she can help people. Still, despite her appearance and empathy, Mielle is a well-established adult and has a good head on her shoulders when it’s not filled with pride or anger. Common sense and critical thinking reign along with decent perception and investigative skills, though that does cause many to accuse her of being nosy. But in her defense gossiping can be a very useful form of communication. Her entire extended family are non-mages, and she was the same, something she cried about often as a child. But as she grew Mielle accepted her lot in life, and put her magical storybooks down to pick up and thread and needle to make gorgeous clothes for her dolls, and later herself. Outside of her skills in fashion and maintenance of her appearance, Mielle was an unextraordinary girl. She went to school, graduated, became experienced as a seamstress in Crocus, dated and broke up with various individuals, made and lost friends, volunteered her time making and fixing clothes for those who could not, and overall living a full life. Still, her childhood love of magic and adventure reared its head once in a while at the mention of mages and their grand feats before being shoved down. She barely noticed the years passing by until her parents kept bringing up marriage and kids, to the point it was becoming very annoying. So Mielle began to look for a match, and her childhood dreams must have influenced her choice, because she chose the accept the courtship of the mage Severa, of the famous magical Blight family. While Mielle wouldn’t call their romance passionate, she did believe she had a great intellectual-based bond with the genius Severa, to the point they were engaged to be married within a few short years. Then one night as Mielle left work late and was walking to her and Severa’s house, the seamstress’s world went black. All Mielle remembers of this time was foggy images of magical runes, chains, the smell of baking clay, and acid, and the clinking of porcelain. Running as fast as her feet could take her from something diabolical, to a world much larger than she knew. The next thing Mielle knew, she woke up in a farmer's field outside of Crocus, in a body not only she doesn’t recognize, but one human only in appearance. She awoke in a doll's body. Making her way to the city she returned to her family home. It took a bit of convincing, but once her parents were convinced this picture-perfect doll was their daughter they were jubilant. This was because Mielle Auclair had been missing for months alongside her fiancée Severa. This instantly made Mielle suspicious, because while she did respect and care for her bethrothed she knew the other woman was a strong mage, and a genius with less moral scrumples she was willing to admit to the morally upright Mielle. But at the same time, she was greatly concerned that Severa was in trouble, or cursed to the same fate as herself. Choosing to believe in the woman she was going to marry for the time being, Mielle instead focused her attention on the mystery of her new body, how she acquired it, and what happened to her real body. Reporting the crime to the Rune Gaurds just leads to dead ends. But it was during this time of turbulent feelings and grief that Mielle accidentally discovered her childhood dreams had come true; they had become capable of wielding magic. Mielle was a mage. Using this as an opportunity to solve the mystery on her terms, Mielle decided to join a place she knew would accept her new appearance and help her; the guild Blue Pegasus. It helped that said guild was known for its beauty inside and out, but Mielle is determined to use her misfortune to not only help herself, but what she is hoping to be her new home.
