The night air was thick with anticipation as Rockie stepped onto the grassy square in Hosenka, their heart pounding with excitement. The vibrant lights of the Starlight Parade flickered in the distance, captivating their attention and beckoning them closer. The Starlight Parade, a legendary spectacle that their pack mates couldn't stop raving about, had piqued their curiosity. Rockie longed for adventure, and this was an opportunity they couldn't resist. As Rockie made their way through the crowd, the scent of tantalizing street food wafted through the air, causing their stomach to growl loudly. Their canine instincts kicked in, and Rockie found themselves salivating uncontrollably. They couldn't resist the temptation and decided to satiate their hunger before surrendering themselves to the wonders of the parade.

With each bite of the crispy fried cheese curds, Rockie's eyes sparkled with delight. The melty, gooey goodness melted away any lingering worries, and they couldn't help but utter a satisfied growl, much to the amusement of the nearby vendors. As the last remnants of the cheese curds disappeared, Rockie's attention shifted back to the vibrant lights and energetic music of the parade. They scanned the square, their tail wagging eagerly, searching for the best spot to witness the spectacle unfold.

What's fun without chaos~?

The God slayer had decided to take a little mini-vacation in a place called Hosenka, a well-known Joyan-style hot springs town as well as a popular tourist attraction. The half-elf had always been fascinated with Joyan culture since she was young and thought it was the perfect time to check it out for herself. She arrived at the inn where she booked a room in the late afternoon. Naturally, Elyse booked the best inn in town. After all, she couldn't just stay anywhere as the daughter of the renowned Charlotte family.

After she finished checking in, the inn staff wouldn't stop talking about something called the Starlight Parade, so Elyse asked what it was. It turned out to be a very popular local event put on by the community and the local governing body. In other words, it was an extravagant festival of sorts with a spectacular light display, various vendors, etc. The inn staff wouldn't stop recommending that Elyse check it out during her stay, saying she would regret it if she didn't.

So at their urging, Elyse decided she would grace the festivities with her presence. After the god slayer settled her luggage in her room, freshened up, and changed into the beautiful yukata the inn provided, she set out to the festivities. Upon arrival, Elyse was genuinely surprised by how fantastical it all was, the light parade itself was marvelous and much more grand than she'd been expecting. So many dazzling lights, colors, and fun music to harmonize it all.

However, if there was one thing that Elyse didn't like about this event was that most of the festival goers barely noticed her, all of them were far too into the festivities to notice her beauty. How was she to find someone to take back to the room for fun later if no one took notice of her exceptional beauty?
