He has an extroverted personality, always wanting to meet people and get fans. He is very hard working and competitive, not wanting to quit or stop until he is the best at what he is. He is heavily determined to be the best at any cost. He also has a curious personality. He likes to learn new things, because he always strives to improve himself and be the best at everything he does. He learned to speak fiorian, sinese and caelish. And he took it up as a sort of hobby to learn new stuff, dabbling in something that is out of his field, such as medicine, acting and literature. Dae-Seong does have a bit of a flirty personality, though he mostly uses that to gain something from the other party, whether it be knowledge or something else. While he does indulge sometimes albeit rarely in anything thats lustful. He tends to avoid relationships, unless he feels it is the real deal and feels that both parties are willing to commit. He mostly prefers throwing knives or for closer ranged combat a bat. Though the magic doesnt have to be only for constructs made of hard light. But also just for aesthetic and glittery shiny light. History History: Dae-Seong was originally from Joya and all he ever wanted to do is be a singer. He came from a humble family. A mother who is a florist, a father who works at a restaurant, a younger sister who is going to school and looks up to him,a grandfather and lastly a pet dog. Like any kid he attended school and worked hard to get the best of grades. Joyan parents were typical about their kids wanting to be the smartest and such. Which didnt really deter him, considering he had a competitive spirit and wanted to be the best. He took up some school activities to learn certain skills. One day, his class had show and tell. The students get to show off whatever, their talent and such. He thought his hard work would finally pay off and people would see what he was made of. But no one cared. Instead everyone was preoccupied by a hairy rodent. Gerbil or rat or whatever. People found it cuuute. He just at the same time hated it and at the same time didnt care about its existence. Really? All his hard work was sidelined by a small critter? Even the teacher? He was disappointed. As everyone got to have a go at the animal, he was the last one to be handed the critter. He looked at the animal trying to be cute, but it was ugly to him. And helpless. He wished he could just get rid of it. And yet unconciously he held the animal. Tighter and tighter. Until a moment of silence, before a follow up of screams of horror. It was not the attention he hoped for. Of course his family would be called for such an act and behaviour. He clearly needed 'help'. So of course he went to 'experts'. Realizing that he was going down a negative path, ie he saw that if he acted this way he'd probably end up in more trouble, Dae-Seong just learned he needed to fake emotion, distress and remorse over his actions. He needed to be plain and normal. A boring human being. But honestly he didnt change. He would do whatever it takes to be a star. It just meant if he wanted to eliminate the competition, he needed to be smarter. He was approached by his grandfather who wanted to help his grandson get to achieve his dreams and hopefully prevent another tragedy. So he taught him magic, which Dae-Seong adapted to fit his own style. He became decently proficient in magic. And worked to improve himself more. Become more stylish. Be healthier. More athletic. He worked to improve himself to stand beyond the average majority. He dyed his hair. Put contact lenses to cover the bland and average eye colour. He looked into fashion and even make up, to be fabulous. His grandfather suggested that he joins a guild in Fiore. Preferably Fairy Tail, since his grandfather used to be a mage there. His grandfather wrote a letter to the current guild master and told Dae-seong to give the letter to the guild master. And while the grandson nodded and said he'd do that. It was a promise that would not be fulfilled. When Dae-seong set out to go to Fiore, one of the places he eventually arrived to was Hargeon. There he heard about the Blue Pegasus guild which he looked into. And he found that he liked this guild better than Fairy Tail, seeing that this guild suited his needs a lot more. He read into the letter that his grandfather wrote and found its contents to be...controversial so he threw the letter into the sea. Soon enough he would go to the guild and formally and very politely ask to join. Once he joined he'd write to his family and let them know he was fine and that he joined a guild. And there he learned he narrowly escaped quite an event in Joya. He left just before things got fired up.
