Kalec started his day off just like he would do any other day. Morning routine followed by checking out the request board. He noticed one job was from Jay again, the same Jay he spotted for. He took the job without even reading what the job entailed. He got ahead of himself, and thought that this job was going to be exactly the same as before. Kalec put the paper in his pocket and began to make his way to the beach gym once again. When Kalec arrived at the steps that lead down to the beach area, he took a moment to himself, and took in the gorgeous view. He took in a deep breath of the fresh ocean breeze, and continued to the beach gym.

Kalec approached the gym area spotting Jay right away as he was back on the stationary bike again. He approached Jay, giving him a friendly greeting. Upon hearing Kalec's voice Jay got off of the bike, and met him half way. "Yo long time no see." he said jokingly. Kalec reached into his pocket and pulled out the quest paper. "I'm here for the job." he said showing Jay the proof. Jay chuckled to himself, and began to go into details on exactly what the job was. Jay explained that he needed him to take his entry form down to the other end of the beach and turn it in. Kalec nodded his head understanding what needed to be done. Jay walked over to his bag and pulled out his entry form, he had already prepared it and jotted down his info.

Kalec turned around and started walking toward the other end of the beach. With everything going on and how busy Jay was today, He forgot to tell him a vital piece of information. Jay stopped Kalec quickly, and told him that it was a time sensitive matter, and he needed to be there before sunset. Kalec nodded and turned his head back toward the direction he needed to go. He let out a sigh slightly. He knew that this was going to be a long sprint. Kalec began to slowly pick up his pace, going from a walk to a light jog and into a full sprint.

Kalec had a lot of energy to spare especially at this time of day, it was just now a little past noon. Kalec thought to himself that he had plenty of time to get there. While in the middle of his sprint on the sidewalk that stretched from end to end. A elderly couple slowly made their way across the sidewalk, making Kalec come to a complete stop. He was just a meter away, he would have trampled over both of them. The elderly woman turned and looked at him "Slow down boy, you're going to hurt someone if you're not paying attention and running like that. My lord don't you have any manners." she said angerly giving him a good scolding for being reckless. "Yes ma'am, sorry ma'am." He apologized trying to make up for it. While being polite to them out loud Kalec was also thinking ("Hurry up and move along you old bat!") He didn't have time for all the pleasantries, he had a deadline to make. He could have gone around them simply enough, but didn't want to have that awkward moment where neither can pass cause they made the same move as you.

After the elderly couple got out of his way. He thought that it would probably be best to run on the beach, so he didn't have to worry about anyone just randomly appearing in front of him. He made his way down near the waters edge, staying away from where the tide reached. He once again began his run, for sure he wouldn't have anymore issues because he could see the people before they got in his way. Kalec started running on the waters edge. Some time had passed and he was slowly making progress, not nearly close to getting to his destination. Sure running on the beach was harder, and it may take more time than running on the sidewalk, but at least he was right next to the water. Running along the waters edge put a smile on his face.

He was unsure of how much time had passed exactly, but he was able to give a rough guesstimate thanks to the position of the sun. Kalec turned his head to take a glance at the sun to tell, while he continued to run. The sun wasn't over head and it was slowly starting it's descent. ("I got plenty of time to make it. I could probably make it there and back before sunset.") he thought to himself while chuckling. He returned his focus back to looking forward. He was seeing spots in his vision that was most likely due to looking at the sun for too long. He barely saw them in front of him, with the distraction from the spots. There were three small children building a sandcastle directly in his path. The kids were only two meters away. He was about to run straight through their castle, like some gigantic monster destroying a city.

Kalec didn't have time to run around them, and he didn't want to ruin their day either. He quickly took another step and jumped. He leapt over the castle. While flying through the air he would do a flip with a twist incorporated with it. He wanted to show off to the kids, just in case they were scared a bit by their castle almost getting flattened.  He landed perfectly. When he landed he bent his knees and had his arms out in front of him, similar to that of a gymnast. "And he sticks the landing" he said out loud and giving a subtle laugh. The children were impressed by it and began clapping and cheering. "Another one, do another one mister." the boy said while clapping and smiling. Kalec couldn't waste anymore time, he smiled at them and ran off. He turned back to look, and all three of the kids were trying their best to do some tumbling in the sand, laughing and having a good time.

The site of them being happy put a smile on his face. The sky was slowly starting to turn shades of orange, as the sun lowered. He was almost at the sign up tent, finally it was in view. He could even see the line of people in front of it. Now he had two routes he could take to get there. He could run through the area where everyone had their belongings and towels laid out, or he could go around them till there was a clearing for him to cut through. Kalec didn't like the idea of kicking sand all over someone's stuff, so he decided to just keep going. After a few more minutes, he found himself with yet again another obstacle. A group of teens that were sitting in a circle throwing back a few drinks. Kalec didn't want to interrupt their party and decided to just cut through the area with all the towels. He walked the last bit of the way to the tent and stood in line.

He noticed that everyone in front of him had been sweating like crazy. He thought maybe they ran here as well, he wasn't sure. Finally it was his turn. He approached the table and handed over the form that say filled out earlier. The organizers accepted the form, they even asked Kalec if he wanted to participate. He answered quickly with a strong no, as he started heading back. It took a while but finally he was back at the beach gym. He informed Jay about how the job went and that they accepted his entry form. Noticing that Kalec was sweating like crazy and clearly exhausted from the trip to the tent and back, He gave him a drink to cool off, and he would also hand over his reward. Kalec gladly accepted both, and began his trip back to the inn for the night.
