Vampire life was anything but easy... Even now Kanna still struggled to deal with her thirst for blood, and any attempts to exercice some manner of restraint usually backfired in. Less than pleasant ways. When sated, she had the clarity to think straight, much as back when she was still alive. But when the hunger started growing, she lost some of that semblance of control, to the point where every single living creature she walked past shot a shiver up her spine, that undead blood in her veins racing with excitement as she could already feel her fangs growing. She was a predator now, and one bound by a hunger so unnatural no amount of fortitude could hold it at bay:

"Now, where was it that she mentioned.", Kanna was out on her own again, but this time... Nikki was right behind her. That said, the blonde asked to take the lead this time, after all.

She had to get used to feeding on her own? She couldn't always rely on Nikki to find her easy pickings or take care of the witnesses. To her lover, this had already become second nature. But Kanna had been a vampire only for a few weeks, she still had much to learn... As she walked across the streets in the dead of night, clad in nothing but a pair of tight, leathery shorts squeezing snugly around her hips, as well as a sheer, showy little tank top above, she looked like just another clubber. Kanna got used to dressing like that when she went hunting, after all... It tended to make her prey come to her, easily evidenced by a wolf whistle calling out to her. Kanna rolled her eyes. She felt a little cheap using her appearance to attract prey...

"Damn girl~... Whatchu doin here all by yourself?"

But she had to admit... It did make it easier than having to run after them. Out here, on a lone, dark alley with no witnesses, there was nobody to call for help. Where the men saw that as an advantage, Kanna saw that as a weakness. And yet, no matter how hard she tried to swallow that bitter pill... Not in a million years could she play the damnsel in distress, even for a Happy Meal with legs:

"How about nunya damn business?", she sneered, and yet she didn't turn away, simply kept walking forward

Damn I feel like a soccer mom or something? Backing her beautiful blonde belle but not so closely that she might cramp her style too much, once more Nikki showed her fondness for high places as she peeked from the rooftop overhead where she had sent her fellow femme to 'fish', and wrinkled her nose a little as she realised that she was acting like a helicopter parent over the lass she had taught to hunt like she did. In fact, it almost seemed like she had taught her a little too well, in fact.

She really needs to work on her charm offensive, huh? Having to cover her mouth to prevent herself from giggling as she heard the girl with the green gaze seeming to complete miss the mark when it came to her verbal allure, the brunette had to feel glad that her pretty protégé had other assets to fall back on when it came to snaring her next meal, and seemed glad to note that whomever this character was he didn't seem to be offended by the snarl he was given either.
Though I guess the fuckers that don't walk away after that attitude are exactly the sort we should be snacking on eh? On the contrary it almost seeming as if he preferred those with the spirit to fight back, from the perch of the pugilist that only made it feel more of a match which was made in heaven for him to have run into sneering vixen of which Miss Marcello was so fond, especially when the crabby seductress was only too soon to send him deep into the bowels of hell soon after as well…

Jen was out stalking her own nightly prey. She also wanted to see some blood spill. Just not in the matter the two vampires wanted. As she was stealthing around. She saw a guy who would be her likely target. She was considering how to take him out. Head on or the defenceless maiden bit to lure him in. As she was debating, she noticed someone else beat her to the punch.

She would recognize who that was. One of her more senior guild mates. She was curious as to what she was doing, so she observed the interaction. Still, just in case she had her knife ready if she had her own chance to strike. Just in case things go awry. But she doubted. For now she stayed back as to not distract any party. Wanting to see how this naturally plays out

"Ohhh come on... It's only the two of us here yeah? How about you and me just go have some fun huh? Then nobody has to get hurt."

Kanna rolled her eyes but held her ground, glaring at the would be predator, not the slightest bit interested in what this lowlife hoodlum had to offer. The guy didn't seem to care too much what she wanted or didn't, simply swaggering over, hands in his pockets, before reaching out to the less than interested blonde until she had to swat her hand away:

"Well that's a damn lie... Somebody gonna get hurt alright.", she growled, and without warning, she thrust her idle hand out foward, stabbing her outstretched hand through the guy's gut, "It just ain't me."

"Gaah! N-No...! You...!"

Shit... She had to admit, she could get used to this. Never in her life would she have the strength to punch through someone's gut like this, but right now just went through that weakling's body like a knife through butter. For the first time since she heard this lowlife's grating voice... A satisfied smirk drew on her lips as her fangs grew visible

"Now look whatcha made me do. That was a fucking waste.", she said before leaning in and putting the guy out of his misery with a vicious bite to the neck, damn near tearing his throat out...

Guess she still hadn't outgrown her bad neonate habits...

Wow, what a messy eater, huh~? Licking her lips as she watched her perky protégé tucking into her meal with a relish she envied, Miss Marcello didn't know who she envied more in that scene; Kanna for being able to fill her belly with such unabashed voraciousness or her poor and unfortunate victim for being feasted upon by said vixen. I mean, she knew just how good that could be, huh?
Takes after her 'mama' don't she~? Ultimately happy that the blonde had managed to learn to fend for herself in a civilised or at least mostly civilised fashion, the dark dish could see more than a little of herself in how she watched the blonde in action, and certainly didn't hate that fact one little bit. It was like looking into a bloody mirror, no?

Ooooof, looks like a fine slice of dessert there, huh~? Not that it would seem she would be the only one who was sensing a degree of resemblance in the scene which followed when those scarlet eyes seemed to drift from her golden girl and toward another who seemed just as tasty to behold, the brawling brunette raised her brow for a second as she found a femme as flaxen as her own feisty femme drifting onto the scene, and almost felt the urge to rush forward and seize such a gift for her own dinner because of that. The irony, huh?
Wait a sec, isn't that…? Stalled in place however when it occurred to her that this was not the first time she had seemed to note someone who had all kinds of doppelganger going on with the woman she loved however, for a second Nikki seemed to smirk and shake her head as she reckoned that history was repeating itself, and then realized this in earnest as well. After all, she would know that lookalike anywhere, right~?

She didnt expect things to take this kind of turn. But she was in awe. To be able to punch through someone with your own bare hands. That was the kind of power she wanted. She watched as Kanna had her messy and bloody feast. It was quite gruesome.

Realizing there was no prey to be had here, she put her knife away. She considered going to her more senior guild mates, but she had no idea what to say or how to approach them. She noticed that one of them saw her? It was the not blonde one, Nikki. She wondered if the girl recognized her even though she was wearing a mask to help cover up her identity a bit.

"They might be having a moment that Im gonna ruin. But it would be shitty if I just see them and not at least say hi or bye" she thought to herself
