Overall: Kanji is dark-skinned young man with rich dark eyes and black hair. His hairstyle can vary through time and mood but normally it is a combination of short dreadlocks along the top of his scalp, with cornrows lining the sides and back. He wears square-rimmed glasses although he doesn't need them to actually see. Often enough being seen with them both on and off. Being known for his physical fitness, he is quite well-built, a surprising look due to his height and frame. Holding a lot more muscle than he appears. Due to his relaxed personality and carefree care though he tends to stand with poor posture, slouching over.

Most of his outfit consists of a short-sleeve shirt that appears to have either a shadowy Shinigami pattern across the sleeve ending or a joint lightning-fire pattern across the sleeve ending, with flame patterns on the right sleeve, lightning bolt patterns on the left. At other times he can be seen with simples on shirts with various symbols or letters on them such as 'M.A.A.D City' or 'K.O.D'.

Extra: He also has a unique gold-coloured tribal-looking necklace in the shape of a deer as well as various decorative chains when he wears pants.

Personality

Personality:

Kanji can be described as being a rather observant and light hearted man. A strange mix of being short in conversation and talkative at the same time coming off as a normal innocent person with at times a bit of a reserved side. Even tempered in the sense that he is not quickly angered but does not have a high patience as well. Nice and respectful when treated well.

Or at least for what it is seen.

On the deeper side of him there is a strange essence. A pull that he cannot avoid not deny that makes him seek out manipulation and devious ideology. A trickster. Deceptive. The reason why is not known but he is who he is and that is all he can tell.

Charismatic in the way he can twist words, seeking the pain points he can tell and learn from people to give them a push towards things and directions with enough time and effort. Laid back and carefree for he had a strange case of never really showing a lot of things severity. At times this can cause others to see him as just a goofball dimwit that is just...there.

Likes:

Sin: Evil, corruption, pain. It is a sweet drink to his inner soul. A sinner in the manner that he loves causing people to fall into the excess or holes of themselves. Losing who they are or having issues with it.
Manipulation: A pretty much direct connection to his love of sin. He loves to play with people. Mentally, emotionally. Systemically. All in the ways of the sins of the mortal vessel. Wrath. Pride. Lust. Envy. Gluttony. Laziness. Greed. Fear. Any piece of darkness in the mind, soul, and body to twist and turn the threads of light and shadows into a wonderful amusing show for him to witness.

[list][*]Virtue: Clearly from his love of sin and manipulation it is easy to tell. He is against all of the virtues and more. It makes him sick and disgusts him to no end. No one is incorruptible in his eyes and any who claim to be so are fools and pitiful to him.

History

History:

If you were to ask anyone that knew Kanji Lionhart as a youthful child or a young man back home within the Pergrandian Kingdom. They would all say that he was, and is, a kind normal young man. A gentleman. Helpful and motivational. Sometimes inspirational. Obedient as a child that never got into trouble. Raised by two parents, a mom and dad that were simple store owners of a family owned restaurant located in the middle of a small village.

Kanji had the normal raising of a child at first. School where he would learn academics; math, science, literature, history, and civic material. Working hard in his study before lending aid in work in the store that his parents’ owned once his chores and school work was done. In his free time he would be out and about amongst the other kids of the village playing around and having fun. Being a simple child.

However, one day the children got into a mischievous adventure with Kanji among them. Sneaking out in the middle of the night due to the whispering calls of something. It was a sweet welcoming voice that was also yet stern, intoxicating in its allure. Out they went in a daze, only the soft melody of a song carrying them as they walked into a lush field of grass. Then a flash, a star of light falling into the land causing a minor crash crater. With Kanji being hit in the center of it!

Miraculously, no one was killed. Not a single child was even hurt. Including Kanji. His body sitting upright in the crater with no dirt, cuts, or brushes on him. But something happened that night. Not just him but the other children of the village. A shift in their nature that was minor and somehow unnoticeable.
