Vex got a request to take on a sea monster that was plaguing an island and she knows that she needs to get it together and show the power of her goddess and take down the sea monster and maybe get some more followers aboard though her main focus is to get the followers to raise in Fiore and that is what she needs to focus on at this time and not about reaching this place just yet but a few followers here wouldn't hurt as well as she would need roots so that she may grow the following across the worlds and hope that she can give the world a new point of view about who they follow and who they want to be up against when the end times come and she fears that Morrigan will be the enemy that they will have to face from her own guild but with the passing of Odin she hoped that they would stop trying to mess with things that should not be messed with and she was gonna make sure that she gets ahead of it the best she can.

She walks along with her right hands to find the crew that the request paper said was going to be here to meet them, they walk down to the decks and they see a bunch of crews loading up their ships and preparing for what was ahead of them out there sea monsters pirates and other things that might cause them to be slowed down and not make and go as soon or as readily as they might like to be going rather it is lack of fish or if it is bad weather they need to be fully ready and fully at the ready in case there might be anything that needs to be done and saved for if it becomes the darkest days. She walks with her right hands by her side as they find the ship that was to take them out to hunt this sea creature and to help them against anything else that might come their way.

They get up onto the ship and the walk around the deck side stepping sailors working and moving heavy things so that they can get to the captain the captain is a younger looking woman of wood elf descent and she greets them and she was surprised that Vex was also a wood elf as well and she sees why that the woman had come highly recommended to her as she is probably finely trained and she sees the bow and dagger the woman is carrying and she knows that they look strong so she has no worries as to what she can do and how long that would last but she was not going to back down and she was gonna let the wood elf woman show her what she has got cause the sea is a rough place if you aren't ready to take it on with a firm gut and a strong head.

They get themselves into place for where they will be watching out for the trouble that might be coming their way. The crew gets themselves all ready and the ship sets sail out to hunt the big one and get some jewels in their pockets this will be the one that can be written down in the history books for them as they have never thought to take on such a think but with a mage and their helpers they think that they have a chance to take this monster down and free themselves from the dangers that had plagued their waters. This was a last stand for some of them before they retire from this life to settle and start their lives with their wives and take on their own stories an the ones that need them this last rush of excitement as the waves gently rocked the boat and it picks up speed toward the place they need to be at to find the monster.

Out from behind a giant rock like mountain a rival group of fishermen armed to the gills is there and they do not look happy to see them here and this is what they are looking to do start fighting for this hunting ground and this means that Vex and her right hands need to hold back a little and not kill them but still send them packing so they need to be non-lethal with them or it might just turn out to be a bad thing for them. Vex takes aim and she doesn't miss as she sets off a chain reaction with her shots making the rivals fall back onto their ship as they start firing at them and the chain mage makes a wall of chains to protect the crew and the other right hand jumps onto the enemy ship and she uses the blunt end of the sword to deal with them and they see that they are out of their depth and they scramble to get out of their way and the chain mage pulls the woman back onto their ship safely and the water starts getting turbulent around them.

The sea monster starts its assault on the crew ship it seems that the rivals had distracted them and this gave this beast an opening to attack them rather they knew they had or not was a mystery and they didn't have the time to be trying to solve it as everything needed to be solved about the problem that was baring down on them at that moment and Vex hurried and got herself back to a good spot to start firing her bow at this creature she figures because it is a creature of the water the arrows are only gonna do so much vs it and she was gonna have to make sure that she keeps on her toes to dodge it's counter attacks against her. He right hands are trying to reangle it to make it easier to kill and the crew starts helping as well as they hit it over and over with blasts and arrows as the right hand woman slashes it as the chain mage holds it in place as well as he can to make sure that it stays in place and after one more barrage of shots the beast goes down and they make sure it is attached to the ship and they get back into port and get their reward.
