If anything was bound to happen it was that Judith would eventually be going to try and learn more about her members, Old or new. In this case it is Judith starting to figure out. Dan was so far so new to Judith that she had to to figure out way to get to know the things he likes and enjoys. Thus they are now in that situation. The magical part of being an elf is you were very quiet on your feet, it was hard to track her sometimes. One of the days everything was a it more settled in Fairy Tail, Judith would be out of the kitchen anyone asking around the guild she had taken the day off of her normal kitchen duties.

She was watching out sight in the guild hall waiting for Dan. He was getting away from Judith have a personal day of talking and getting to know him, This was the fate of all Fairy Tail members just once. It was one of the expected things that she never told anyone.

There would be casual mentions of disappointment that Judith was not at her normal post, Even if the lingering transfer of her becoming guild master coming, She still found time to do her normal duty. It showed what member were use to the cycle of Judith being there on time and cooking things or just the casual drink already made for them there. But for now Judith was waiting for Dan to show up at some point.

Dan yawned as he walked down the streets of magnolia. The town was quiet today which as the town that housed the guild fairy tail this was a rarity. Dan walked down the paths and waves to all the people he passed by. As Dan has lived in magnolia all his life he was very familiar with most of the towns folk that inhabited the town. He smiled as he passed by a group of young children playing fairy tail mages and noded to the parents who watched their children closely. Dan always enjoyed being able to just walk around town and admire the beauty of it all. Since he became a mage of fairy tail he hadn't had as much time to just walk around and see the city.

Dan smiled as he finally reached the guild hall, as he stepped inside he watched his fellow guild members go about their days. Some preparing to leave on jobs and others sitting at the bar getting a meal or drink. Dan smiled and sat at the bar before he waved over the bartender "can I get a beer please" He asked with a smile as he sat back and relaxed.

So Dan with in Fairy Tail had just ordered a beer to it not really happening since no one else was around to serve, Not that Judith could not prepare for what had happen since well it was just how she was. But Judith would grab at least three bottles and walk over to where Dan was sitting."I am sure much like other casual drinks you have at least one you prefer."At least with three bottles for now, It would be some what the order in which Dan placed. After Judith sat next to him. She would just pull out a bottle opener and a glass."So I have to ponder, What kind of beer do you prefer?"It was a good starting question from Judith.

Dan was not completely engaged in a conversation by Judith. She had some other question but would take her time with it."And if you do not mind entertaining a few question for me, I would like a chance to have some feed back form you."This might seemed like simple guild master feed back work. So far Judith would not seem to be drinking herself, It would not ruled out if asked of her.

But for now she was not."After all much like food, Everyone has a taste in beer. Light,Dark,Amber. There are many options to choose."Yup it was a question about what he liked, For reference down the road so she could see about supplying it as she changed things around in terms of menu items. Hopefully Dan did not panic about this situation, Judith was harmless after all, At least to her own members that behaved but none of yet to really do anything too out of line as far as she knew.

Dan was awoken from his daydream by the sound of glass meeting the bar next to him. As Dan turned he was met with the site of the guild master Judith sitting next to him with three bottles of beer one light, one dark and one amber. Before Dan could say anything Judith began to ask if she could ask him a few questions like his favorite beer type to try to learn about him. This surprised Dan as he figured she would have much more important things to do then try to learn about a low rank mage like him. Though surprised he noded his head "umm sure master Judith what would you like to know?" Dan said as he gave her his full attention. It was then he remembered she had already asked the first question "oh right my favorite beer hmm well I guess it depends on the situation for day to day drinking I usually enjoy dark beer since it is better for you but  sometimes I will drink amber during a celebration." Dan answered with a smile. "So what else would you like to know master, I will try to answer as much as I can?"

So far so good, Judith seemed to keep these suggestions in mind, Even remarking."I will continue to keeping all three in stock then, since we never risk anything not running out in terms of drink."At least it seem so far still generally good intention, There was always the basic of things she did choose to go through for starting."And in terms the things I cook up in the kitchen I cycle what is made depending on feed back."This could be easy to guess to what she would be asking soon, But it gave a of insight to future items.

She would actually list off coming items."Example coming changed around next week for food ideas is aside from some basics are: Roast Beef, Pan fried fish, Chicken served with spinach and mushrooms in Alfredo sauce."So varying few items between but fairly basic, But it seemed she attempted to mix it up while keeping it simple for the most part."Is there anything in which you would like me to consider for next weeks list?"Everything had imput after all even if simple things so far. It was fairly good to have this knowing in advance so she could prepare.

Then well she would move into a few other questions that were maybe in a different light."Then well, for the more different part of conversation, I want to know more about you a bit more personally."Already having a grasp how the rest of the member where like it was fairly simple."What is your life outside of Fairy Tail?"It was simple and left a lot of room for input. "As well, Use this as a chance to ask me question, For these things are good to help understand one another."With that Judith would stop for the moment to let Dan enjoy his drink and think.

Dan smiled and listened to Judith list the foods she had planned for next week before responding "well I am not to picky with what I eat as long as it does not involve cauliflower as I find it bland and tasteless so I try to avoid it if I can as well as spicy things as I do not enjoy heat in large quantities." Dan replied to her before rubbing his chin "as for any ideas perhaps yakitori chicken and ice cream for dessert?" Dan finished with a smile as he looked towards his guild master.

Dan was glad he was beginning to feel more comfortable talking to Judith. He did not mean to appear so nervous but he was still new to the guild and did not expect to talk with the guild master one on one yet. As he slowly calmed down he answered her next question "As for me life outside the guild it is really nothing special I grew up here in magnolia with my parents listening to stories about fairy tail from my father so I have wanted to join the guild since I could barely walk let alone practice magic." Dan finished as he looked to Judith to ask his own question "so what made you want to join fairy tail?" Dan asked curiously as he knew everyone in the guild had there own reasons for being here whether it was Fame, Fortune, or just a sense of Family everyone was unique.

Judith not had a list of a things to keep track of, So she would reach out over to the counter, Where some one would assume she would brought a note pad or paper, A vine just quickly grew around her arm wrapped slightly around it like a spiralling snake, then returned with a note pad and a pen. To just seemingly fade away like it was never there to start with. She took note of the actual kind of things Dan had mentioned."I can manage to get Cauliflower to taste like something, But I have my own wonders of the trade."After all Judith might be the guild master, But she still did all of her normal tasks, Just had more of a workload with a few other things added in.

From small humble starting points it seemed at least, It was really after more simple then she expected from a few other people."Well, So far I guess my intended goal of Fairy Tail being considered good by the people, exists as I pictured it."Judith mentioned, That is how her heart was with in the guild, keeping the people of Magnolia happy and not the law and the overly large amount of other nations.

If there was something to be asked this one might be not as interesting."My starting with in Fairy Tail, entirely was not because I intended to be a working mage."She would add that in to start with."It is because I had free time when all three of my children left home. I needed to fill the time, So I asked then guild master Adriana to join for kitchen and cleaning duties."The job she still does even as guild master today, Almost like even if she was at the top so to say, it was the same thing form her. cook, drinks clean."It gave my husband a break from me being at home all of the time and bothering him."letting out a bit of a laugh about it.

Dan noded as Judith informed him that she could make cauliflower have a taste Dan was mildly sceptical but always said he would try anything once so he would give her the benefit of the doubt until he tried it himself. Dan listened silently as she told him about her reasons for joining fairy tail. He smiled as she explained that she had not joined intending to be a working mage but rather as a way to give her husband a break from being at home. Dan noded himself "yes I imagine my parents felt similarly when I told them I joined the guild since it would give them a break from my constant requests for training I admit I can get a bit much when it comes to learning magic." Dan finished with a bit of a blush on his cheeks as he chuckled embarrassed.

But it seemed it nice in the end to see and hear of Judith not being the only one, Even if that was expected to hear of other people would be that way."Keep in mind Dan, My children are most likely far older then you."She laughed about it slightly, because even then she could openly admit that she did not know Dan's age if it was brought up to him."I do not know your goals in life, But perhaps it is something you might not understand unless you become a parent yourself one day."By all means it was something she did bother her children about, but not anyone else.

Then again a good suggestion as always."Keep in mind, even if wanting to become a powerful mage, one must consider what other goals they have in life besides being a powerful mage, One goal easily leads to problems."But it was just a personal suggestion for him."Smaller goals to achieve over all time helps the soul remains pure."It was a bit ore figurative but Judith wanted to be sure it was kind of a point of saying it. But for now, Maybe it was time for Dan to speak a bit more currently.

Dan sat quietly as he listened to Judith speak to him and began to think about his goals. 'hmm she is right about needing more then one goal in life' Dan thought as he took a sip from his drink. Dan and never really thought much about the future before. His sole goal being strong enough to join fairy tail and be counted among it's numbers. Now that he had attained this where did he go from here? He could keep it simple and just have his goal to be a strong S rank mage and protect the guild. Or maybe aim higher and go for being the guilds Ace or Master or possibly even higher and try to be a wizard saint. Dan felt many questions begin to swirl in his head as he pondered Judiths words.

As he sat there thinking he continued to sip his drink and wonder what he wanted to do with his life. Shaking his head he decided this was not a question that he could answer without some more thought. Turning back to Judith he spoke "So master how has your time as the guild master been going?" He asked he he took a sip from his drink. Dan remembered the catastrophe that happened the day it was announced that Judith was taking over and hoped the rest of her time as master was better.

There could have easily been something pointed out by Judith but, Since it was never a question she never do point out anything with it that might cause pointless tension, Judith knew and understood how things were spoken could effect people at times. But keep in mind Judith was learning what Dan was like, So when there was not much about it mention she seemed to allow it to be blank she was not here interrogate him, Judith might be his guild master but she was not trying to seem so intimating, She was trying to be that guild master that you came to talk to with out worry.

Was it a good thing? Both yes and no, it was like trying to hide something from your mother. It  was a hard thing to do, you shouldn't but you had your reasons too."Oh is that your main worry of me Dan?"Judith seemed to laugh about it like she should have expected it, but had not in the end. But then again she was at least use to be being guild master.

But she would give maybe a rather insightful answer to Dan's wonder."My transition to Guild Master for the most part of has been seemingly gone well with out problem."It was a stock answer sure, but there was always at times a chance to understand a some what of a deeper meaning with things."I am still not yet use to being the guild master entirely."So this was the thing to pick up on, her being guild master might have been simple but the problems seemed to have been something to happen internally with Judith."You spend so many years watching each leaf get blown away by the wind, You do not get use to being the tree was holds them all at times."Was it a simple way of stating it? no, But it was a Judith way of answering it."I was far too use to just cooking food, serving drinks to Kazimir and the previous guild master before him..That the entire idea of being at the head of the table...is strange."It was a good chance to see that Judith might be able to manage but was still unsure of herself.

Still she summed it up just to make sure."So I would say well, Even with my own doubts in mind because of old habits."At least she felt that answer was fitting in the end for now.

Dan listened as Judith spoke to him as he continued to nurse his drink. She had definitely changed his view on a few things today and Dan was certainly going to remember this conversation for a long time. "To be completely honest I never really thought about what I would do after I joined fairy tail." Dan said before taking another drink "For so long that was the goal I had spent so much time and energy on that I never really considered what came after you know? I mean obviously I want to get stronger to help the guild anyway I can but my end goal? Do I want to just be a S rank mage? Do I want to try for something higher like a wizard saint? Questions like these never really crossed my mind before." Dan said as he looked at Judith once more.

Dan sighed for a moment before continuing "You know growing up I heard so many stories about this place it almost didn't seem real. I mean obviously I knew it was real but the way my father spoke about it? The sense of belonging and camaraderie that you feel from it almost seemed well not to good to be true but almost magical if you forgive the pun." Dan said before smiling and drinking again "I don't know what I'll be in five, ten or even twenty years but I do know where I'll be and that's right here in this guild doing everything I can to help those who need it." Dan said as he continued to slowly drink.

There was something about how Judith took Dan's wonder that showed maybe Judith could give good answer and logical ones, But she had wanted to guide people in other ways."As the wind catches leaves or seeds to fly, You can not help but wonder where they will land for that path is never for sure in life." Did it make sense with his wonder? Not entire up front, But that was the point."Your answer will never be just right in front of you Dan, as the answer is one you need to learn through trial, error and fate's calling."But at least Judith made it more clear, For she would still make sure it worked to be understood.

As for the wonder of Fairy Tail, Judith had to ponder if maybe she was linked to that, Or some one else long before her with in the guild."Consider the entire idea of know naught will happen an entire reason to press forward."It was maybe a better generally idea she would push forward without being too annoying with it."the world before you is an magical place once you step beyond Magnolia."Then again maybe this was just general encouragement.
