Emil got a request that called him to an island to handle a sea monster now that was a change from the normal for Emil, he has brought his wife and his attendant with him, he has no idea how this is gonna or how it is gonna work but Holly leads them to the dock and she talks to people and she finds them a ride and a crew of people that look very unsure of Emil for the most part. But they seemed they will be fine as long as Holly and Fina keep him on a short leash as they thing he is more likely to sink them then to help them stay afloat out here in the waters but they know the waters well and they can help him and the two women find the creature and hopefully they are equipped enough to help him to fight it or keep it busy while they fight it.

They do have a warning for them as well before they are to set sail as they are unsure if the monster is alone but they had heard reports of it having a mate so they would probably have to be swift and deal with the monster before the mate is alerted to the fighting or they will have a even bigger fight on their hands and it will not end up pretty for either side of the coin and they rather not get sunk cause this man lead them both in and the ship is having to fight on two fronts instead of one front. This has a decent potential to go wrong for them and himself but Emil just smiles and waves off their worries as he has no doubts that he can handle it without the ship having to go down and it is gonna be fine no matter the danger and the time it takes Emil has full belief in himself and the power that is in his heart to make this real.

They finally set sail once the crew had finally gotten all the extra stuff they figured they were gonna need for this trip that very well may be their last that they ever really undertake but they were not gonna just give up they would be facing a very decent win fall if they were to make it through this and they hook the sea monster but even more so if they get both of the creatures in one go as they would be loaded and ready to retire almost from the amount of jewels they could get here from helping this bone headed mage and the two woman to catch the creature and to help means they as a crew will maybe get better chances at jobs and orders to come rolling in as the crew that helped them catch the monster that was terrorizing the sea. Emil wasn't really paying attention to them he was looking at the water.

He wondered what this creature must look like and be capable of that there is such a high price on it's head he was more interested in seeing the creature then he was to get paid for this job as he was always looking to challenge himself and be far stronger as he knows he can truly be but he is kind of scared as well that this will not all work out and he will be left to suffer alone as he watches those around him die because he is too weak to make a difference and to protect them, that is one of his greatest fears that he fails to be the strongest him he can be, some would say it is his ego others a will that feels hindered and he needs to find this hidden middle ground between the two before it is too late and it comes and it kills him with self doubt that he is drowning in.

The crew seem to be stirring around a bit he wonders if that means they are getting close or if maybe they are starting to just get restless from having to wait so long to see if he will be able to fight it and their life is in the balance so he figures that they will be extra antsy for a bit cause they do not trust him yet as he is not the type of hero they are looking to save them as he is big but he is not the monster that you would think would be the hero of this story and he looks like he will just sink into the water but that is not the whole truth he is gonna electrify the water and try to fry the sea monster like he thinks he can do but he doesn't think it will work at a super long range so he is gonna have to do what he does best and go face to face with it and berserker it up and teach it a last lesson for the life time it lived.

Emil thinks he sees the water getting a bit risky in front of them but the crew is not changing course and he wonders if this might have just been a set up and he had fallen for it hook line and sinker and the boat then moves to safety perfectly, he has to admit he thought they were going down and he will take them more serious as a crew from here on out but in that moment there he only was thinking about himself and he hadn't worried much for his wife and the attendant as they are together so they would have been fine he thinks, but why was he having these thoughts of just himself and not all of them as the same amount of worth that is what scared him there. They get close to a set of cove areas in the deep sea and the crew seems to get even more frenzied which means that they must be super close to it.

He hears one of the crew in the crows nest yell out that he had seen the creatures that were in need of hunting and Emil makes sure his gear is on firmly so he doesn't lose anything to the bottom of the waters cause he was not looking to go deep sea diving for anything that he might lose here and he runs to the front of the boat and he has them aim their harpoons so they can at least be able to tell where the creature had went even if it dives under the water. Emil is not nervous just hopes that he will look cool while he takes it down and he makes the swiftest of runs and he jumps off of the boat and he swims toward the creature without even a second thought or saying anything to Holly or Fina, he just hauled ass and flew off the boat for the swim.

Holly is pissed about this turn of events this is not how he should be acting or doing things and she was gonna make sure that he doesn't forget just cause they are married doesn't mean she has become fangless if she crossed him. Fina was not really surprised by the fact that Emil thoughtlessly just dove in the water without saying anything he has always been impulsive and he liked to handle things on his own as the harpoons fire off into the creature it lets out a wailing cry and now they were fighting against the clock to take this thing down. Emil is on the large scaly creature and it was not happy to  have him as a rider of it, it thrashes and tries to roll but the harpoons with ropes are stopping it from doing so and Emil takes this time to hit this creature with his gauntlets binding and hindering it's movements.

The worst happens and the mate shows up as Emil finished off the main creature and  he if thrown into the air and he is bit into looking like he is dead, Holly started crying heavily as she keeps trying to heal him but nothing is happening, a bolt of lightning hits Emil and he awakes very pissed off and he starts hitting the mate that had shown it's face and he was nearly a different person in that moment and he is full on hitting this creature for all he is worth and the creature is starting to go limp but Emil doesn't stop and the crew pull it in and he stops but he doesn't look his team mates in the eye as he had effectively gotten himself killed and he knew he was not gonna hear the end of it from the two of them but they just hugged him and are glad that he is not dead and that he had gotten back to them, and they go back to port with the crew and they get paid their cuts and then they head for a place to rest and recover.
