Ianthe picked up her third pint of beer, downing it in nearly four gulps before smashing the sturdy wooden cup down on the table. She was having a great time watching the women dance and sing, while two men fought in the corner. She could get used to a place like this, smiling a small smile as she waved the barkeeper over to fill up her cup. Ianthe almost didn't notice the tall violet haired woman walk in but who was she kidding how could she not notice her? She was gorgeous but such a fine woman with such a dead look on her face and in her eyes did not suit the goddess who walked in. As luck would have it the mystery woman sat down next to Ianthe and ordered four shots of something she called " To burn her insides and her memories That didn't sound good at all.
" Must of have been really bad to wanna burn it outta ya mind huh? She opened the floor for conversation, maybe talking about it will help release some of that sadness from this lovely lady.

She was for the lack of a better word, tired. Her day couldn't possibly get any worse and she just wanted it all to stop. Seika always said drinking didn't solve anything but she didn't want anything solved anyway she just wanted to forget. It was a good thing then that liquor was just the job for that and copious amounts of it would in fact get the desired results. Instead of the usual bar, she went to one that seemed to be located in a more slummy part of town. She'd just die if she had to face Seika again and she didn't know if she wanted to do that any time soon. Walking into the bar she took a seat next to a rather stunning looking woman. Hitomi didn't swing that way but if she did she'd like to be with someone who looked like that. Once she ordered her drinks the woman asked her a question, one brought on by the number of drinks she bought no doubt. All Hitomi could do was down two of them and shake her head. " You don't know the half of it..."

She was blessed with a response though of course not one she was hoping for. Downing her fourth beer Ianthe called over for some wine, she was in the mood for something sweet and perhaps so was this woman. Of course, she didn't know half of how bad whatever it was this woman was going through, hell she didn't even know the first thing about it. With a response like that she began to get curious and poured herself some wine when the waiter dropped the bottle but not before a warning that she should start paying her tab soon which she had racked up a pretty penny of. Well why don't we start at the beggning. At least then I'll get a little piece of the half of it right? Smiling at the woman as she poured another glass of wine for her, Ianthe hoped this would be enough for the two to talk.

After downing that harsh shit she could use something to smooth it out, so with a nod she accepted the glass and began to sip it. The taste was so nice and she wondered what the price point was on this bottle. Looking at the glass she swirled it around and she took another sip before looking over at the girl. " I stabbed my sun god of a lover in the back when we were fighting off a rune knight who wanted to take me to jail...."

Ianthe didn't know what to expect. Her face took too much of a sudden shift before she could stop it but it wasn't so noticeable as to be called surprise but that's exactly what it was. Pulling out her bag of jewels she set it on the table and paid her tab. Let's go somewhere and talk more, I have a feeling ya got alot to get off yer chest. Don't worry I'm no harm to you, I can tell you aren't a lady I'd wanna get into a tussle with Standing up and grabbing the bottle she led the way to the door, if she followed good if she didn't then she'd try again.

Not knowing what to think but not thinking she would grab the girl's attention so easily, Hitomi laughed a bit before nodding her head. She had nothing much to lose so she took the bait this lady set out. Who knows where this night could go and with the state, Hitomi was in she didn't care as long as she could forget about the past events that have happened. Downing the rest of the win in her cup she paid her own tab and thanked the barkeeper before following the girl out of the bar. Before she knew it they were chatting, talking, and laughing through the warm Baska streets. The stress melted away as they took sips out of the wine bottle that seem to never empty. She didn't know when the sun started to rise but looking over at the woman who she learned was named Ianthe, she could tell that she was gonna have a good sleep.
