After spending the whole day on the house tour and also after she took some training tests, she finally called it a day. After she split up with Mikihisa and got back to her room, she saw some servants were already there waiting in front of her room with her dinner ready to be served. As Achlys walks into her room, some servants follow her in and bring the food prepared for her in. They prepared the table and set up and then they served dinner on the table for Achlys to enjoy. As they walk out the room they bow to Achlys before they actually out from that room. ”Wait, I want to thank you all for the dinner. If any one of you can wake me up early in the morning tomorrow, I will really appreciate that.” said Achlys. “Yes Miss, we will arrange it. May we leave now?” ”Yes you may leave, thank you.”
As all the servants leave her room, Achlys finally sits on the table and starts enjoying her dinner. After a really long day of tour house and test training, she can finally enjoy a meal. To think about it now, she just took 6 training tests in total, in one day that must be a big number. Not just that, she took all those 6 training tests while also taking a tour around the house guided by Mikihisa, so it’s like she uses all of her energy in one day. Tonight she will really need a good rest because tomorrow her training will finally start plus early in the morning she needs to meet Mikihisa to find out about the result from today's test. From that result she will also know which training she will have to take and what test she passed just fine. She will need to clean herself now that she finished her dinner.
Before she goes to bed and takes the rest she really needs, she decides that she has to clean herself and take a nice warm bath like how she always did. The purpose of this clean up is first, she can get relaxed by the warm water before going to rest. The second reason is that on the next morning, she doest have to prepare herself in a rush since the preparations are already being prepared the night before. She really enjoyed her dinner earlier, and the warm bath she took helped her to feel relaxed and loosen some stiff muscles on her body because of the training test earlier. Now she’s finally ready for bed and once she lays down, she falls asleep in no time because her relaxed body is totally ready for sleep. A good rest is something she really needs, and to have her energy recharged for the next training is something she can’t afford to fail.
When she wakes up the next morning, she’s really excited to find out her training test result from yesterday. It should be announced during the lunch meeting today, but she can’t wait that long so she quickly changes her dress and walks toward the door in her room. She opens the door only to be shocked again by some servants standing in front of the door waiting for her. Her second day here and she is still shocked by that. “Good morning Miss, would you like your breakfast to be prepared now?” Ask the servant to Achlys. ”You can do that, up to you. I need to find Mikihisa now, do any of you see him this morning? I need to know my training test result soon, I can’t wait for the lunch meeting or I might die because of my curiosity.” “I remember seeing him earlier near the karesansui garden of the main building this morning. Maybe he’s still there, he likes that spot a lot.”
Hearing the answer from that servant, Achlys says her thanks and starts walking to the karesansui garden on the main building of Kyoyama Family house. When she arrives there she can see Mikihisa and some of his assistants are there talking and looking a little bit serious about their conversation. Scared she might interrupt their conversation, Achlys patiently waiting for them to finish. It’s hard for her to hold her curiosity and try to calm down, but she’s able to do just fine until Mikihisa is finally down with his conversation. ”MIKIHISA! FINALLY, I NEED TO KNOW MY TRAINING TEST RESULT FROM YESTERDAY. I CAN’T WAIT ANY LONGER.” Achlys shouted at Mikihisa because of her excitement right after Mikihisa finished his conversation. “Miss Achlys, you have to patiently wait for the lunch meeting. Master Getsu has the result of your training test and he will be the one that announces it to you during the meeting.” Mikihisa responds to her over excitement.
”Come on, I can’t wait that long or I might die because of my own curiosity if I have to wait that long. I know you know my test result, so please spill it” “I really can’t Achlys. There are rules and plans that I need to follow. So go back and enjoy your breakfast. You have time until the lunch meeting to do what you want, but after the lunch meeting your first day of training will start.” Said Mikihisa to Achlys. ”Fine, guess there’s nothing I can do to make you tell me about my test result.” Said Achlys while she started to leave the place and heading back to her room. As she walks closer to her room, Achlys sees the servants standing in front of her room but without the food that they had earlier, means that the food already inside her room served as her breakfast. As she walks into her room, the servants bow to her.
Inside her room, she can see the food on top of the table served well like the previous day, but she’s not really in the mood for breakfast and she still can’t stop thinking about the lunch meeting. She still can’t calm down and wait for the time to come, her curiosity is killing her. But there is nothing she can do, she doesn't want to put Mikihisa in trouble by breaking the rules for her. She decided to take a relaxing bath in warm water to calm down. Because of that, she can calm down a little bit, plus the relaxed feeling makes her lazy to move. She decided to close her eyes and take extra rest instead of worrying too much about the training test result, until finally the time for lunch meeting is almost here. She dried herself and got dressed for the lunch meeting. It's still too early but she doesn’t want to be late to the meeting so she decided to go to the meeting room now and just wait there.
As she arrives at the meeting room, she sees the entire room is still empty and no one is there. But not so long after that some servants open the door and walk in with some tables and pillows. They are supposed to prepare the meeting room during this time but they’re surprised that Achlys is already in that meeting room. Notice that she will disturb this servant's job, she walks out the room and patiently waits in front of the room. Some other servants then start coming with the food for the lunch meeting, and they bring so many kinds of food, more than what she can imagine. One by one, those servants walk into the room and put the food on the table that was prepared by the previous group of servants. While Achlys is focus looking at them, Master Getsu walk closer to the room and his presence instantly take Achlys’s focus away from the servants, looking at Master Getsu and immediately bow a little.
”Why did I bow a little to him, that’s not even necessary. I don’t even feel like part of this family, but it seems like my brain and my body is naturally doing that stuff. Weird.” Think Achlys while she raises her head back up. “I didn’t expect to see you here as the first person to come, especially when it’s not even time to be here yet.” Said Master Getsu as he stood next to Achlys looking at the servants still preparing the room for the meeting. “Everyone in this house is always on time, since they all trained for that. But no one ever comes earlier than me at any meeting or eating time. But you surprised me in a good way and I hope the training test result I have with me will also surprise you in a good way.” Said Master Getsu while all Achlys can do is to keep her calm and try to be patient and wait for the meeting to start.
When all the servants walk out of the room, one of them in a different uniform stops next to Master Getsu and whispers something to his ear. After that, Master Getsu invited Achlys to get into the meeting room and wait for the others in that room since it’s still a few minutes until the exact time for the lunch meeting. “Let’s wait until the time comes, I believe you’re trying hard to hold your excitement right now.” Says Master Getsu while he walks into the meeting room, followed by Achlys. As they get inside the room, Master Getsu sits right in a place that looks like it was prepared specifically for him. It’s right in the middle of the table, with some extra pillows compared to the others, and also has some kind of a backrest that makes his seat look kind of like a throne. Being confused about where she has to sit, Achlys just stands there for a while, until Master Getsu points his finger to the seat right next to him.
“Sit here right next to me. You’re the one from my bloodline so you have the highest position in this family right after my leadership. You also have the biggest chance to be the next head of the Kyoyama Family if something ever happens to me, so sit here and get used to this kind of thing.” Order Master Getsu to Achlys. It’s just like what Mikihisa told her earlier, the blood of Master Getsu is flowing inside Achlys and that puts Achlys in a higher position compared to the other Kyoyama Family members because she is basically the heir of Master Getsu. Maybe one day Achlys will be the one that has to lead the Kyoyama Family if something bad ever happens to Master Getsu. So Achlys follows his order and she sits right next to Master Getsu, both of them are waiting for other people to come to the meeting.
One by one the others start to come and fill the room. Master Getsu was right, the Kyoyama Family member is never late. Slowly the room starts to be filled with people until the last person comes at the exact time for the lunch meeting to start. Some people are staring at Achlys and look at her from the tip of her toe all the up to the tip of her horns. They seem a little bit confused to see someone they don’t really know sitting next to the head of the Kyoyama Family during lunch meetings. “I WILL START THIS LUNCH MEETING AND I WILL HAVE SOME ANNOUNCEMENT AT THE END OF THE MEETING. ENJOY YOUR LUNCH!” and right after Master Getsu finishes his sentence, the servants close the door of the meeting room and all of them start serving and plating food for everybody in that room based on the guest’s request.
Everyone in that room seems to enjoy the meal during the lunch meeting except for Achlys because she’s still worried and curious about her training test result that will be one of the announcements at the end of this lunch meeting. But everyone is having a good time enjoying the food including Achlys, until Master Getsu calls for attention and says something. “Listen up everyone, today I’ll give you some announcement starting with our shield barrier that has been upgraded and can now take several more damage than before. The next announcement is that our scout group just came back from exploring and they have some exciting news to share with me for more discussion later. Some of you might be called for that meeting depending on the need of our discovery. Now I want to introduce all of you to someone, some of you might already know here, but for the others I like to introduce Achlys. She’s my granddaughter, the daughter of Kimiko, and also the current holder of the Sphere of Chordeva.”
The last sentence makes everyone in the room look shocked, including Achlys. “She took the training test yesterday, and I have the result in my hand. She passed most of the training but 3, Spirit Will, Magic Creativity and Meditation. Those three plus the one will be her training from now on until it’s time for us to see the result of her training, and I won’t be the one who decides that, but like the tradition goes it will be Chordeva herself. And that will be all for today, you can still enjoy your lunch but the meeting is over. Thank you all for coming.” After that last word, Master Getsu walks out the room with no other words. Achlys spontaneously follows him out, and she doesn't even know why she did that. Outside the room she sees Master Getsu walks away from the room, and when she is about to follow him, she’s stopped by Mikihisa. He asked to talk to her for a while.
He explains that he will be the one that gives her the test and will be the judge as well, and her first training will be Spirit Will training. She will have to fast for the next 5 days starting now, and since lunch is her last meal, the test starts right after she leaves the room. You must be joking right?! 5 days?! And what if I fail? “You will have to redo it from day one, or you will never get to the next training session.” Hearing what Mikihisa said, Achlys got on fire. Not only because she is excited for the next training session, but also because she doesn't want to do the fasting for more than 5 days. And after that day, she gets even harder work assigned to her everyday. She even got the job to buy food ingredients at the market and also a job to help prepare food for everyone in that house. But those temptations are not strong enough to make her fail. After 5 days, she can finally say that she made it, and the next meal she eats after passing the test is probably the whole portion for 5 people.
