Nat was hearing word of a similar issue he had resolved prior returning to rear it's ugly head. His blobby friend was likely up to no good again and with the amount of fish decreasing substantially over the course of the last few days. He had just returned to the city from Baska, after a misdirected trip through Oak City but was matter was he was back to solve the problem once more. Having already proven himself once, the note was left specifically for him, while not a big name it was great to see he had built some rapport with the members of his Guild city.

He again stepped foot onto the sandy shores of the island nearest the cove and watched with a faint smile as he saw a blobby figure peaked at him from around the corner of the cove before running off into in the dark depth.

Guess it was just him again.

Nathaniel kept his eyes on the cave entrance, walking slowly towards it with silent confidence, the darkness swallowing his small frame as he peeked and observed the subtle differences. "Better lights?" He asked, lanterns now hanging where the candles were, better illuminating his little alcove a bit brighter than before, but not enough to combat the shadows around him. As he became reilluminated by the soft lights, he noticed a now deeper alcove and a small pond sat in the center of the space. Nathaniel's blobby friend could be seen pouring fish into it as he sat above it.

Nathaniel pulled a crate over and sat atop it, looking at the fish he just smirked. "I like the new pad." He commented, "But why all the new fish?" He asked, the inky cretin refusing to make eye contact before informing Nathaniel He was sure he wouldn't be back to see him.

Nathaniel and his blobby friend actually had a full conversation. Nathaniel brought him up to speed about his trip to Baska and everything he accomplished while he was there, he did 5 separate quests, collected two new contacts and helped kick someone's butt in a tournament. The fish seemed in awe over Nat's adventures before admitting he did begin over fishing again thinking Nathaniel would never return to spend time with him. For that, the mage apologized, that was never his intention and he had reaffirmed the fishy friend he would be back after every adventure to let him know what he's been up to just like he did today. Plus, while he was in the city he would stop by as frequently as he could, however Nathaniel didn't seem like much of a home body if he was being honest.

The fish happily agreed, allowing Nathaniel to take a large number of the stolen fish back to the city on his small boat. Again Nathaniel was like to speculate as to what he could have done differently here, he didn't have an address for letters nor did he particularly seem like the kind to write back. Maybe one day Nat could find a more permanent solution, but for now the fish had been returned.
