"Oh, and look at this one." Zane turned the page of his old-ass notebook as Beelzebub noted all the little details that were scribbled down. Zane lay on his bed right now in a small little room on the 169th floor of the tower. He quite liked the view from up here. "...Can these really be considered drawings?" Beelzebub asked in disbelief. Zane scoffed. "The hell do you mean?" Zane switched from talking inside his mind to talking out loud. His finger slammed down on a certain drawing that was scribbled on these pages well over a year ago. "That's a cat, dumbass fly."

"Oh. Yes. Of course..." Beelzebub wasn't in the mood for another one of their old married couple-esque arguments. Zane flipped the page once again, this time displaying a list of names, numbers and a large title at the top reading Top Ten Hottest Girls in Fiore. Zane chuckled to himself, his eyes scanning the list. "This one's definitely really outdated." Beelzebub didn't seem quite as interested. "Do you actually get any practical use out of this book, Zane? Or is it filled only with the exact same garbage that litters your mind?"

Offended, Zane puffed up his cheeks a little. "Hmph. Check this out." His hands immediately flipped through well over a hundred pages of the fat notebook, eventually ending up on an extremely detailed recipe. Beelzebub seemed genuinely impressed at all the thought that went into this particular page. "I've got hundreds of these. Like this one..." Zane flipped to a recipe for macaroni and cheese. He would often make this while he worked at a diner in Baska. "Or this one..." Zane flipped to the page after that. A beautifully illustrated plate of ratatouille was adorned on the page, as well as extremely detailed instructions on the right. It really did seem as though Zane's true talent was cooking. "A real shame you left that business."

Zane proudly chuckled to himself once again. "And just wait until you see this o-" Zane tried to flip the page... but there was no page. Inbetween two different items there was a noticeable tear. "Huh?" Zane immediately sat up on his bed, looking through the nearby pages just to see if he was mistaken. It was definitely gone. Where did his favorite recipe go? Did it get lost? Was it stolen? "Oh, wait!" A small lightbulb quickly flashed above the man's head, a smile brought onto his face. "I gave it away to this one girl. Snowflake was her name, I think." Beelzebub let out a deep sigh of disappointment. "Yet again you ruin your life for the sake of attempting to sleep with some random woman..."

"Relaaaaaax." Zane calmly said, closing his eyes and exhaling a little bit as he sorted out his thoughts. "I can make that recipe by memory anyways." Unlike many things that came out of Zane's mouth, this particular boast was by no means a bluff. Before doubling down on being a mage Zane was one of the best chefs in the entire country, though his shyness at the time meant that his name wasn't really widely known. Most people wouldn't recognize him nowadays anyways - he was an elf back then, after all. "I don't believe you. Prove your words for once. Zane didn't exactly have anything better to do.

Getting off his bed, Zane approached the elevator to the tower. After pressing the button to summon it he ended up waiting a whole 3 minutes for it to arrive - this was kind of a downside to having a multi-hundred floor tower. Stepping inside, Zane's finger perused the absolutely massive list of buttons, squinting his eyes as he read the little labels under each one. "Kitchen, kitchen..." He said to himself a few times, trying to find the one that he was looking for. After a solid minute of browsing he finally happened to catch it in the corner of his eyes, pressing down on the button almost immediately in relief. This guild hall was a pain.

The kitchen floor of the tower was really, really nice. Wischtechian technology was quite advanced. Zane hadn't really gotten a chance to become too acquainted with it however: this place was one of the very few in Fiore where you could find this kind of tech in use. Zane put on his dark green apron as he prepared to wash his hands... but then a thought came into his mind. Why not invite his other guildmates to watch? They'd all certainly be impressed by his cooking skills. Approaching a small intercom on the southern wall of the room, Zane pressed it as he spoke out in his loud, cheerful voice. "If any of the fine ladies of Eternal Nightmare want to watch Fiore's best chef at work, head down to the kitchen floor. Some real magic is going on in here." Backing away from the intercom after his message, Zane stopped and thought to himself. Just the ladies? Their guild didn't exactly have many members, and most of them probably weren't even here. Perhaps he should make the guys feels welcome too... "...And the dudes can come too, I guess." He reluctantly added.

Now that his potential audience was successfully advertised to, Zane got to work on his favorite (and best) dish: Cassoulet.
