Aleksandr Sokolov
Another day, another chore. Aleksandr was on the up and up in his adventures, and life in general. He didn't want to stop any time soon, believing he had a lucky streak going on. Considering that it would be best for him to start with undemanding work and gradually work his way up to the upper echelons of the magical world, and he might pick up something useful along the way that might be of help in his later when he will be doing much more demanding quests. These tasks required comparatively less effort and while the pay could be better, it was alright. He was going to check the request board today for he needed less eccentric jobs, and what better way to find dull and boring jobs than at the request board? The work usually proved trivial. Which was just optimal for the situation. He was hoping he didn't run into anything out of the ordinary, but it wasn't a requirement.

'Hmm, dumb and monotonous, all of them.' he thought, browsing through the different fliers nailed on to the wood. 'Might as well pick at random.' he closed his eyes, raised his hand onto the board, and snatched the first flier that came off.

'Help needed fishing. Meet me at the western docks, at 8 AM, Tuesday. Look for blue-hair. My name is Jacob Fischer.'

He looked at a clock near the board, which said quarter to eight. So he had just about fifteen minutes to arrive at the docks in time for the sailing. He took off, not wanting to waste more time gawking at the flier. There will be time enough for that later.

Aleksandr was wearing running grey shorts, as the day proved particularly hot. Apart from that, his 'outfit' consisted of a plain white cotton t-shirt and slippers. Nothing too peculiar or eye-catching. It was probably best of him to keep it simple. He was not looking for any unwanted attention, only fair payment. He reached the docks around five minutes before the clock struck eight. Power-walking. It didn't take much searching to find the man, for he saw one already being loaded.

"Hey!" he exclaimed, as loud as possible, so the blue-haired boy would hear him. Jacob turned around, and Aleksandr stuck out the flier on his right hand. He didn't need to say much after that. He helped the boy load his equipment onto the boat and sat down. After they had begun to row the boat, he asked "So, what do you need me to help you with?" the blue-haired boy looked at him, with a glittery spark in his eyes. "You're going to help me catch fish. Magical fish. With My MAGICAL BAIT!" he shouted, beaming. "Magical bait, huh?" Aleksandr said, unimpressed. He almost feared the boy had been scammed. "You'll see." the boy said. After some rowing, they stopped in the middle of the water, and the boy tied the bait to the hook, thrusting it into the water. "You grab this, I'll keep the boat steady." he said, handing the fishing pole to Aleksandr without any word or taking his consent. Soon enough, Aleksandr felt a pull. The pull only grew stronger with each passing second, and soon a struggle ensued. Aleksandr pulled the fishing pole towards him and the leviathan of a fish onto his boat with all his might. The fish was almost as big as his upper body, and he had to grab it with both bands to keep it from splashing away, and even punch it. Soon enough, the fish ceased to struggle and lay there lifeless. "Bingo," Jacob said. Aleksandr sighed and pushed the fish aside onto the container in the boat. They then rowed the boat back to the docks, Alek collected his reward and went on his way.
