After a small snack in the afternoon, Masami ventured to Crimson Quarters alone. They didn't expect that he would be able to go there, simply because he was a kid, but he did for the sake of this request. He was by the entrance, waiting for his companion, whom wasn't exactly introduced nor told to Masami, but he was asked to wait for them because he wasn't allowed to venture in the Crimson Quarters alone as an underage. Not that they were looking down on Masami (they were, but at least they were trying to hide it), but it was because they cared for the child's innocence and purity, that they asked for someone else to guard him before continuing on with the request. He kept the vision of the ourobouros emblem in his memories, even without holding onto the note that was shown to him a while ago. Now, Masami was stuck at the entrance of Crimson Quarters by daylight, because people would sooner or later attempt to call the boy's parents either way, because apart from looking feminine, Masami looks like a kid. There's no other way around it. He shall suffer the consequences of looking young and child-like.

Kurisa played with her new brown hair that had blonde streaks in it. It symbolizes the fact that all darkness has light as her eyes were also dark and light. The blue and brownish-red she will have to get used to. To be fair it was her magic that caused it, not her personality or anything. She leaned over the counter to put on some maroon lipstick with some gloss cover. She was doing a mini-mission with her son today. The weird hair guy wanted them to work together over this case. She forgot the exact details until she gets there.

She wore a sundress with some flats for shoes today. The wind felt good once she left the building to meet him where he was. To the Crimson Quarters, she was going as that was where most if not all the crime was located. Her eyes traced all the people that was gazing at her and then towards the direction where she was supposed to go. Was it because there was someone also waiting for her? Could it be her son? She hurried over as she was hoping he was alright. She knew people knew him enough, but she had to make herself a new name so they know better. After her death, people forgot about her, she was not really known anymore. Finally, her eyes caught sight of Masami and smiled calmly.

"Uwah—Mother Kuri..." mumbled Masami in surprise, not expecting the presence of his own (adoptive-biological) mother, swinging his arms backwards in surprise. She would definitely chuckle at how silly Masami looked, as he didn't want Kurisa to assume that he was staying outside Crimson Quarters in order to do something naughty or suspicious. He pointed at her with a finger and uttered, "Y-You're... going to accompany me in this quest?" he was still in doubt. Could it be that Kurisa was also going to do some 'things' in Crimson Quarters? Why would she even be here?! Masami's cheeks flushed in a red hue, mentioning the word "quest" just so that Kurisa wouldn't think that her son was doing anything dubious behind her back. Everybody knows that Hosenka's deeper areas consists of many sins, and for Masami being an underage boy (with an appearance of that of a girl, even), anyone would doubt unto what sort of business he may have in this location. He knew that he'd be kicking some butt, however, but would Kurisa even like to hear that her own son is doing some gangster business 'round here? Looks like someone is going to get grounded if they do not choose their words correctly.

She got closer to about five feet away from him. Masami seemed to be surprised to see her there. Was he doing something he should not be doing? No, he was a good boy, right? Yeah, he had to be since he seemed so pure when she met him. There was always darkness within the pure and good ones though. She had to put herself out there as an example. He saved himself when he talked about a mission. She assumed the same one she was going for too. Her arms crossed as her eyes gave him a sturdy look, wondering what he could be thinking about.

"I am.~ I have to keep working no matter what. Helping people on the way is good." She giggled sweetly with an instant smile towards her son. They walked together then as she motioned her hand for him to follow. They had to go to some den, beat some guys up probably. Slowly, she walked inside and saw a bunch of men; some smoking cigars, some drinks, a few doing both and all talking. It was more of them eyeing each other, but once they walked in it was all towards them. "I suppose we need to start something." She giggled and went over to one of the gambling tables with a bunch of dirty men.

This boy was never the type to be the first one to start a fight. He followed Kurisa after sighing at her statement—it was a sigh of relief, too. Ever since they earned some contact with the men in the gambling tables, both Masami and Kurisa had already earned different opinions and first impressions. Both of them were good-looking and had a reputation, so it would be expected that some of their targets would immediately recognize Masami and Kurisa simply by gazing at their hair strands. Although most of them were into physical fights than thinking before acting out, at least a small circle of them approached the mother and the son, weapons held in their hands. "What, you came here for a mission? Gon' beat us up?" one said in Joyan, which Masami understood fully.

He pulled Kurisa's shoulder, pulling himself up for a whisper, apparently translating what he said. "It seems like they already guessed what we're up to..." he uttered, then pulled away, realizing that as the others relay the message, they had already started to surround Masami and Kurisa in a circle. Looks like they weren't so dumb, after all, but that also leaves Masami no choice but to fight back.

They had to go start something, anything, but it seemed that they were ahead of them. As the two walked in and towards the table, a rather large man stood up and spoke Joyan mainly towards Masami. Her son came and whispered to him that they expected it which was the only way she understood. The others that were in the building gazed at them as if they wanted to beat up Masami and violate her in front of him. It was like some twisted hentai that most people would watch yet hide about it. Super strange, but Kurisa wasn't going to have that.

"Are you threatening me and my son?" She glared, X rank fears sheared through everyone within the building as her eyes shined a golden color. He stepped back as he fell onto the chair, hurting himself. "W-what do you want from us?" He spoke in wavering words. She was glaring at them all, most people left as they were afraid. She was not someone to mess around with if you were lower-ranked. Swiftly, she flipped her hair and put her hand on her hip. "Masami?" She nodded him ahead to go ahead and be the speaker on this one.

That man said something, and Masami had almost forgotten that they were speaking in Joyan, meaning Masami had to translate that one once more. "Oh, he was asking what we wanted from them." uttered Masami back to Kurisa, then he chuckled at himself. "What if we said we wanted a fight?" wasn't that what the quest was all about, beating some thugs from around the corner? Having these men intimidated by Kurisa, Masami snapped his finger to create a fireball that floated on top of the same hand—Masami's mana supporting it. "Well, guess I'm going to learn how to start fights, then."

Masami dashed in after stretching his arms downwards, balls of flames surrounded his distances, which then apparently penetrated through the targets' mana. Masami also used his own limbs to push enemies back off before they were able to hit Masami with their bats, at least this was as much as Masami's strength could do. He could manage being attacked multiple times while still standing, that was a thing, at least. Anyone who'd try and come up at Masami with their weapons would meet the boy's pinky finger, in which he uses to blow a fire spell through it. He hasn't even placed his mask at the center of his face and already these men layed low on the ground, most of them no longer having the energy to move. Masami was finished on this side, so he looked at the ones on Kurisa's side, and apparently they already knew how they were going to get beaten up the same.

She wanted to let her son do this mission. It'll show that she trusts Masami to take care of himself and truthfully, she wanted to see what he could all do. So far she has been doing a lot and wanted Masami to do some dirty work. It made her smile, they grew so fast as she wondered about something. His features were feminine and honestly could pass as any gender if he wanted to. Her idea was not going to go out to play just yet as it was not time. At most, she wanted to talk to another person to share what idea she had planned.

The two were talking once more as it was in Joyan. She understood most of it, but could not speak it as much as she could of her other parts. She watched him use fire elemental. Was this the first time? Kurisa could not quite remember if it was or not. It was a nice beautiful sight till he stopped as there were still some bad guys by her. Masami gazed at them as Kurisa's eyes cornered to look at them too. They knew what was going to happen, probably the same as the other men. She leaned against the bar stand with her hands balancing her body. The music kept playing, she was bopping her head with the music and lip singing the song. While doing that she next eyed Masami and the men back and forth. He was doing good for himself. No point in her jumping in.

Once Masami took care of the two men she was proud of him. She smiled happily and stood beside him. "Let's get our reward and go home.~" She spoke sweetly and left to see what this reward was. It obviously was jewels and getting more reputation. She needed that stuff, never enough money even if she was currently rich. The air seemed so clear in her opinion and the hotel was all ready and clean for the both of them.
