Kurisa watched the sky and wondered if she will be like the birds that fly in the sky. The blue and white mixing was intoxicating to her eyes as they were revealing different shapes. She had to go do some mission alone again without her son. Did he already do some without her? It made her sad, but also proud that he was strong enough to do stuff without her, but then again it made her feel lonely. She was indeed a lonely woman as the linger of someone's touch was needed. She desired it, but for now, power was all she had and could increase.

Without momo, she was alone and really had no one else to do things with. She was her company, it did not last long at all. She went and followed the noise. She had to go find Weirdlock. The dude had strange hair, but he seemed to want to really do his job. The guy reminded her of some rune knights back in the day. It has been a while since she has seen anyone of those knights. She remembered she was going to join them, but after the king's murder and the new king's rise up, it was different. They were not needed in some people's opinions.

Her eyes spotted the guy who was at the crime scene. People were roaming about like headless chickens who could not figure out where they were running nor going. Weirdlock was standing above the first body, covered in sheets as she could not see the whole body nor face. She wondered what exactly happened to them since she was going to help. Her eyes looked at the dude who she was helping and walked with him. He wanted to find the next body, the body that was fresher than the other.

They looked around the alley, but there was nothing else besides the beauty of flowers and the lake. Where could the body be hiding? Her eyes coldly looked at all the nature as her expressionless eyes mirrored the beauty she was seeing. It was not long after that she found something else that was not the body at all. Her eyes found some blood splatter that was trailing off to another area. Where could it lead to? Quietly, she went her own way to see where this was going.

The only thing she could feel was the wind touching her skin as the chills felt amazing to her. It was like a fresh breeze that gave her the ability to think clearly. Sadly, it was not enough for her emotions to settle. The mission had to continue so she continued on her walk to search for these clues. The blood trail stopped as they lead to some stairs. Slowly, she walked up to them and opened the door. Inside were nothing but crates. It was odd for it to lead here, but at the end of the hall, she found a note. The note had a symbol, but what did it mean?

Making sure she did not replace anything nor knock anything over she held onto the note tightly. Kurisa needed to walk back to the guy who had the funny hair, Weirdlock. Her tired eyes gazed at him who was waiting there for her. He seemed like he was not doing much at all to help. He was relying on her to do it all, but soon enough she will find out that he was doing more than that. He started to talk to her about the note as she showed it to him.

He started to explain that the symbol meant something about the black dragons, a yakuza gang. It sounded familiar. Did it have to do with Yami?

She remembered him when she went with some girls and fought him and the gang of his. It was a large number of people. It could not have been them again, right? She had no clue, but it did not really matter. She watched Weirdlock give the information to the city guards. Kuri listened to them to see if he told them anything about it at all, but there was nothing. He did not want to tell them anything it seems.

She watched the guards wondering if they were in any way related to the Rune Knights. She searched for some symbol on their gear, a tattoo, or anything. There seemed to be nothing as they were just wearing some normal gear. Her eyes followed them, the main one who was still talking to Weirdlock. What were they talking about? Her arms crossed as she waited, head tilted down, and wondered about the symbol. Would the boys know anything about it at all? She yawned softly, cleaned out her fingernails to waste some time.

Weirdlock walked back to Kurisa with some money and some other things. They talked about how the guards were just going to take the evidence and do something with it. That was not really specific, but she was just here to do what he wanted and get paid. Her sleepy eyes gazed at him who gave her a reward soon after. He instructed her that next time she was going to work with someone. He felt like that will be good for the mission in general, not because of her or anything. She nodded and took her reward and walked home. She wondered what the next mission was going to be like.

The man seemed to enjoy helping people, but thinking back on the mission made her wonder about where the body could have been. Was it hiding in the water? She did not feel anything from the element as the water made her feel weird things when she was near it. It was either a dead body, someone swimming in it or something that changed the element in any way. Masami must be waiting for her at home with something to eat. Perhaps she will do laundry when she got home. Her children were waiting.
