Sage †
Sage walked into his motel room and found a letter that was laying on the floor of his motel room. It seemed like someone had slipped it in through the space beneath the door of the room. Which was peculiar. Throughout his stay in that motel, people would leave the letter with the lounge staff every single time. He was so curious he bent down and reached for the letter immediately. It was rough and the letter was yellowish. It was sealed by an insignia stamp, a logo with the symbol of a raven. Sage walked to his bed while his eyes were still fixed on the peculiar insignia, adoring its beauty. He placed his hips on the soft mattress of the bed. He opened the letter, ripping the seal off the letter, he took out the piece of paper folded neatly inside the letter and unfolded it. He read through the letter, starting from the top.

"Dear Mr.Elm,
We hope you're doing well after being in the hospital. Your medical reports showed that you have scars and bruises all over your body and it was probably from being attacked by something. For the moment we will keep an eye on you and has sent one of our elite bodyguards to watch over you. The place you are residing currently is too close to the public and we expect you to be attacked again. We wouldn't want the public to get involve into this as it would make things worse. Please check out of your motel room today and move to the address located behind this letter. There you will find your bodyguard already waiting for you. Please cooperate with us and we hope you have a great day.
With Regards, the Hidden Moon."

Sage was frozen in place as he read the letter, he didn't know that such thing exist. Yes of course he knew dark associations and other things similar to it but an organization that would look into this matter being not of the rune knights and the holy knights left him speechless. Hidden Moon, he hadn't heard of such thing ever in his life. He had his doubts with the association but at the same time he was curious of this whole ordeal. He had many questions he would like answered, like what the group was, why the demons attacked him specifically, how did the group know all of the information. He then took a deep breath, He know if he don't do anything there will be no end to it. SO he crossed his fingers and decided to do as the letter said, to move to the new location. he packed his things, which wasn't much and walked towards the address place, which was located near the edge of Orichidia. He was wearing his usual white cloak with black shirt and pants. His gleaming sword stayed in tact on his back in the saddle. His bag left hanging by his back too, its size small but could fit many things.

When he reached near the address, he could see a farmhouse, with a barn and other things near it. Fields of plants where also there but there were no plants, as it was winter. Sage walked towards the door of the country liked house, with his left hand on his bag sack resting on his back. He knocked the door thrice and waited for someone to open it as he was told that his 'bodyguard' would be there and that the fact that the light was on he could easily tell someone was in there. He waited for a while and he could hear footsteps coming towards his direction. For some reason he felt nervous, what if this was a trap and he would be killed soon? He then calmed himself down a little as he reminded himself that if anything happens, he got his sword on his back that could be easily unsheathed. He then could hear the sound of the door knob being turned and the door opened a bit. It was still locked by the chains inside so the door wasn't opened fully and from the slight opening of the door, Sage could see a green eye peeking through the crack, its face was tanned and his hair was brown. The door than closed again and he could hear the sound of chains rattling and the door swung open, "Come inside," a raspy voice was heard accompanied by a tall man with chisel shaped face. His eyes were emerald green and his hair sleek brown. His body was well built, his shoulders board and his muscles were something not to mess with. He had a slight facial hair too. But the thing that was disturbing Sage was his slight wolfish grin at the corner of his face.

Sage was ready to pull his sword if anything happened as he walked pass the stranger and into the house, scanning it deeply and see if everything was okay. The lighting was warm yellow and the wooden boards of the house was painted white. The furniture looked antique and there was a stairs leading to the top floor too. The smell of something good could be smelt, Sage turned his head towards the direction from where the smell was, it came from the kitchen at the end of the hallway to his side. It was going to be dark soon, probably something for dinner. The stranger than closed the door and locked it, Sage turned around to see the man who was obviously bigger than him. He was peeking through the little curtain of the door, to see if anybody followed Sage there. The sky darkened and it seemed like there were a storm coming. It seemed like another blizzard was coming down. The green eyed man turned to look at Sage, their eyes caught each other for a moment and Sage swear he could feel his heart skipped for a second. The man turned to look away from Sage.

He looked at the yellow couch and said, "You can put your stuff over there for a while, dinner is ready so come with me." he said while pointing at the yellow couch. Sage hesitated and placed his bag sack on the yellow couch, then the tanned man noticed his cloak, "Give me your cloak," he said while reaching his right hand out to Sage. Sage looked at the man's hand, it was obviously bigger than his and it seemed pretty rough, meaning that the man before him had done a lot of physical activities before. Sage grabbed his cloak and gave it to the man, who received it with a calm expression while Sage's face was filled with suspicion. How did he know the man could be trust? He don't even know if the man is the right person the Hidden Moon organization had set for him. Plus he didn't even know if he could trust this Hidden Moon organization in the first place! The man turned around to hang Sage's cloak on a coat hanger beside the door, which there was another coat hanged there, probably the man's coat. He then turned back to Sage and saw Sage's suspicious face, eyebrows sunk to the middle and a slight frown on his face. The man chuckled a little, "You don't have to be afraid, you can trust me." he said calmly with a warm smile. But it seemed more like he was having fun. Sage then burrowed his eyebrows even more and reached his sword, not unsheathing it yet though, "Prove that I can trust you." Sage said with a serious tone, his magenta eyes were filled with flames.

The man sighed and grinned. Sage wasn't okay with the man's grin as it resembled that of a wolf's grin. The man reach for his pocket and pulled out his wallet, he then searched for something and pulled out a photo. He then showed Sage the photo. Sage closed into the photo and he could see the man on the right. But on his left was someone very familiar, he couldn't recall who was it at first but then it hit him and he gasped, "I-is that?" he was shocked but before he could finish his sentence the man answered him, "Yes that is your father.", Sage turned his face up to look at the man again, he had never seen him in his life before and yet the picture seemed very recent, Sage wanted to ask him a lot of questions but he froze for awhile. The man chuckled and took the sword's saddle off Sage. He was so close to him, Sage blushed a little, he was a stranger, but why was he comfortable with the man being so close to him? He had so many questions, but he knew it won't be answered straight away. The man placed Sage's sword on the side of the room and he placed his arms over Sage's shoulders. Sage felt weird.

The man stepped forward, carefully carrying Sage by his side towards the stairs. "Now you seemed quite scared and I bet you must have lots of questions to ask. So now I need you to take a bath and freshen up, you must be tired from all that walking, your room is to the right, I've prepared for you clothes too, after that head down for dinner. Now go," he said, leading Sage to the stairs. His words were warm and so was his touch, it was all so delicate. Sage was baffled, he didn't know what to do but the man had guided him. So he walked up the stairs, shutting his mind as the man was quite right, he was tired. He didn't think of anything else but simply focus on taking a shower. He walked to the room on the right, and noticed there was a room to the left, which he figured out was the man's room. There was also a sliding door ahead, which from the partings of the curtains, Sage figured it was the balcony. He walked to the room on the right and switched the lights on, it was incandescent orange. Which was a nice and warm atmosphere to have. There were a shirt sitting on the bed, also a pair of what seemed to be comfortable pants and... an underwear. But Sage didn't think much about it as his face turned red, he was partly ashamed but was glad he could wear something clean. He undressed himself and head for the bathroom, were there was a towel neatly arranged there too. He took the shower and felt refreshed, wore the clothes on the bed and went down the stairs where he could smell something really good.

He couldn't see anyone at the lounge room but he could hear movements from the kitchen, so he head there and peeked a little, he saw the well built man preparing the dinner, serving the plates on the small table at the side of the kitchen, with two cute chairs placed opposite of each other from the table. The man then noticed Sage and smiled warmly at him, "Come in, I made your favorite,", he said then took off his apron and sat on one of the chairs, Sage walked closer towards the table to see if it was his favorite or that the man was all bluff. He was shocked as the sight of spaghetti with meatballs and the smell was sauce was also attracting. He gulped as he felt really hungry then and sat opposite of the man, grinning slightly at the thought of the food. The man chuckled as he saw Sage's reaction. He then realized something, "Oh yeah, my name is Ryoma by the way. I'm here to watch over you, so you can practically treat me as a servant." he said, introducing himself. "Now I see that you're hungry let's dig in." he continued, while they eat Sage knew it was the perfect time to ask some questions.

"So how did you know my father? And how did you know what my favorite food is?" he asked, while he took the neatly arranged fork and spoon laying beside his plate of spaghetti. The first question had some serious tone to it, but the second one had a bit of a giggle to it. The man chuckled a little at the question then answered, "Well your father was a part of the HIdden Moon. It was a secret organization.", as the word of Hidden Moon was spoken Sage looked at Ryoma with more attentiveness as he continued, "For the past two years that you had been gone, I had a mission at Caelum, and it was near your parent's house. I was deeply injured and I couldn't go to the local hospital or else I will blow the whole thing. So the organization contacted your parents to heed my wound. I stayed there for a couple of months because my injuries were that bad." he explained with seriousness then changed his tone to an amused one, "and while I was there, your parents talked a lot about you, so I know a lot about you already." he said, and at the end of it sounded so delicate Sage turned red a little. He then took a spoonful of the spaghetti and drove it into his mouth. They then ate accompanied with silence. A few of the questions had been answered and that seemed to calm Sage a bit.

After they finished, Ryoma asked Sage to leave the plate for him to do the dishes and Sage didn't want to argue. He then went to the lounge and examine the place, sitting on the yellow couch next, waiting for Ryoma to come as he still had a lot of questions to ask him. As he waited, he could hear the sound of water rushing and the sound of scrubbing and the clinking sound of the plates hitting each other. The sounds then all stop and Ryoma turned off the kitchen lights. He then walked towards the lounge and was surprised to see that Sage was still there at the lounge by the fireplace, gazing his eyes into it. Ryoma approached Sage and sat opposite of him on a red lounge chair. He looked at Sage with interest in his eyes. Sage still wasn't aware of his being there. Ryoma cleared his throat to gain Sage's attention and it worked. Sage looked at Ryoma's with surprise, then he leaned back in the couch. "So I bet you must have a lot of questions in your head, so go ahead. Come at me." he said with the same wolfish grin. Sage cleared his throat next, but it didn't sound as manly as Ryoma's. Comparing Ryoma and Sage, it could be said that Sage wasn't near to being a man. But despite that Sage still asked, "What happened to me back then?" was his first question, he wanted to know what attacked him so suddenly.

Ryoma closed his eyes as he was asked this question. It seemed like it was something dead serious that shouldn't be messed with. "Those are indeed demons. They were trying to erase threats from the world as the winter solstice are about to come. We from the Hidden Moon was anticipating this attack as it occur every year. But the demons usually attack those they deem as strong threats that could destroy their plan during the winter solstice. Weirdly enough, the person this year is you Sage. We checked your background and there were records where the demons had attacked your father and mother countless times but they didn't succeed as they have the protection of the Hidden Blades and not to your information, your father was a strong mage that shouldn't be reckoned with. But now that we know the demons had attacked you, and you being a fairly strong mage yourself left us clueless. But we came out with one hypothesis. You Sage, have the potential to become something far more greater. That's why the demons attacked you, but of course you need a few training before hand." he explained with great depths. Sage could only listen and take it all in. Even though it was much he couldn't bear it anymore. The information was enough. Ryoma then said, "I am here to look after you, and to train you. We will start early next morning so have a good night alright?" then he stood up, indicating that it was bed time. Sage sighed and buried himself further into the cushion. "Can I sleep here though? I'm quite scared." he asked with his best puppy eyes. He didn't want to spent somewhere he was unfamiliar with in a closed space after the attack he had.

Ryoma looked at him and chuckled, "If you say so, I guess I'll sleep here too then." He said with his wolfish grin. From a way, it looked like Ryoma wanted to keep Sage from any harm, but Sage could feel that in Ryoma's voice there were something else behind his reasons. "Let me just grab some stuff first and check things out around the house." Ryoma then walked off towards the other room, leaving Sage alone in the lounge by the fireplace. Sage yawned and rubbed his eyes, He then laid himself on the couch and used his arms as a pillow. He then closed his eyes. He didn't intend to sleep as Ryoma will be back soon. But he was so tired he fell asleep anyway. Ryoma was locking all the doors and windows, closing he curtains and turned off the lights, leaving the only source of light was the fireplace. He took some blankets from his room and a few pillow. But when he went downstairs he could see Sage already asleep. He smiled at the sight of Sage and walked towards him. He then placed over Sage a blanket and placed a pillow underneath his head. Sage moved a little.

Indicating that he was comfortable with it and a slight smile appeared on Sage's face as he sleeps. His smile was always warm. Ryoma then sat on the red lounge chair and covered his body with a blanket. He then slept sitting on the couch with both his hands clenching one another. The lounge then became quiet and only the sound of fire crackling could be heard. The sun then rose. It's light passed through the partings of the curtains and it hits Sage's face. He groaned and stood up from his laying position. He felt a pillow near his hands and a blanket over him, but he couldn't remeber sleeping with either of them. He then saw a crippled blanket in front of him on the red lounge chair, it had marks over it indicating that someone slept on it. Sage then made the conlusion that Ryoma was sleeping there and had put over the blanket and the pillow for Sage. The thought of it just made him blush. He then stood up and stretched his body, he could hear the sound of a mug and a spoon clinking together, indicating that someone was making a drink. He turned towards the sound and he saw the light of the kitchen was on. He walked towards the kitchen and saw Ryoma making a drink. His hair was a mess, just like his and Ryoma noticed Sage walking in. He smiled and grabbed two mugs, walking towards Sage and handing one of it to him. "Good morning sleepy head, did you have a good night sleep?" he asked with a warm smile of his.

Sage returned his smile and took the mug, which he could tell was hot chocolate judging by the smell. "Yeah I did, thanks by the way," he said then drank the hot chocolate. The temperature was warm but not too hot, and the taste was great. Ryoma chuckled as he chugged down his drink. Then went to the sink and spoke, "We will have a bit of a training after this, are you prepared for it?" he asked while washing his mug. "Yeah I'm okay with it," Sage replied simply, walking towards the small table on the side of the kitchen and sat on one of the chairs, drinking the hot chocolate. It felt so good Sage didn't know how to even put it into words. Sage then finished his drink and walked towards the sink where Ryoma was still there, washing a few things. Sage didn't want to be an annoyance, so he decided to wash his mug on his own, he reached pass Ryoma and grabbed the sponge, then washed his mug. "You know you don't have to right?" Ryoma said sounding guilty. Sage could only smile, "Well you should know that YOU don't have to do things for me right?" Sage replied with a giggle at the end. Ryoma smiled and chuckled, then brushed Sage's already messy hair. "Fair point" he said, then walked off.

Sage then quickly finish his washing and followed Ryoma. Ryoma noticed this and walked out of the house, Sage obviously followed and he saw Ryoma walking towards the back of the house. Sage walked towards the back of the house too. He turned around the corner and saw something that left his jaw hanging. He saw Ryoma being strangled by a big creature with many tendrils. Its appearance was completely black and Ryoma was struggling for escape. Sage clenched his teeth and lunged towards the demon, the demon than noticed Sage and smacked him down with one of his long tendrils. Sage was thrown aside in the dirt. He was still recovering from his scars, especially the one on his neck, the demon that bit him there left a deep mark. He then stood up, despite being deeply hurt, he didn't want to give up. He looked at the demon with intense flames in his magenta eyes. He lunged forward while he brought his hand to his chest and whispered, "Celeritas, Viribus,", a golden magic seal then passed through him and he was glowing with yellow aura, he was then faster than the creature, he hit it with a few punches, it seemed to squeal in pain which meant it worked, but then it somehow caught Sage's feet and dragged him to the ground, smashing him on the dirt. Sage then tried to break free, but he wasn't strong enough. He saw Ryoma still struggling, his mouth covered by one of the long black tendrils. Sage was furious, he chanted, "Altum Viribus!" and another light appeared beneath him and the yellow aura around him seemed to have gone brighter.

Sage then broke free from the tendrils, it seemed like he was stronger then. He then dashed towards the creature and hit it with a powerful punch. It blew the creature away, knocking it back then it dissipated. Ryoma then dropped to the soft dirt on the ground, Sage was then hurt as he got a strong beating from the demon. The aura around him disappeared and he collapsed on the ground, unconscious. He couldn't remember anything after he fainted, but slowly consciousness went back to him as he slowly opened his eyes. He then could feel the hurt on his back and his ribs, the side of his head and his arms were also hurt. He then saw Ryoma sitting beside him. Through Sage's empathy, he could tell that Ryoma felt guilty and he was ashamed of himself. But Sage was too tired to talk, plus Ryoma hadn't noticed Sage waking up yet so Sage didn't feel as guilty to go back to his slumber. He closed his eyes again, he wanted to get some rest as he was quite tired and he felt hurt to even move, so he decided it would be best if he just slept. While trying to sleep, he heard someone sobbing, it had to be Ryoma's. Sage was too hurt to do anything, but he felt sorry for him.

Sage †
Sage groaned, his closed eyelids began to open slowly, letting the light to enter his eyes. Sage could see the ceiling of the farmhouse he was in since yesterday. He could tell that it was night as it was quite dark already. He stood up, his body was covered with band aids. It didn't hurt anymore but he thought it would be best if he didn't touch it. He noticed the sound that came from the kitchen, the sound of clattering and the smell of food. It must had been Ryoma, Sage wondered if Ryoma would keep cooking for them on and on, it actually felt quite strange for a buff man like him to do so for Sage. He then sneezed. It was unexpected and Sage didn't want Ryoma to know that he had woken up already, just not yet. But there was no turning back now, Ryoma peeked through the hallway from the kitchen and their eyes locked. Ryoma smiled slightly, "So you're awake,", he then retreated back to the kitchen. Sage could see through Ryoma's smile and eyes that he was guilty and he was ashamed of himself. Sage didn't want it to be that way. He wanted to see Ryoma truly smile and he wants him to be happy. That was what he felt, it was the first time he felt such thing. He moved himself in a sitting position on the couch, a warm blanket was on his lap and a soft pillow near him. Ryoma had cared well for him.

Ryoma then showed up, with a wooden tray in his hand with a bowl on it. He reached for a coffee table and dragged it near Sage. Then placed the wooden tray and the bowl on it. It was chicken soup, the thing that was perfect for his condition then. Ryoma then set on the red couch. Sage took the spoon and fed himself some of the soup. He tasted it, it was perfect. The taste of it made him feel warm inside. He smiled at the taste warmly, then looked at Ryoma. Through his eyes, Sage could see the sorrow behind it. He placed the spoon back in the bowl and looked at Ryoma, warmth in his smile and eyes. "Hey," he said, wanting Ryoma's attention first. "back then, you couldn't have done anything, so, you don't have to feel bad about it," he continued, his voice gentle and smoothing. Ryoma looked away, couldn't look at Sage eye to eye. Ryoma then buried his face under his hands, "But I was supposed to protect you, and instead you protect me, I am such a disgrace." he said with a sorrowful voice. Sage looked sympathetically at him and then said, "hey, if you want to protect me, you shouldn't feel bad about what happened," he stopped abruptly trying to swallow something, "or not you will make me feel bad too." he continued then tears started running down his face and he began to sob.

Sage †
Sage couldn't especially handle others emotions. It was as if he was cursed to feel what others feel. Some called him too sensitive, while some said he is too empathetic. But at one point he felt as if it was his best trait ever. Ryoma moved his hands away from his face and looked at Sage as soon as he heard the sobbing. He went over to Sage's side quickly and had his arm wrapped around Sage, "It's okay, everything is gonna be fine." He hugged Sage a little, while rubbing Sage's arms to make him feel calm. Sage stopped feeling sad and leaned over to Ryoma. It was warm. He didn't know what was happening to him but despite all that he felt sick he sneezed, "Oh I'm sorry," he said and giggled afterwards. Ryoma let go of Sage and smiled, "Now you better finish that soup, I promise you will feel better." he said. Sage smiled and continued to finish his bowl of chicken soup. After he finished Ryoma took the bowl and went to the kitchen to wash them. He then returned with Sage staring into the fire. He sat on the red couch and leaned into it, Sage noticed him and they locked eyes again. Sage then turned to look away but then Ryoma spoke and he shifted his gaze on the green eyes again,"The headquarters contacted me and said that the attack revealed and proved a certain pattern. The demons only showed up during twilight, so we won't be going out of this house during that time, and we will be on guard." he said, explaining the things he had heard from the headquarters of the Hidden Moon.

Sage did slept for a long time, so he did not feel tired or sleepy, but he saw Ryoma yawned, "Hey, if you're sleepy, you can go to bed you know? And you don't have to sleep on a chair, I'll be good alone here downstairs." Sage said, he didn't want to be more of a burden to this guy. But he didn't get the reply he expected. Ryoma chuckled, "Not by any day will I leave you alone. I'll be ready if anything happens and hey, sleepiness won't take me down easily. Plus I could talk to you, which will probably keep me up all night." he said with a smile on his face. Sage heard all that and he blushed, he then grinned and asked, "Why's that?". He didn't know why he had asked that question but it seemed like he asked on impulse. Ryoma locked eyes with Sage and answered him, "Well, I'm not sure how to put this but, I kinda like you, y'know?" with every word spoken, Ryoma's face turned a little red, but his smile stayed intact despite it. While Sage on the other side turned fully red and grinned like a stupid moron. He tried to look away from the emerald eyes but now it just seemed more intimidating than ever.

Sage †
The atmosphere suddenly turned strange. It was as if butterflies were flying around in Sage’s stomach. He didn’t know what he was feeling but he couldn’t help but to like it. He shifted his gaze towards the tanned man. They both smiled at each other warmly. Even though there were silence, it was a comfortable one. “So how did you end up in the Holy Knights?” Ryoma asked after a few moment of comfortable silence. Sage then chuckled a bit, amused by the actual reasons behind it. “Well I just wanted to protect others, from these demons and what not. The rune knights are cool and all but I don’t like the council that much.”. They then spent the rest of the night talking to each other, laughing at jokes and get to know each other more. Until Sage yawned and they both fell asleep at the lounge room, warmed by the fireplace that flickered in the silent night. The sun then rose, its sun rays peeked through the partings of the curtain. Sage woke up, he brushed his eyes and he saw Ryoma still sleeping on the red lounge chair. He smiled without knowing why. He remembered Ryoma telling him that it won’t be save to go outside at twilight. So Sage went to the kitchen and made himself a cup of hot chocolate as the morning was quite cold. After drinking some of the hot chocolate Ryoma came walking in. They both smiled at each other but didn’t say a word to one another. It was another silence that both of them find comfortable. They made breakfast together without exchanging words, knowing what the other would add to the ingredient and sometimes they joke with each other, leaving laughter out of their mouths.

Then Sage left for his room, taking a shower afterwards. After that he went downstairs to see Ryoma already showered and was ready to go somewhere, “Where are you going?” Sage asked him. Ryoma looked at him, just noticing he was there. “Oh well today we’re going to the headquarters. They were eager to meet you y’know?” he added with a slight grin as if he was teasing Sage. “Oh well I guess we’d better get going then.” he replied with another teasing tone. They then went out and it seemed like the headquarters had sent them a caravan to ride on. It seemed like there was another person in the caravan, a girl with purple hair and a white blouse. She didn’t seem too happy to be there. It seemed like Ryoma didn’t know who the girl was either as he they didn’t say anything to each other, simply nodding to one another. Sage sat beside Ryoma in the caravan, due to Ryoma being quite bulky, Sage’s body could feel Ryoma’s warm ones. He wasn’t exactly comfortable in that situation but deep inside him he liked it. They were in that position for quite a lojng time and Sage noticed that the headquarters was out of Orichidia.

They reached the headquarters not long after. It was surrounded by fields of crops. Around it were mountains and he couldn’t see any further as it was blocked by the clouds. Sage wondered how high they were up in the mountains. Ryoma went out of the caravan first and opened the door for the purple haired lady and Sage. Who walked out and followed Ryoma into the building. It wasn’t that fancy, but it seemed luxurious. The walls were build with cobblestones, which color blended well with some of the red wood additions at the walls and the balcony. “We’ll be spending the night here if you don’t mind?” Ryoma turned to face Sage, asking him the question before pushing the door open. “Ah yes, I’ll be fine with it.” Sage answered lightly, Ryoma grinned, his features were that of a wolf but Sage was getting used to it already. He then pushed the door open and they entered the building. The warm orange light washed upon Sage and the sound of chattering and laughter could be heard, they weren’t loud but warm and calm. Some of them turned to look at us and they lit up as they saw Ryoma, greeting him and hugging him. Sage smiled, it was as if the organization wasn’t just any organization but it was like a family. They then turned to the purple haired girl and bowed to her, saying, “M’lady,” as they did so which made Sage wondered who the girl was.

They then turned to Sage and their face sparked up even more. “Ah! Is this Dex’s son? Oh boy he is more good looking than his father!” one of them joke as they approached Sage. “Come, sit with us, let me introduce you to the others,” he said while grabbing Sage’s back and pushing him with him to one of the lounge rooms. Sage looked at Ryoma with a worried look and Ryoma could only smile, “It’s gonna be fine,” he added as if he was teasing Sage again. Sage was then brought to see the other people who brought up the name of his father over and over again. They offered a sit to Sage and he sat on it, being surrounded by many of them. They were all nice and kind so Sage felt like home already. They told stories about their father and mother adventures and they had a good laugh about it. Then when they settled a bit they started to get serious and most of the crowds left the room. A few people stayed but Sage couldn’t see Ryoma but the purple haired girl was there. She sat closer to Sage and looked at him with a disinterest in her face. “I’m Lady Elaine, I’m the leader here. We will make you one of our members and this organization is secret. You can still work with the holy knights if you want though.” she introduced herself with a bored tone. She looked quiet young to be a leader, Sage thought.

Sage †
Sage shifted his gae towards Ryoma, who was standing at the corner of the room, watching as Lady Elaine conversed to Sage. He then looked back at her as she reached her hand out to him. She grabbed Sage’s hand and brought it closer to her. She then held it with both of her hands and closed her eyes, straightening her back as well. Then her palm glowed and Sage could feel warmth in his hand. He could then feel the warmth of the light surges through his body. Lady Elaine let go of his hand as his body shook. Then it all went black. Sage couldn’t remember what happened next.

He then could hear whispers, no murmurs. He opened his eyes and the warm orange light blasted his eyes. He looked around the room and he noticed that he was laying on a mattress on the floor. A blanket over his body. He then saw Ryoma sitting at the end of the room, it seemed like he was meditating or something. Ryoma then opened his eyes as he noticed Sage had woken up, “So you’re awake.” he said. Sage looked at him, he was confused and everything was fuzzy. “What happened?” he asked. Demanding to know hat happened to him after Lady Elaine did that thing to him. Ryom sighed a little then answered, “You are now officially a member of the Hidden Moon organization. The thing that Lady Elaine did to you was a tradition of this organization. Light passes through your body and clean any form of evil from us. And it seemed like you didn’t handle it well. There were already light inside of you. Concentrated light that is, and when that extra light from Lady Elaine went through your body the amount of light inside you are overwhelming for a body like yours, hence why you fainted.” he answered perfectly. Sage looked at the floor, “where are we now?” he had asked Ryoma. “We’re in our room.” Sage then turned red a little, “W-what do you mean ‘our’ room?” he asked. Ryoma smirked and answered again, “I am your guardian. It is my duty to be where you are, always. Especially when demons are about to attack again. Speaking of demons, we will start training tomorrow, so rest well.” He said to Sage. He did feel a little bit exhausted, so he laid back and went back to sleep. It kind of felt creepy that Ryoma was watching him while he sleeps, but he guessed he had to get used to it from now on. Not that he didn’t like it when Ryoma watches him. The next morning he woke up and he noticed that there were noises outside of his room, so he stood up and walked outside, as he slid open the door and walked forward, he stumbled with a big chest, “oof”, he then looked up to see who it was and he saw the familiar wolfish grin, who was holding two mugs and a plate.

Sage †
Ryoma had brought in breakfast for him, Sage said thanks and grabbed the mug and the plate, setting it on the floor and he sat beside it then he started to munch down the waffles and fruits. Then he chugged the hot chocolate while Ryoma watched him over the door. “It’s past twilight, so it’s safe outside, let’s go.”. Sage then remembered that Ryoma said they were going to train that day. He was quite excited for it actually. He stood up and followed Ryoma. They passed through a hallway where there were doors on every sides. It seemed like its the dormitory of the organization. He then followed Ryoma, turning through hallways and passing through people whom greeted him and Ryoma. It seemed like almost everybody knows Ryoma. And everybody’s face lit up when they saw Sage. As he was the son of one the two best individuals of the organization.

They then walked into an open field which was just next to the enormous building of the organization. Sage looked around and they were surrounded by mountains. There were also a huge waterfall at one end and a beautiful lake at the bottom of it. It seemed like paradise. The air was still fresh and more the reason Sage was excited to train. “Now let’s sit here in the middle of the meadow and meditate for awhile.” Ryoma told him, which let Sage down as he found meditating quite boring but oh well it’s not like he could say otherwise. He followed Ryoma and sat next to him. He then closed his eyes and straighten his back. He emptied his mind. Then he could hear Ryoma speak as they meditate, “Now feel the warmth hidden inside you, let it all out if you will.”. Sage then imagined the sun and the stars. The warmth of the sun that hits his skin during the day and the beauty of the stars twinkling in the sky. Then he felt it, he could feel his stomach getting warmer and warmer. The warmth then spread to his heart. The heart then pumped the warmth through his blood all over his body. “Whoa,” Sage heard Ryoma suddenly said. He wondered what was happening and so he opened his eyes. He looked at Ryoma who was looking at him with awe in his eyes. He then looked at himself and noticed that he was glowing. He then looked back at Ryoma, “How did you know how to awaken my magic?” Sage asked, he was now very curious. Ryoma smirked, showing his wolfish grin once again, “I’ve been studying you.” Sage then felt like he was harassed, like somebody touched him without his permission. His face was hot and his cheeks were red. “W-What do you mean? You stalked me?” he asked, he felt very weird now. Ryoma then laughed, amused at the question. “No, no, the headquarters had given me your files so that I can study them, so that I could protect you better,” he answered shortly. Sage then felt reassured. “Ouh,” the word escaped his mouth. He felt more content now. Then he looked back at Ryoma, “So shall we test this power of mine?” he asked while trying to mimic Ryoma’s smirk, which made him laugh even more.

Sage †
Ryoma looked back at Sage, he could feel the warmth in his eyes. “yeah sure,” he answered shortly. He then took a step backward from Sage and closed his eyes, he then grabbed something from the air, dark aura started to gather and orm a sword, the wolfish grin then appeared on his face once more. Sage wondered hat kind of magic was that and it seemed like Ryoma had noticed Sage’s curious face and straightly answered, “I can concentrate shadow or dark energy into one place, enhancing my physical attributes,” he explain with a smirk. Sage then got it all. That was why Ryoma could train Sage so well and the reason the hidden Moon organization sent him to train Sage, it was because their magic was quite similar to each other and the only difference was the element they used. Sage grinned, he then make a stance, as if he was ready to fight. Ryoma looked at Sage like a wolf looking at its prey and said, “Come at me,”. Sage leaped forward with extreme speed and sent a punch towards Ryoma, but Ryoma easily dashed to the back of Sage and gave him a push forward. Sage was pushed forward but he didn’t stop easily, he kicked himself from the ground and dashed towards Ryoma, they were then sending fists to each other. It was so fast that it was hard for common people to see what was happening. Ryoma’s body was then starting to have dark purple aura around him, the aura getting more concentrated over time. It was the same for Sage, golden yellow aura formed around him and it gets more and more concentrated. They were then dashing here and there, moving so fast that it sent a hurl of wind to the nearby trees.

Then they finally stopped, standing opposite of each other. They were grasping for air. Then their mana ran out and the strong aura around them slowly dissipated. They then looked at each other, still breathing deeply and quickly for air. Then they chuckled, the adrenaline rush that they felt was refreshing and they felt alive. “I think that’s it for today, we will continue our training in the afternoon,” Ryoma said with a breathy voice, “O-okay,” Sage replied with a breathy voice too. They then walked towards the Hidden Moon’s headquarters and Ryoma put his arm over Sage’s shoulder. They then laughed while walking towards the building. They haven’t had so much fun before. Ryoma and Sage both seemed to have found each other a some sort of rival to contest their power, someone they could train with fairly. Most mages have the power to create projectiles or curses. But they both couldn’t do any of that but simply put their body on the line, enhancing their physical attributees to fight. They headed to the headquarters sweating and each of the had a shower and rested until the afternoon. Sage wondered what they would do as they were both low on mana. Ryoma had something in store for Sage though, something that didn’t require any usage of mana. While at the balcony of the headquarter, Lady Elaine stood there, her green hair were flowing with the wind. She had watched the brawl between Sage and Ryoma, her face still expressionless but deep inside she feared something, something that only she knew.

Sage †
After a few hours passed, Ryoma called Sage from their room to the main hall, where food was served. They had their lunch with the other members and Sage got to meet them and know them as well. They then exchanged stories and laughed together when random jokes rises. After a few hours passed, most of the members headed to their room to do their own business and a few stick at the main hall. Ryoma called over to Sage and asked him to follow him. Sage followed Ryoma without no further questions. Ryoma had told Sage about continuing their training that afternoon, so it was planned ahead of time. They walked under the trees of the valley, as they walked, Sage could hear the sound of water rushing ahead. He had something in mind of what they would do, but it was freezing cold as it was the middle of winter. “Wait are we…” Sage voiced up, but before he could say anything further, Ryoma turned around a little and placed his finger on Sage’s lips, “Shh, just do what I do.” he hushed Sage just like that. It was a little bit annoying for Sage to deal with such person. However having lived with the man he knew he could trust the man. After a few more steps, they arrived at the waterfall. It was beautiful, Sage had to admit it. Then Ryoma started undressing, “Whoa whoa what are you doing?” Sage responded with blushed cheeks. Ryoma laughed at Sage’s expression then explained himself as he toned down, “Well, we are going to sit under the waterfall for a few hours. It’s a good training for the body and mind, now come on.” he said while undressing everything but his undergarments.

Sage was speechless at first then sighed, “Fine, fine.” he had to agree with Ryoma, sitting under the waterfall is a good training, so he started undressing but his undergarments and followed Ryoma into the waterfall. Ryoma dipped himself in the water and walked towards the waterfall, seeing that Sage thought that it wasn’t that cold after all. So he dipped one of his leg straight into the water and it was as if he was impaled by thousands of knives. “Gaaah!” he shouted, shocked by the coldness of the water, “Now, now, you can do it, don’t be afraid.” Ryoma chuckled, then he sat on top of a round rock beneath the waterfall and closed his eyes, peeking at Sage a little. Sage took a deep breath and walked into the water, he waited for a few moments before his body regulated itself to the coldness. Sage kept breathing in and out calmly. He then followed Ryoma, sitting on a big round rock next to his, letting the rushing water fall onto his body and soul. Although it was super cold, and the water felt super heavy, Sage knew that that was the purpose of sitting under the waterfall. The coldness is to train his mind and soul to be strong. The impact of the strong water however is to train his body to be stronger. Sage focused on himself, and he could feel warmth surging along his body and his body getting tougher and tougher. He opened his eyes to peek what was happening, and to his expectations, he was radiating of warm yellow aura. He looked over at Ryoma and he could see purple aura around him. He smiled a little. Ryoma was the perfect trainer for him all along, as they both utilize their magic in the same way. Sage closed his eyes and continued focusing on himself, letting the force of the water impact and the coldness become one with him. He surrendered himself to nature, his soul was getting humbler, it became more and more pure. The warmth around him was getting warmer and warmer.

After a few hours had passed, Sage could feel the water around him move in a weird way, he peeked and saw Ryoma walking out of the waterfall. Sage decided that the right thing to do was to follow him. They then dressed up and walked towards the headquarters, and some of the maids there scolded them for getting the floor wet, but they could only laugh about it and run towards their room. They then showered and had dinner, then said goodnight to everyone and went to bed. The next morning Sage woke up and they all had their breakfast, and it was time for Sage to leave.
