PEEK-A-BOOIt was just another day in Crocus for the blonde wherein she had just been assigned another quest to do. This was a rather, different one as apparently it involved a Seated Rune Knight who was the son of a very famous Knight. It appeared as though he was well reputed for helping the city and had fallen sick for the day and so, the blonde was sent to do his part of the work today which, as she skimmed through her sheet, involved training children who wanted to become future soliders.
Asura nodded to herself as she wondered how hard training a small bunch of kids could possibly be. The blonde didn't really hold an opinion on whether she liked or didn't like kids; it all depended on the child and she just hoped that these children would be tolerable, at the least.
Asura arrived in the small park where the children were apparently, according to what Armin, the Seated Rune Knight had said, would be waiting for her. She walked a few steps inside, her sapphire hues glancing around for a group of children that she was supposed to meet. Not long after, she spotted a group of about 5 children, all boys, at the corner of the small park. Assuming them to be the kids, she walked towards the group, the sheet clutched in her hand as she approached them and said, "Hello, are you perhaps, the children whom Armin Barthomolew trains?"
The boys looked towards, eyeing the blonde up and down with a light judgmental look on their face. "Yeah, what's it to you lady?" They sneered at her to which the blonde raised an eyebrow at. Well, they certainly didn't seem very pleasant. She crossed her arms and replied, "He's sick today so I'm here to train you in his stead." They blinked at her a few times and then burst into bouts of laughter, cackling as they hollered to what she had just said. A light tick could be seen on the blonde's head, as her annoyance was increasing quite a bit.
Well, this isn't going to be easy at all.-------------------------------------------------------

Constitution : Endurance : Intelligence : Mana : "You boys shouldn't laugh at someone nice enough to train you." a gruff male voice called from behind Asura. If she were to look over her shoulder, she'd see no other than Fenrir the disgraced knight standing in just a few feet away. Spiky golden hair and sharp expression it was evident that he had heard all of the teasings and mocking from the children through his narrowed visage.
Donning a black tracksuit and sneakers, Fenrir was just returning from his own rigorous course of training. It was nothing too tricky today, mostly just working on his legs and arms though if one were to look him over, they'd see he appeared far more muscular than he usually was.
Stepping to Asura's side, he'd offer the children an unamused gaze as his track jacket blew in the wind behind him revealing his skin-tight tank top abdominals on full display. "I don't know what the issue is, but if you kids are wise you'll listen to her else you'll deal with me." he'd point to himself with a balled up first and thumb.
The threat was empty, but it seemed his friend was in need of some help and he didn't want to see her blow her stack just yet. "Damn girl, you lookin' fine today, you get sum new makeup or summin'?"

PEEK-A-BOOIt did come as quite a surprise to her when Asura turned around just to see none other than Fenrir. He appeared to have come to help her deal with the kids which while she was appreciative for, it also irked her a bit thinking that he may have thought she couldn’t handle it.
No, it’s not like that, he’s just being nice.
At his compliment to her, the blonde would merely raise an eyebrow at him. “As much as I appreciate your attempt to calm me down, I have more important matters to attend to,” she said, while tilting her head at the kids, “If you want to help, be my guest. If you don’t, get out.” It was of course, done in a playful manner, she didn’t actually want him to leave. She appreciated his company and if he could help her tame these kids, then so be it.
The kids looked towards Fenrir, gawking at his muscles. They nodded slowly at what he had said and seemed to be almost gravitating towards him. Asura did catch notice of that and cleared her throat to get their attention, “Well, if we’re done with that, my name is Asura and this is Fenrir and we’ll be training you today.” As she spoke, the kids seemed almost nonchalant which irked her even more.
She clicked her tongue and ordered, “Fine. 50. Push-ups. Now.”-------------------------------------------------------

With a side gaze he looked at her with a cocked brow and curled lips as he began to lightly sweat, “W-what?” his tone had changed from joking to nervous. But no matter he’d play along for now, though she’d owe him one for calming down these brats. Watching it seemed the bunch of rugrats had gravitated towards his mass over Asura’s stern demeanor. The first thing the golden haired warrior would do is put his hands up and shake his head before pointing at Asura, “She’s your trainer kids, I’m just here to help… I guess.” he shrugged and looked over at her.
When she mentioned 50 push ups his expression lit up as he immediately flopped onto the ground in push up position, “Alright, I thought we’d start with something easy.” he laughed as he began to do the push ups with very little effort, “Hey Asura why don’t you sit on my back I could use the resistance!” he would do the push ups just as the kids were, transitioning to one handed push ups putting his other arm behind his back as his right raised and lowered him. 459/1000

PEEK-A-BOOIt did surprise her a bit when Fenrir started doing the push-ups as well because as soon as she had said that, the kids all let out a groan and were probably cursing her in their minds. However, Fenrir's urge to do it seemed to motivate the kids as well for they started getting on the ground and attempting to do push-ups right after he did. Asura didn't expect them to do all 50 but at least, it would make them shut up for a while. When Fenrir would ask her to sit on his back, the blonde would, yet again raise an eyebrow before deciding why not. Just as he'd started on one handed push-ups, the blonde seated herself on top of him, crossing her legs and lightly snickering.
The kids seemed to stop for a second and wonder what was happening before the blonde would look at them with a blank stare and say, "Did I say you could stop? No, right? So, continue and count loudly while you're at it." The kids again grumbled however, seemed to comply. It seemed as though having Fenrir there was proving to be a good thing as they seemed more motivated to work out. However, after a while, she could see them tiring out, somewhere around 20 push-ups. One of the kids laid down and started grumbling, "Hey, lady. If you're so tough, why don't you do the push-ups with us, huh?"
Asura would raise an eyebrow and get up from the raven haired man before proceeding to get on the ground and doing push-ups, albeit with both hands at a consistent pace. "You should know," she would say, in between, "to become a Knight, 50 push-ups should be child's play for you."-------------------------------------------------------

Fenrir was doing his reps like a breeze, this was the perfect bit of exercise to help him test his endurance, the after workout work out! When he felt something light sit on his back he looked back to see Asura, she actually humored him and it made him glad she’d do such she was helping him trian even harder. ‘Heh, i’m totally gonna asks her to do this again when we’re training together.’ he lowered himself again making it to the count of twenty already, though her added weight made him slow just a bit he’d pick his pace back up when his second wind came.
Though the boys were adamant, they seemed most interested in further mocking Asura, which really didn’t seem like a good idea. “C’mon guys these are super easy, I do at least one hundred during my warm up.” he tried his best to motivate the youngsters before realizing that Asura had gotten off of his back and began doing them herself.
“N-nani?” he cocked a brow, “Oh I bet I can do more than you Asura!” he smirked, “How about it, loser buys the winner ice cream from the shop down the road.” he’d tease her stopping mid push up.

PEEK-A-BOO"Huh?" Asura would confusedly, ask as Fenrir decided to challenge her to a battle of push-ups. They were supposed to be training the children, not becoming children themselves. Though, she supposed she could humour him for a bit. "Alright then, I accept." She stated and continued her push-ups. "And you all," She referred to the five kids in front of the duo, "If you're done with your push-ups, run 5 laps around the park. If you're not, then what are you waiting for? An invitation?" Maybe she was being a little too rude but these kids deserved it at this point. They looked at each other, some of them a little hesitantly, before they all nodded and ran off to run laps around the park.
It certainly seemed as if they were finally listening now after Asura showcased that she's just as strong as anyone else and her being a woman shouldn't degrade her abilities. As for her bet with Fenrir, well, she already knew she would lose. There was no way or form that her stamina was anywhere close to his and she was ready to accept that. So, after a while, when the blonde was finally beginning to reach her limit, she pushed for as hard as she could and at the point where she couldn't anymore, Asura lay back on the ground and accepted defeat as she panted for air. "Alright, you win."-------------------------------------------------------

Fenrir's challange was accepted! A sight that always made him happy as he waited for her to get going. Keeping up with her pace he'd continue to do push ups adding on to the thirty he had already completed tacking on another few with relative ease, listening to Asura as she fell back in defeated Fenrir stopped, sweat beading his brow, his face shining. "Ha ha, that was awesome Asu, we should work out togehter more often, I'll even show you the training method a friend taught me to build up stamina." he nodded to her, "Why don't you take a breather? I'll handle the kids for a bit." taking off his jacket the Saiyan would roll his shoulders and watch the children make their first lap before stepping infront of them.
"Hold on boys, Asura's gonna be taking a break so I'm gonna train you~" he cooed happily, he'd crack his knuckles and stared at the little ones before him sizing them all up, "Hm, you seem like an active bunch, forget running laps for a bit~" at those words the boys all seemed to jump for joy thanking the Lycan for his compassion.
"That doesn't mean we're done, I'm gonna train you the same way I train." with that he'd fall into a crouched fighting stance, "Alright, we'll be doing things a bit differently, all of you try your best to copy my stance but be careful not to clench your fist too tight." he instructed, watching as the children mimiced him.
"Now, we're going to start with a swift punch with everything you've got!" he cocked back his fist and punched the air, doing the same with hsi other as he'd alternate the two, "Slow pace, keep your fist steady."

PEEK-A-BOOAt Fenrir's mention of taking a break, the blonde nodded and sat up, glad to have him take care of the kids for a moment. From afar, she watched as he stopped the kids and motioned for them to follow him. The blonde couldn't hear exactly what he was saying but it seemed to be some form of fighting stances. Well, that was good, at least. Asura had tried to build their stamina but Fenrir was teaching them the technicalities which was a good thing as Asura normally went with her instincts when it came to fighting, not that she was that good at it either.
The sun was starting to set and it would seem as though their training of the little kids would end soon. Good riddance, Asura couldn't handle much more of this. If she remembered right, she was supposed to go to Armin afterwards in order to get some money. As she looked at Fenrir, she nodded to herself, deciding that they'd share it of course. Maybe she'd buy him his treat with her share of the money. After all, even though it was sudden, he did help her quite a bit. She didn't think she could handle these kids without his help. As the sun was setting, she sat there, on the grass, her sword beside her as she patiently waited for him to finish his training with the kids.-------------------------------------------------------

He probably should have taken it easy on the boys, but he more or less made them do harder excersises as punishment for the way they treated his friend. With his hands on his hips he cracked his neck and smirked, "Alright kids, your dismissed, be sure to keep practicing your form though you all are pretty sloppy and need some better adjustment on your high kicks." with that he'd nod to the boys as they walked off towards a water fountain. Fenrir, still feeling the desire to train looked back at Asura with a smile.
"Thank you for the excersise, I really needed the work out." he chuckeld as he picked up his jacket and threw it over his shoulder, "So what are you doing after this? Gonna head to the barracks or?" he was at a loss for words as he rubbed the back of his neck with a grin, :Sorry if I'm prying ha ha." He'd look up at the sky, "Man, I can't believe it's almost night already... i thought we could hang ha ha."

PEEK-A-BOOThe blonde slowly got up and dusted herself off as she watched Fenrir end the training for the kids. They slowly walked away, towards the water fountain probably, to catch their breath back because from what Asura had seen, Fenrir's training was intense. She wouldn't want to be caught up in it. That is, until she realized that she's going to be training with him for a while afterwards, in the mountains, according to their plan.
He approached her and asked her a few questions, apologizing for prying afterwards. The blonde shook her head and dismissed his apology, shooting him a look of 'really?'. She thought for a second before suddenly, remembering their deal. "Aren't I supposed to buy you ice-cream? We could get that first and then I can head to HQ." She paused for a second, suddenly remembering something else as well. "Oh right, but before that, we need to go to Armin Bathomelow to get the reward for doing this. He's supposed to pay us." After Fenrir would agree, Asura would head out of the park after making sure the children left safely and the duo would make their way to Armin who'd thank them continuously for their hard work today and how sorry he was to force this upon them. He, of course, paid them before the two were on their way.
"Well, take your pick. It's my treat." The blonde would say to Fenrir as they would stand in front on an ice-cream parlour and she'd choose cookies and cream.
Today, although tiring, did indeed turn out to be quite a rewarding and surprisingly, fun day.[EXIT]-------------------------------------------------------
