The walk to Orchidia from Crocus wasn’t all that long, but it was still tiring. Thankfully, he didn’t have to walk all the way to Marigold. Once he reached Orchidia, he walked into a fine restaurant, had a good fill of rich and tasty food with the money he stole from the poor victims of Crocus, and then made his way to the train station. He debated on whether he should buy the train ticket or if he should just freeload it, and then finally decided to get one only because he saw a Rune Knight squad in the vicinity. The security has been beefed up severely after the attack in the capital.

Once he boarded the train, he couldn’t wait for it to move. The young elf was impatient and kept tapping his feet on the wooden floor, annoying his fellow passengers. He didn’t care much; it wasn’t like he was going to meet them again after this journey. Furthermore, it was better if they were annoyed at him. That way, no one would bother with small-talk. The black-haired elf had enough things to worry about already. Finally, the train moved and he sighed visibly. He hoped Zyra was still in Marigold and did not end up being caught by her father’s men. It would be a shame if he let her slip right under his fingers. If nothing worked out, she was supposed to be his plan B towards the nobility status.

The journey felt terribly long for the impatient elf. But, finally, he was there. Now, it was time to find his friend and take her far away from anyone who might capture her and return her to her family. Thankfully, she was naïve enough to trust in Keryth. Exiting the train, Keryth walked out of the station and stretched out. Seems like a great place to make some cash. No matter how much money the boy had, he wasn’t satisfied. Of course, he wasn’t one to forget the final goal. So, Zyra came first; he walked briskly towards the closest food stall and began inquiring about a blonde-haired elf with sea-green eyes. The poor guy had no idea Zyra had modified her hair and eye colour escape her pursuers. Now, would the two run into each other ever? At least, Keryth was still recognizable.
