ManaSinaloa catnapped on a wooden bench, sprawled out across the warm wood. She had a habit of not sleeping in the night, and waking up the following evening in a public area. It was a good thing she never really kept her jewels in places people would think to look, or she'd be sleeping outside for worse reasons.
Sina was halfway between sleep and alert, yawning and constantly drifting off for only a few minutes at a time. The town square wasn't particularly busy compared to other days. The buzz of the town flowed effortlessly around her, no one even stopping to notice. There were grander, better things to see than what appeared to be a child sleeping next to the fountain. After all. There was work to be done, and shopping in need of bargaining for. Things needing doing, for which they'd all come out of their homes for.
The fountain gurgled and bubbled behind her, calm and peaceful, until children leapt in to play with the water. Cold liquid splashed all down Sinaloa's back, prompting her to wake up with an over-dramatic screech. The entire square focused on her as she tumbled with flailing limbs and unsteady wheezing. Sina wriggled backwards, squeezing her tiny body in the space underneath the bench to stare out at the crowd like a deer in the headlights. Many of them merely chuckled and left her alone, others tssked and shook their heads. Hargeon, as it had been turning out, was not quite the same as Magnolia. In fact, she liked it here much worse.
