HomeSnowflake Beyond The Sun & Stars Silence reigned supreme within the area as the harsh gales blew across the undulating lands of Crocus, wafting through her silver hair that glistened under the moonlight while the two of them enjoyed the beautiful sight above them. It was quiet, apart from the sounds of crickets loitering in bushes and trees nearby and some loud tunes played at inns and bars from a far distance. The streets they walked along were lit up by a pearly, white crescent moon that hovered in the vast sky that seemed to stretch for eons, as well as the street lamps that were paved on the side of the roads. Seconds plodded, each separated by an eternity and she wished that this moment would last longer. Despite how none of them were conversing, both were comfortable with the silence and it was not necessarily bad. In fact, she enjoyed it, appreciating what nature had given to all living beings and the starry sky above. All of a sudden, she felt the warm touch of Chelvaric hands against hers before he would grasp her hand into his, their fingers interlacing among each other. Surprised, Snowflake turned to look at him, but he seemed to be content with gazing what was beyond him. Nevertheless, she did not loosen her grip and gently curled her fingers around his and stared down at the space between her heels awkwardly. It was quite embarrassing but she liked the feeling of having his large hands enveloped over hers. Shortly after, they would reach by the place she had rented for the time she was going to remain in Crocus. Snowflake climbed over the porch before turning around to say goodbye. She’d receive a kiss on her cheek as a farewell gift and Snowflake was left stunned, with an immensely blushing face. ”Good night...” Her voice trailed off, her eyes dazed and dreamy as her thoughts wandered off immediately. Fingers gently brushed over her cheek, feeling the place where Chelvaric had placed a kiss and desperately failed to stifle a smile to herself. It was then she realised that her feelings towards Chelvaric were probably more than just friends. { EXIT } |
