Personal Name: Evangeline Vanderbilt Age: 20 Gender: Female Class: Shaman Rank: D-Rank Guild: Rune Knights Tattoo: Just a little below her collarbone in blue. Face: Joan of Arc/Alter from Fate/Apocrypha Appearance Height: 5' 8'' Weight: 54 Kg Hair: Platinum Blonde Eyes: Amber Overall: Evangeline, at a glance, is simply pretty. She has long, thick platinum blonde hair styled to flow freely behind her. Like calm waves, her hair often creates a soft frame around the thin girl when she stands still. Within her gentle heart shaped face, her confident eyes blaze amber in color, protected by long raven black eyelashes. As expected of someone working as a professional model, her 5’8 build stands above most women her age. She is slender but noticeably healthy. Complementary to her height is her long legs and a really thin waist. Her fair skin glows a perfect shade of pale pink, smooth and soft to touch. But, she has a slightly less than average chest size which, while she notices, has yet to bother her. Being a model and a dancer, it's no surprise that she was taught poise and fashion before anything else, a fact that stands out even if she is simply walking down the street. Evangeline effortlessly gives off a fresh, gentle vibe around her. Her features are soft yet sharp and she is never seen without a pleasant smile adorning her lips. Eva is as natural as the air around her. She even walks like a breeze; soft, silent, and graceful. She just blends in with the atmosphere in a way that makes her stand out and call attention to her while letting everything around her simply complement her. Extra: Eva’s right eye glows with a sacred symbol whenever she used her magic, an indication of the contract she made with Anemoi. Personality Personality: First impression of Eva for anyone would be that she is a simple, graceful, and gentle person. She speaks not a word out of line, there are never any exaggerations, and she carries herself with the perfect air of pride and dignity that can awe anyone into her favor. She is your typical Mary Sue character with a kind smile and accepting eyes. Her manners and poise are always at their peak, carrying an air around her that immediately makes people want to respect her. She seems like the perfect bundle of all sorts of perfect virtues that makes her glow like the angels in heaven. Even inside the over-glorified show-biz industry, she is a gem in the rough that anyone and everyone loves to work with. Simply, she is perfect. But there is one fact that only a select few –namely her father- knows. She is only your typical rich girl craving some attention. Deep down, Eva is not the perfect girl that everyone thinks of herself to be. She could, in fact, be considered one of the most spoiled brats in the world. She has received everything a girl could from a very young age, except for love and acceptance. Circumstances has made her skillfully train herself to be the perfect mix of crafty and deceptive. She learned, from her neglected past, the strings that needs to be pulled and manipulated to get the attention she wants. Eva has a great understanding of what she likes and what she dislikes. Being a perfect angel outside doesn’t stop her from being the perfect devil inside. She is not the most cleanly or organized person in the world either, despite her looks. Eva is known, only to her maids, for the heaps of garbage that accumulates inside her room. It’s a zoo for anything unhealthy and no matter how many times the maids gossip about it, people still find it difficult to imagine their angel in any other way. Her closet cannot even be hopped to be visited for the pile of silk, cashmere and frills that are thrown around with very little care. Nonetheless, she does keep those things that she has taken a liking to, neat and tidy. It’s almost like her own principle in life; keep those that she wants and throw away those that she doesn’t. But, despite everything, she does have a really big sense of justice. She is neither a kind nor virtuous person but she truly prides herself on the fact that she has never let herself wrongly hurt anyone. She has a good understanding about the limits of her personality and what she can allow herself to do and not. She is observant that way, not just on herself but on others too. With her job and upbringing, she has met so many kinds of people that no one surprises Eva anymore. She has taught herself to observe others well and act accordingly, one of the reasons why her dual natured personality is never found out. Deep down in her heart, she is only another hurt individual struggling to be free from herself. Long years of ignorance and helplessness has made her close her heart off to others. Probably the only thing in the world that she enjoys doing is dancing. It’s the only passion in her life other than being a Rune Knight. Likes:

Magic Magic Name: Wind God: Contract Magic Element: Wind Magic Description: This magic came to be when Evangeline (the details of when this happened is unknown so far) made a contract with the wind God, Anemoi. The magic entails using wind and its properties to attack, support and create special spells that could debuff Eva’s opponents. The contract’s details are unknown so far but as long as it’s in effect, Eva’s powers are close to or even equal to the powers of Anemoi. This means that she can bend the air around her to her will and create spells based on it. History History: Dominic Vanderbilt was only a young and budding businessman when he first met Rosalind Spring. He was the descendent of an old aristocratic family that, like many others, lost its glory and power in the centuries old run that it had to withhold. Nevertheless, they were still prideful of their ancestry and it didn’t surprise any of Dominic’s friends when he announced, rather bizarrely at that, after a night of drinking that he was going to make the town’s beautiful florist, Rosalind, his. Rosalind was only an ordinary girl. But she was still gorgeous enough to turn the heads of many young men and break the hearts of just as many. Rosalind wasn’t the least bit interested in Dominic until the persistent man, like Romeo reincarnated, kept knocking on her window with pebbles. Romance bloomed when they met each other countless times, both accidentally and not, afterwards. And not too long after, Dominic and Rosalind truly fell for each other. However, the first obstacle came in the form of Dominic’s father who opposed the idea of allowing a normal girl into their prestigious household. Albeit Dominic, in his rush of youth, boldly married Rosalind even without his father’s permission. As if Goddess Fortuna herself blessed the small family, Dominic’s business suddenly took off. In a very few years, he was one of the most successful businessmen in the country. But, along with the business, Dominic’s greed and thirst for power and money took off as well. He spent little time home with Rosalind, left her to care for herself, but still displayed affection only as a ritual. Soon, on a rainy march night, Evangeline was born. It was after her precious baby’s birth that Rosalind really started seeing the changes in her husband. He wasn’t as attentive or caring as before, he dismissed everything about her and the baby with an effortless indifference, and for some reason, Dominic never came home for many nights, always claiming to be away on business trips. Rosalind tried to pass it off as stress from his work at first. She didn’t dare to think that her darling husband was meeting with another woman, one far more beautiful and rich than her. But Truth has a strange way of showing itself when you least expect it. For Rosalind, that moment came on the day of her child’s first birthday. Dominic was completely avoiding Rosalind at this point when she discovered her husband curled up around another woman in their own room. He had decided that he would get married again, this time to the heir of a large corporation, and soon forced the idea into Rosalind too. She was to be his wife only in name, she would get an old room in the house, countless maids and butlers to look after her, and be given anything she needs. However, she was to never show her face outside again, pretend to be sick, and only appear when he wants her to. ~~~~~~~~~ Eva was only three years old when her mother decided to take her own life. At that time, she did not know why her mother looked sad or why she cried when she stabbed herself. And not too long after her mother’s death, her father’s other wife had given birth to a baby boy. When Eva attended her own mother’s funeral, her father was celebrating the birth of Vanderbilt’s new heir. Soon, Eva was left alone to be taken care of by the butlers and maids while her father visibly became happier with his new wife and son. Eva learned, painfully, that she had no place in that house or in that family. From there, it was a long and tiring childish struggle to make her father notice her. She used everything that she could to draw Dominic’s attention. At first, it was just her inner child looking for her father’s acceptance but sometime along the road, it became a sort of rebellion against the man who drove her mother to suicide. Finally, she decided to break away. Eva discovered, at the age of thirteen, her passion for dancing as she first saw her stepmother taking lessons in ballroom dancing. She retraced those steps in secret, and repeated them over and over again until waltz wasn’t enough for her anymore. There was an unexplainable craving inside of her to dance more and more until she finally entered an academy specialized in just that. The academy became a platform to showcase her natural talents until she was recruited by an agency to become their model. From the financial support of her modeling career, she was able to take her first step into professional dancing too. But the true Evangeline Vanderbilt had already hidden herself behind a mask of perfection. She had cursed away the insecurities and fears that threatened to spill inside of her. She placed walls around her and banished anyone that even attempted to cross over. In her heart, she had decided that relationships, be that of any kind, would only expose one’s vulnerability and drag them down. |
