Odin †

It was getting late, and Odin had only just gotten to the pub from a small café in Oak town, after having had a rather interesting time with his guild mate: Nastasya inside the catacombs of the Oakland Church. After having entered the catacombs to escape Rune Knight capture, the two had navigated the labyrinthine underground to get back to the surface, having to face strange slime monsters with an aversion to fire. After getting back to the surface, they had gone to the aforementioned nearby café for food and drink, to get some strength back after a hectic day, but also while keeping an eye on the church, and the Rune Knights which surrounded it. Having played the part of a couple, Odin had been effectively forced, due to his current lively state, to invite Nastasya to the nearby pub he was already planning on visiting, despite their previous escapades in a tavern in Crocus. Looking at the sign as they both entered, Odin couldn't help but feel a small tinge of amusement as he watched the members of the pub, which lived up to the establishment's reputation. Bandits, wretches and the general scum of the Earthland flocked to this pub, and it was a great place to relax without the concern of the Rune Knights happening past, as even they avoided the intimidating building. Sitting down at the bar on a bar stool, with Nastasya next to him, Odin ordered a strong beer to start him off with, before gesturing for Nastasya to order.

"This is a good place for us to avoid the watchful gazes of the knights. Not quite the Ark, but it's just as inconspicuous."

Since Odin had invited her to go and drink with him in a bar, she had accepted. It was not like she had anything better to do but to shower after their adventure in the catacombs of the Church. She had at least been able to wash of the slime from her feet and shins before they had entered the city so she was fine. Still dressed in the same skirt that reached just below her knees and was in the form of a pencil skirt and her black high heels, she was a bit of an odd looking person to enter a bar like the Swineherd. Which was weird because normally she would look fine right now to enter a cafe or bar or pub but this one containing the scum and bandits made her almost feel like a cherry on a cake. Some guys were looking up at her but her smile disappeared quickly, not that she wasn't amused by it but she shouldn't look weak. Her face stood neutral and thanks to her eyepatch you wouldn't make the mistake to think she was just some weak ass girl. Besides the guys their eyes travelled to Odin and apparently no one had the need to stand up and walk to her.

It felt as if she was the only girl here but she couldn't see everyone their faces so she doubted it. She followed Odin to sit on one of the bar stools at the bar. Odin ordered first and she turned to the barman and ordered a cosmopolitan. If they were going to drink, she wasn't going to sit here and drink a club soda. Which was ridiculous. She looked forward to it. It had been a long time ago since she had drank like this. Not counting the malt whiskey that Yumi had ordered and where she had taken a bit off, she didn't like that. She turned to look at Odin and smiled, "I think it looks cozy." it was half joking, half true. It was better than the cute cafes that were in Oak Town. She remembered the one with Yumi, with the maids, that was ridiculous. "You come here often?" She had no idea how long Odin might have been in town yet or how long he would stay.

As Odin and his partner entered The Swineherd Pub, all eyes flocked to them, eyeing up the new people who had walked in, trying to work out if they were friend, for or otherwise. It was rare that anyone here was classed as a friend, but rarely still that a foe entered the establishment. It had happened from time to time, Odin himself had witnessed it long before becoming a mage of Grimoire Heart, back during his time alone after having lost his father. One of the many days he spent in oak, doing odd jobs as and when he could, he had first come into the Swineherd, and that day some plucky Rune Knight page had though to follow a bandit inside. It was a complete shit show, the pub did not take kindly to Rune Knights, and everyone knew that, not even the strongest of knights dare attack alone, but there was no dirt on the pub itself, only the people who frequented it.

As they both received their drinks at the bar: Odin his beer and Nastasya her cosmopolitan, his partner remarked that the place looked cozy and asked if Odin was a frequent drinker here, to which the young mage, between mouthfuls of alcohol, looked at his bottle and spoke, "Yeah... something like that." He still didn't trust her enough to tell her more than she already knew, and even that was quite a lot. Signalling the barman, who recognised a loyal customer and approached, Odin ordered two shots of strong spirit for both he and Nastasya. "You saw the church, Mac. It's been one of those days." A grunt was all he received from the barman, who went to grab their order, as Odin washed down the last of his beer in a few short gulps. That may have just been a new record for how quickly he'd finished a bottle.

It was an interesting sight. There were quite many people and she could compare it with a lot of places she went. She didn't know why but she never visited the places with the bandits and such. If you would look for one place than it would be the shop of Mabuz. But yeah that was more necessary than drinking places. She always went to the light places, barely at night, than she would order to her hotel room. But this was a great exception, she might even do it more often. There were also other bars. But today this might even be a better expectation, since well there were too many Rune Knights in town and there might be a priest that would recognize her because of the eyepatch. It was nice to give them some rest, forget her face and so on.

She understood a bit that Odin was vague. It was a risk to tell each other things. There might be people that want to tell tales about the others. She wasn't like that, but than again she wouldn't just randomly say that. She would see, she didn't plan to tell him everything about her life either. She looked surprised at him though when he said it was one of those days to the Bartender. Really? She arched her right eyebrow not really expecting an answer from the guy beside her but he might start. She was sipping her cosmopolitan through a straw, which was definitely a bad idea but she could handle this. She was doubtful about the shot though that was given to them not much later. If Odin didn't answer her unspoken question, she would ask, because apparently he was a loyal customer. "How much does he know?" she whispered, It's been one of these days? Really?"

At Odin's mention of the church, he noticed Nastasya's eyebrow raise quizzically, curious as to why he was trusting this bartender by mentioning the church where they had been just earlier that same day, but it took her a while before she actually said anything, and good she did. If she had stayed silent, Odin would not have bothered answering at all. In this world, a world the young mage knew very well, you had to ask and be blunt and forceful to get what you wanted. Half arsed attempts at getting information did not work in this world. But she did eventually ask, after the shots appeared and the bartender left them both alone. She wondered how much the bartender knew, and why Odin had called it 'one of those days'. The olive haired mage couldn't help himself, he took his shot, shaking his head a little in response to the spirit before he answered.

"He knows most that goes on in this town. Mac's been in this business for a long time, and he knows when he's being lied to. That's all there is to it."

If Nastasya didn't have her shot, Odin himself would simply take it and finish it for her. Either way, with both shot glasses empty, the dark mage would raise his hand to call for two more, nodding his head at Mac who clocked his request. Mac was a useful man to have on your side, and a terrible man to make an enemy of, Odin was very glad he was one of the former in that regard.

She held her fingers around the shot glass but first wanted a satisfying answer of Odin. Well apparently it wasn't that much that the bartender knew but she didn't understand why Odin told him, it wasn't as if they were lying if they hadn't said anything at all. However she didn't come here often, actually she had never been here before so she took the glass and as it was suppose to be with shots, she drank it all at once and felt the alcohol burn in her troat.

She didn't have that much alcohol yet but compared to Odin, she also had less food. Her mind was just going around and maybe become a little more active than before. She stared at the bar, while still drinking her cosmopolitan which was empty rather soon but she didn't remove the straw from her mouth until she finally grasped that one thing that was like almost to far ahead to think about. "I feel like such an idiot!" she exclaimed, maybe a little too hard before she turned back to Odin and said in a softer tone: "I also said that I had no idea what Yumi was planning," she had asked him before, didn't she? "But after we went for something to eat and to drink in one of the local cafes, she brought me to the Church. Just outside and asked me to look at the building. I didn't understand her question really so I simply looked but she pointed out the places that were perfect for destruction. You don't think that she..." she didn't finish the question because it was kind of obvious and even though Odin knew Mac, she didn't and she wasn't sure what to tell him all together.

Nastasya took her shot well, but it was clear that it was starting to get to her, given she'd only had bread and butter before coming here, whereas Odin had had a large burger, meaning it would take a few more shots for him to get truly drunk. The next round came just as his partner exclaimed how stupid she seemed to be feeling, to which the entire pub except Odin looked at her curiously, Odin choosing instead to take down the second shot before listening to what Nastasya had to say.

She mentioned Yumi, which instantly got Odin wary especially with the mention of the plan now that so many were looking her way. She recalled the day they had both gone to a cafe and then to the church, where Yumi had pointed out the perfect ways to destroy it. That was as far as she got for Odin, as he knew where her train of though was bringing her. Moving in the blink of an eye and placing his hand over her neck with force, Odin stopped Nastasya's breathing for a second, silencing her before she could say anymore. Her breath would return without issue, but for now she would have to listen.

"Watch your tongue, friend, or I may be forced to remove it."

Despite saying the word friend, Odin's voice was low, lacking emotion, and not expecting a reply. He simply had said friend because the other two names would be too much information for the others to know in the bar.

"And her name is Yuni."

She didn't care that people were looking at her. They were either drunk enough or soon dead enough to not remember a thing. Besides she was whispering, sitting close enough to Odin, she was even well aware that the bartender might try to listen but she whispered that soft that he wouldn't even hear it. Maybe to Odin it would sound too loud since well it was next to his ear.

She didn't her sentence because she would think he would pick the obvious answer but instead he thought she might finished. Making her almost stop breathing and now she was coughing while he warned her. "Maybe you already drunk enough. They couldn't hear me, deary," avoiding to say his name out loud but she was a little bit pissed. "You think that after our adventure today because of my tongue, I would say such things loud enough. If your dear beloved bartender doesn't like lies, you can ask him if he heard what I said. Because I can tell you, he didn't." Again she spoke in hushed tones or better said: she was hissing with anger. And since Mac was standing the closest to them, that was the best example she could pick. She took the shot and downed it immediately and ordered for a new cosmopolitan.

Being degraded by Nastasya, sober or not, was not something Odin had expected, especially after strangling her. She was complaining that she had been quiet enough that none of the patrons of the bar could hear a word she said, and then came a snarky comment about Odin asking Mac, the bartender if he had heard anything, since he hated lying and liars. Odin just looked away briefly, rolling his eyes as he looked around the room, at all the people, most of whom had gone back to their own business now. The point wasn't the volume at which she had spoke, it was simply the fact that she had spoken. People could have very good hearing, or listening devices hidden under the table. Regardless of the volume, one should not speak openly about such things in a place like the Swineherd.

"All walls have ears, some stronger than others."

As Nastasya's second cosmopolitan was ordered and arrived, Mac also had started to get with the programme, and brought over two more shots of vodka for the two. Gesturing to the bartender, Odin also ordered another pint of beer, finishing it in one drink before also taking the shot straight after it. Needless to say, once he had completed his two drinks, he was rather drunk, which was when Mac came over to him and whispered in his ear.

"You know, there's a man in the far right corner who's been asking after those catacombs the Rune Knights were interested in, sounds like he wants someone to go in and get something for him. Some folk tried to show off and head inside -you know the types- but we haven't heard from them or seen them since. That was around 3 this afternoon, just after the Rune Knights had vacated the area."

Gesturing to the man in question, Odin momentarily glanced over at a man sitting all in black, his face hidden by the shadows of his hooded cloak. Nodding thanks to Mac for the information, Odin looked at Nastasya, who now had her drink, a faint grin appearing on the face of the olive haired mage as he spoke.

"Wanna go for one more round with the slimes?"

Maybe he had a point that it wasn't smart to talk about it out here and not somewhere private or just talk about it in general. But she had already forgotten a little what she had said however she muttered that she would kill the people close to them if it was necessary. However this time she didn't say it loud enough for anyone to hear.

She sipped her cosmopolitan with the straw and looked to the vodka again. Well why not. There was something that Yumi had said, about drinking and magic.. fighting.. she couldn't remember and just took the shot before continueing and actually finishing the cosmopolitan. She couldn't really hear what the bartender was saying but she couldn't help but giggle a bit. It was stupid, she knew that but there was nothing to stop her after two cosmopolitans and three shots and no food.

She looked at Odin with suspicion and put her glass back on the counter. "Sounds like fun but let me at least change shoes." She didn't want to go on bare feet again. And actually it didn't sound like fun and yet it did.. yeah.. she was at the stage between tipsy and drunk and everything seems funny. "Or we could first relax more, than go back."

It seemed both Nastasya and Odin were at the same stage of intoxication: tipsy yet not quite completely drunk, which caused his partner to start giggling despite no one having made any jokes, as well as state that she wouldn't mind delving back into the catacombs, but she did at least wish to change her shoes first, which was completely understandable, since she had after all been forced to walk in her bare feet due to the high heels being a nightmare on the stone flooring of the catacombs, and to fight in. As she suggested they relax a brief bit more before leaving, the next round of shots arrived, these two different looking than the previous vodka shots. Looking at the bartender, Odin would only receive a brief smile, before Mac gestured towards the drinks, as if he were issuing the two a challenge. That could mean only one thing: whatever was in the two shot glasses was either going to finish them off, or give them a good night. With a grin now formed on his face, Odin picked up the shot glass, and looked at Nastasya.

"It seems like this last shot will be all we need."

Raising it and mouthing the word 'Cheers', Odin took the shot, and instantly felt the effects, his head flying up straight as his eyes watered, forcing him to blink rapidly to clear them. Mac was right, that was a good shot, and Odin could now see his vision, or rather, his lack of, as it began to blur around him, twisting in various shapes and sizes. Oh yeah, this was going to be an interesting evening.

It was just the idea of going back into the catacombs that was on one hand very funny, because that's how they escaped and what not and on the other hand very annoying. She had her fair share of blisters, thank god on one hand again she had walked on bare feets so she didn't have blisters this time but the slime wasn't a good exchange for that.

It was as if she was watching herself, like she sat on the bar stool next to the girl that could now giggle about nothing but still tried to hold it in. It was like watching herself grab the shot that Mac brought to them, that wasn't clear as the vodka and smelled a little different and super strong. Although she would say no to that, especially not if they would still go into the catacombs, herself just downed it in one try. It wouldn't surpise her if she would fall of the barstool. However the now probably drunk Nastasya grabbed the counter with her fingers and nails and stayed on the barstool. It was almost worthy for an applaus.

"Yeah right.. We.. we.." for talking she needed to concentrate too much. "Shoes. I need other shoes." which again seemed fluently but there was a short giggle. Great she was one like that: a drunk person that would laugh about anything.

Nastasya, not being as used to the alcohol as Odin was clearly, reacted very differently to the shot than the young, olive haired mage. While Odin just shot up with blurred vision, Nastasya seemed to almost fall out of her chair, having been hit very hard by the alcohol as it passed down her throat. After grabbing onto the bar to keep herself from falling to the ground, Odin's partner in crime tried to speak, failing miserably before saying the right words to help get her meaning across. Honestly, Odin had forgotten about her request between now and when she had first said it only moments ago, but he knew she was adamant that she wanted a better set of shoes if they were to go back into the catacombs. Standing up, and stopping himself from wobbling by resting a hand on the bar, Odin looked at his partner and nodded a few times too many.

"How's about*hiccup*meet*hiccup*five minutes. Hmm?*hiccup*"

Nasty got of her bar stool and almost immediately let her foot bend inwards because of the heels. Why was she wearing them again? There was a reason for today. "I think, I need more.." she giggled again, "Than five. Need to walk to the hotel and back, if I can." It didn't sound to bad but she might or actually she knew for sure that it was smarter to get her heels off especially if she wanted to make it sooner.

She wobbled to the exit after having paid for her drinks, at least she could remember that. She needed fresh air because for a minute she thought she had to throw up. She managed to get to the door by holding on to unfortunate people and stools, chairs and tables before she made it to the door and was able to lean against the building as soon as she got outside. No broken hips, knees or ankles even though the wrong shoes.

Between giggling, Nastasya managed to say that she'd need more than just five minutes to get to her hotel and back. Stopping himself for a moment, Odin realised that she was right, and that five minutes was a ludicrous time to get to her destination and return, as well as picking a new pair of shoes to wear. The most amusing part was when she mentioned that she questioned whether or not she'd make it back to the hotel which caused Odin to raise an eyebrow, but he said nothing as he watched Nastasya leave for her hotel room, stumbling her way to the exit and then disappearing from sight. A few moments later, after thinking to himself, Odin too left for the church, planning to meet Nastasya outside, and thinking that she'd know that was where they were to meet, despite not having said anything to her.

Standing outside the church, Odin couldn't help but look at the old building, with all its indents and broken bricks. An idea formed in Odin's head, one that he would never attempt sober due to its recklessness, but the drunk mage was more than happy to try it out. Walking to what looked like the easiest wall, Odin placed his hand on the stone wall, running his hand over the rough surface before choosing the best path. Within a few minutes, he'd gotten the hang of it, and within eight minutes from starting out, he had reached the roof of the building, smiling as he sat on top of one of the arches, his intoxication stopping him from caring about the cuts and bruises that had formed due to his stupid idea. But, it was certainly going to give Nastasya a scare when she showed up, if she wasn't already there watching him. What would she say if she was sober?

She didn't know how long it took her before she was again walking on bare feet to her hotel but the wobbling was a little bit less now. She entered the luxury hotel where she was staying, giggled at the people behind the desk and wobbled to the stairs and up to it. Which took her long enough before she finally arrived at her room. Which had atleast taken a minute or maybe even two before she was done with finding the key and putting it in the keyhole before she could open it. Leaving just the key in the door and just the door open, she went inside and threw her heels in the corner of the room. She simply searched for something to wear in the closet and realized that her skirt was not good enough. She giggled again, even hiccuped before she put on some pants, with the greatest struggle and her sneakers because the boots she couldn't even get on.

She had dropped her leather jacket or had not even taken it from the bar and stood outside. She leaned against the door while she looked it and with some difficulty went back down the stairs. Now standing in a loose black button up shirt and black jeans with bright red all stars in the cold air outside, she skipped in some sort of way to the church. It had taken her around ten minutes. She fumbled her hair up into a ponytail, almost showing her insignia that was on the back of her neck. She arrived at the church but didn't see Odin anywhere.

"Ah shit. Oh shit. Fuck, no. Shit. Shit. SHIIIIIIIT!"

The extensive vocabulary of the young Grimoire Heart mage echoed throughout the streets of Oak and his story progressed, and almost ended. Deciding he was bored looking at stars in the night sky on top of the church, he had decided to walk around the rooftops to try and see when Nastasya was going to show up. After all, he couldn't wait to see her face when she saw that he had managed to climb the Oak church. So that he could get a good vantage point, Odin had been walking along the edge of the roof, which began this, albeit short, epic tale.

As he walked, Odin dropped something out of his pocket, having held onto it to look at and study. The letter, addressed to him from Yumi, fell from the roof and began to float down into the street below, causing the first expletive to escape Odin's mouth. The second came from the realisation that it was going to fall from the roof. The third: the realisation that it was too low for him to now grab it. The third, fourth, and final swear came from his decision to try and grab it anyway, due to its importance. This undoubtedly led to Odin himself, having grabbed the letter, falling from grace to his definite demise. At least, it would've been definite if not for the help of Odin's sheer dumb luck. Some stupid, brave, and unfortunate slime had escaped the catacombs, leaving through the entrance in the church, and currently standing outside the church. Its soft, slimy body was a perfect cushion, as the olive haired mage fell directly onto it, leaving unscathed as the slime burst, instantly dead, from the force. Sitting down, covered in slime, Odin saw Nastasya standing right in front of him, no doubt having seen the entire ordeal. Putting the letter back where it belonged, Odin stood up and brushed himself off.

"Well,*hiccup*that was fun.*hiccup* Let's go."

Nastasya had arrived not much later at the church. It was a bit weird because she could spot Odin anywhere. Besides her foggy mind wondered if it was smart to go through the front door. She was looking left and right. But her partner didn't show up at this point untill she heard something and looked up in surprise. She wobbled a bit because she had to take some steps back, at least she managed to stay upright. But the neasea showed up again. Giving her the feeling she had to puke and giggle at the same time. "What are you doing?" she had to ask because she couldn't see what was going on. She could only giggle again.

She walked to the door when the slime appeared and she couldn't stop laughing because it looked so stupid but it was not more than a giggle. However she almost snorted and definitely laughed out loud when the slime was splashed by Odin. "That was hilarious." she nodded though for the let's go part. It wasn't difficult to go through the main door since the slime had already taken care of it. However she heard the footsteps of the priest. She was looking for her daggers, coming to the point that she noticed she didn't bring it with her and giggled. "What do we do now?"

Odin wasn't sure if Nastasya had completely understood the gravity of what had just happened, and that Odin had almost died. Although, to be fair, Odin himself didn't really know the gravity of the situation. He knew that he'd almost hurt himself, but he'd ignored everything past that point. What had happened had been incredibly reckless and foolish, but Nastasya saw the humour in it just as much as Odin did, laughing louder than any other time when the poor slime was completely crushed under the weight of the falling mage. But then they headed into the church itself, hearing footsteps echo around the building as soon as they entered, no doubt belonging to the priest who presided over and lived in the chapel. The priest was far away from view and not worth their time today, as he had not part to play in this story, so Odin simply ignored his presence, and began to walk towards the door to the catacombs, whispering to Nastasya as best he could, although the volume of his words was all over the place, as he stumbled down the cold, stone steps towards the catacombs, half of him interested as to what they could find beyond the slimes, and the other half of him too intoxicated to form rational thoughts.

"It'll be FINE, IGNORE HIM. Let's just GO!"

Nastasya was frozen like a bunny. she was staring at the empty dark room and the door that was far away from her. Not the door to the catacombs. She only moved when Odin called for her and she followed him and closed the door sloppy behind her. They had been here before but this time she didn't feel the slimy floor because she was wearing proper shoes. She couldn't wait for the torches to go on again though.

There was probably a lot that she would have asked if she was sober, but than again Odin wouldn't have climbed to the church roof if he was sober too. So the questions were forgotten. "You look slimy." was all she said with a giggle. Finally the torches went on and they came back to the point where the road split into three. No slimes were being seen yet, but she heard them and again went looking for a dagger until she made it out of shadows. "Here they come again." If she would have to get her feet off the floor now again, it would be more of a problem.

Ignoring the priest seemed to be a good course of action, as the man did not appear and instead the two mages were left to enter the catacombs without any further issues. The door had still been unlocked since their first encounter earlier that day as well, which made things much, much easier. As they ventured back to the cut off, that was where the road split into three, the torches in the cave system lit up once more, revealing the way and making it much easier to see the slimes that were no doubt coming towards them. Three paths, one of which they knew they had cleared out since the slime was still burned off the path, letting them no none had ventured down that way since they had last been down there.

Nastasya found it hilarious, although she was finding everything hilarious, that Odin was covered in slime from having landed on the one outside. Well it was better that than the other ending to the story, at least Odin was alive this way. But he heard rumblings coming from the other two paths, so he just looked at Nastasya, and asked.

"Well, which one do you want to go down this time?"

Doing an inside riddle of eeny, meeny, miny mo. Which she did in her head but it was kind of obvious that she was doing a riddle to figure it out. She took the one the most to the left, which was totally the opposite of the road they had taken before. It was the most dirties road that there was. "I think they are there." she said with a hiccup ending the sentence. She walked a little bit straight but it still didn't seem as if she get her barings and the floor was a bit slippery which made her wobble again. But soon enough the slimes appeared and since she was the first to walk she made the Scythe "Bye bye." and swung it to make the first few rows of slimes around 15 disappear at once however there were of course more and it was as if they found the nest. Since the slimes covered every piece of the bone walls and ceiling to further in the back. "A bit of fire would be nice." She smiled to Odin, because the slimes were more his specialty.

Odin †

Choosing the path, Nastasya sent the two mages down the left most path, whereas in the past they had journeyed down the right path. The slime on this path was still prominent, although nowhere near as much as the other two paths. Instead, the floor could be seen with dirt on it, and something else, a liquid of some sorts, reflecting the light with a darker tinge than simple water would have. With a start, Odin realised it was blood, and that this path was probably a lot more interesting than any other one they could've picked.

As they began to make their way down the path, the slimes naturally started to appear, with Nastasya being on the receiving end of the group. Despite it only having been a day since they had last been here, both Nastasya and Odin were stronger, as proved when Nastasya brought out a scythe made of shadows and sent an arc at the group of slimes, killing a large number of them, before she turned to Odin to request some fire, which had already shown to be much better at killing the slimes than anything else. Becoming Lucifer, a different personality that was unfortunately not even remotely as drunk as Odin was. Lucifer had no time for the drunkness of the two, and instead was simply here to defeat the foes and get back to enjoying the idiocy of the two, despite how close Odin had come to killing himself. Using the spell 'Ember', and firing it at the clump of slimes, the slime caught fire and wiped out all the remaining slimes, just as it had done before. The moment the battle was over and the slimes were dead, Lucifer reverted back to Odin, not wanting to spend any more time than necessary around the drunk mages.

Nastasya Crowe ✝
Nastasya clapped a bit clumsy with the scythe in her hand before she let it magically disappear. A bit slow, her brains worked on less speed than they normally did so she was a bit slow and thus slugish but still enthusiastic and energetic. It was just her brain. For example she just noticed the trail of blood that was on the floor when she walked passed the exploded burning, crispy slimes and stared at it. For some reason it gave her a very unsetteling feeling but she was drunk enough to not notice it. On ward!" she giggled as she continued to walk.

At one point the hall became bigger and there came some water out of the wall that seemed to form a stream following in the same direction as they were. It was weird that there was water here in the catacombs, she really had no idea if they were still walking further into the depths of the hill or if they were going straight. Again she heard something, it was heavy steps but not remotely close to them and maybe even the sound of.. wings.. she wasn't entirely sure. But they would see it. She tried to be as cautiously as she could but she sometimes stumbled a bit, falling over her own feet although she remained upright. Thank god for the red all stars that she was wearing.

Odin †

Having dealt with all of the slimes in the area and reverted back to Odin, who was once more stumbling around, not used to changing from demon to human which under the influence. Placing one hand on the stone wall for support, Odin began to walk further down the tunnels with Nastasya, noticing the blood on the floor as he did so. Having walked through the tunnels a bit more, the Grimoire Heart mage started to feel his hands get wet along the wall. Bringing his hand away, he noticed that it was simply water, but that was almost as interesting as if it had been something else. This deep in the catacombs, there was no real reason for water to exist. The dead were kept away from moisture, and nothing required water to live. It was then they heard a low roar and heavy steps coming from ahead of them, causing Odin to push himself off the wall, his head swaying but his eyes momentarily fixed on what was coming to get them.

"Shit, here come's something Shadow. Get ready."
