Vex had received an invite to come and fight it was a local bad group that wanted to fight the strongest that are around in Baska and as she is the highest ranked of the original group that formed the guild she was their target and Vex had been looking for them anyways as she wanted to get them off of the streets as it was as they had been striking shops and other places of interest in the area and ruining parks so she was going to probably take great enjoyment in knocking them down a peg and she wonders where what they have up their sleeve if they are inviting her and wanting to face her and other strong people from baska and the west but she was sure that it was a bluff to take her on one on how ever many there would be but she wasn't going to back down as this was something that was long over due for her and she was going to make sure that they got some nice rooms.

Vex grabbed her gear and readied herself as she walked out of the guild hall and started on her walk toward the Baska rock and her right hand cultists joined her and followed along behind her and they looked at the rock and the large group of people that were there and true to their word they were holding a tournament as they felt like no one could beat their champion and Vex expects this not to be a clean fight and that is something that they might think was the right for them to be doing here was to cheat and beat those that were strong to farther root their group in the west and Vex was going to make sure that their garden doesn't grow and Akiza walks right up to the table past the people that were hesitating to sign up as they were scared that the group would kill them.

Her right hand cultists signed up as well as a team to fight against the other tournament that was being held so they wouldn't stand out in the crowd and they would make sure to beat the dark groups team champions for Lady Akiza as she was someone that picked them up as she could have just as easily stepped over them and left them to die but she not only took them in she trained them and guided them even if they were not as attached to Tutrix they knew that they knew that Vex was a woman of great moral standing and they gave their lives to the cult and they serve as her guards and enforcers if they have to be. Vex went into her entry area and looked at the group and they smirked at her as they planned to humiliate her and make her see how weak she is.

Vex grow up with sharks as a minnow she was not scared of them as she as well had grown to become a shark and will not be taken out or scared easily. They call her out for her first match and it was verses an assassin looking woman who spent the start of the match trying to just go for Akiza's neck and Akiza's soon say through the predictable attacks and bloccks with her daggers as she was going to take this woman down swiftly now, so as the assassin went for her next attempt instead of blocking Vex ducked and the assassin had swung as hard as she could and the swing had missed and Vex went into the opening hitting her in the ribs with a stiff kick that left the assassin gasping and holding her side as she fell over. Vex was not taking this lightly as the assassin couldn't catch her breath and get up after the kick that had probably cracked ribs as Vex's boots heel helped to focus the impact.

The dark group was starting to get uneasy as Vex was swapping weapons between her bow and her daggers as the fighter styles differed and Vex being both a close and ranged fighter was making her a hard pest to deal with so they got the champion ready after vex had just taken down another of the underlings and she spared their lives as she was here to fight and win and that was something that was not going to be taken lightly as she was here to have them taken in and she was not going to lose to evil that is poisoning people and their minds. Vex knows from the people being sent in that the champion they have must have studied her and that was going to make the final show down soon a very ugly sight to see. Vex sharpened her daggers and made sure that her bow was not damaged or wearing out from the use of it and that the string was still strong and ready for the scene that was about to unravel.

She made her way back out onto the stage and Carla was giving the dark group a mean look as Carla was wondering how long they were gonna keep up the façade and just come at Vex like they already should have but she knows that something that is off but she hadn't had any visions of despair and death so she was going to keep it to herself and Vex walked to her point on the stage and the enemy came out and they were a huge man with a scar that went straight down the middle of his face and he looked down at Vex and a sick smirk cracked across his face and as the start fight noise hit the giant of a man swung his arm down and Vex dodged back and fired of arrows at the mans body and the man seemed to just shrug it off and she knows that this is bad but she is going to have to not back down and show fear and find an opening and hit that opening no one is invincible everyone has a flaw.

Vex is racking her brain as this man seemed to be invincible and that couldn't be the case or else the man wouldn't have to have this big dick showing fight as they would have just steam rolled people and she had a thought, she swiftly moved in closer to the man and she drew on of her daggers and she hit the man in the heel and a second after the impact the mans foot was knocked out from under him and the fear in the man's fear spoke volumes as the mero dagger had hit big for her and she thinks that it was the full pay out and it couldn't knock him away so it knocked him down. Vex used her void magic to hurt the man with all that she could and he was nearly crying as this was not the way he had seen this going.

Upon seeing the man go down and get bombarded with spells the dark group jumped to act and attack Vex. Akiza had planned for this and circles lit up under the feet of the members that tried to rush the stage and they were captured. Akiza had, had her exceed partner Carla make salt circles with the special soul salt Vex used to help members pass on to be in Tutrix's embrace. But in this case Vex had Carla modify the circle so it only bound them and it link to Carla to be able to activate the circles. Carla then saw a vision of Vex getting split in half by an axe from behind and she screamed to Vex to save her and warn her. "Dodge left now!" Vex hearing Carla yell to her she did as was said and the axe just missed hitting her and Vex was glad that Carla was her and they bind down the big guy and send him off with the rune knights. Vex takes up Carla in her arms and thanks her and heads to go get lunch with her and the right hands that as well won on their side.
