Carmina was wake and ready to go as she woke in her inn room and she gets her self ready as today she was going to be entering again to fight and take on opponents and she was going to make sure that she won the fight as she needed to make some jewels so she isn't kicked out of the inn but she knows that her magic and skills are a bit more in the open after the last time and she needs to make sure that she doesn't get too much attention and press or it will make it harder for her to get new stuff to use as others will fully avoid her as she was not with a guild and she is a wild card and that is what would bring more fear into them as she was sure that she was probably close to being banned from entering as she can take others greatest lives work and throwing it back at them.

Carmina went down and ate her breakfast and she hurried along the path as she went toward where they would be holding the tournament and she could feel people looking at her as she was a freak and she knows that she can't change what was thought of her but she knows that she has good friends that will support her if she needs it and she keeps her head on her shoulders as she signed up and the workers look at her weird as they were not sure if they could allow her to be in todays battles as people had asked that she not be allowed to join the fights as they didn't want to have their magic and arts be stolen by her but they can't ban her as she isn't cheating but they were still talking it over. Carmina headed back to the fighter waiting area with her number as they didn't deny her but they can't do anything about it now but maybe next time she will not be able to join it.

She was not going to waste her time worrying about it as she looked around at the fighters and mages and she is very excited as she might be able to learn stronger magic and fighting styles and that was going to be a good trip and she gets called up first and she walks up and then her opponent walked up and he was a mountain of a man and that scares her a little as she can copy the mans fighting style but not his bulk and defenses so she needed to make sure that she made a good mix of offense and dodging as this man doesn't look like he is going to take risks when he fights her as she can feel his aura. They were escorted out to the battle stage and the fight is started and the man didn't waste a second and went for the instant kill and Carmina dodges the strike.

She then uses a self buff she had seen and grabbed the mans arm and flipped him and she then used a speed buff and rushed to where the man was thrown and she kicked him and the wind went straight of out his lungs. and he went pale as he gasped for air and he felt like his ribs were broken and he couldn't catch his breath and was now questioning what he had gotten into even having cheated to be the one facing her to try and get the contract on her head. The ref called the fight as it was clear the man couldn't keep fighting and then he is helped off the stage and she looked surprised that she was able to do that much damage. She went back to her seat and she listens for which two were up next and they looked at right at her and both said to watch them closely as one of them will be who beats her.

Carmina isn't scared by that but excited as she was ready for some better fights to learn from, she was not really a fan of fighting as her body hurt from using buffs on herself her muscles hurt from it and she watched the two that had called her out to watch them and their fight was good but not great they were clearly only showing off and not fighting so it held very little value for Carmina to watch and she watched other fighters of the day and then she was back up to fight the winner of the two that had told her to watch him. She gets up and she walked to the stage and the man said that she was dead meat it seemed that the dark org had also offered to pay him as well to fight her and take her out of the fights and maybe make her learn her lesson but too bad for them that she was stubborn.

Carmina takes her spot and the man takes his spot with his poison topped dagger that he was going to drive into her and this poison will have a later activation and it will be hard to trace back to him but he will be paid and long gone by then. When the battle began the man made sure to measure his steps as he saw how dangerous the woman could be if she is not taken as a treat and she made the first move here as she was going at him firing a beam from her left and right hand at him. The man just barely dodges them and he wonders if he can really do this or if maybe he had underestimated her as he run at her as he felt that he needed to end it here as soon as he could even if he didn't seen an ideal opening to do it he just had to do it and not give up on that plan.

The man get close enough to do it but she grabbed his wrist and disarm him and then flip kicked him in the chin and set him back but the man pop himself backward and hand spring boards back to his feet as that blow hurt but he only took a glancing blow from it and it could have been a hell of a lot worse for him if she had fully connected and he was going to keep himself back and then come in and get his weapon back if he could find where it went when the woman had disarmed him. Carmina went in on him and was not losing his step as there were things that he needed to do but that was to end this woman but she was charging him instead of him coming in on her this was dangerous and it was unclear who was going to win this but Carmina was going to try her hardest.

The man grabbed for her wrist and Carmina corrected her course and kicked the mans hand away and she then tries the flip kick again but it fully missed and the man get his dagger loose and took a full swing at her but Carmina shifted her weight in mid air and she kicked off of the man and then she landed and she started to box at his ribs and the man still off balance from her using him to kick off of couldn't do anything but get his ribs rocked by her and she doesn't let up on him as he had nothing to lose here and this was an exciting fight and the man had lost his weapon again and she had no idea this man had been trying to kill her but she could see through his sloppy performance in the fight as he seemed distracted to her.

She had pushed him to the edge so when she landed her last clean hit the man fell from the stage being ringed out and the fight was over and Carmina sees a man in a dark suit looking very pissed off at her winning and she wondered what that guys problem was and she went back to the back to rest up for her next few fights as she was going to need as much energy as she can get but that was still worrying that they might have wanted her to get knocked out earlier but she was just doing as the sign said do your best and make sure you keep it a clean fight as she didn't cheat or fight dirty she couldn't wrap her mind around it as there was something off here. The man was now talking to the other fighters off to the side offering them money and power if they were to knock her out and they seemed to not agree to that so the man might be planning to take it into his own hands to get rid of her.
