Kishin stood in front of the entrance of Daragast's lair, staring down at the dragon-like creature. He couldn't help but wonder why Daragast would seek his assistance, besides the scary hunt on it's kind. He was just a simple mercenary, with no magical abilities or any special skills. Even though he's now A-rank, he still doesn't stand out.

As he entered the lair, Kishin's eyes were drawn to the various artifacts and treasures that filled the space. He briefly noticed a glowing orb in the corner, but quickly looked away, focusing on the task at hand. Daragast explained the situation with the cursed wyvern and Kishin listened intently, only nodding in response.

Kishin couldn't help but feel a sense of unease at the thought of facing a corrupted beast. He had heard stories of such creatures and their immense power. He also couldn't ignore the potential danger and the unknown intentions of the cultists who had cursed the wyvern.

As he left Daragast's lair, Kishin's thoughts were consumed by the dilemma. On one hand, he needed the money and the reputation that came with completing such a task. On the other hand, he didn't want to risk his life for something that may not even be worth it, especially when he's come so far in his training.

He walked through the bustling city, lost in thought. Despite the vibrant energy of the people around him, Kishin felt a sense of gloom. He was aware of his own limitations and the fact that he was not a powerful mage like some of the others in the city. He felt mature, knowing that he had to weigh the risks and benefits before making a decision.

As the day passed, Kishin still couldn't come to a conclusion. He knew that he needed more information before making a choice. He decided to gather as much information as he could before making his final decision.

Eventually, he realized he was overreacting. Kishin had trained for this moment for years. He had taken on countless dangerous missions, facing beasts and monsters that others had deemed too dangerous to take on. He was known as one of the best mercenaries in the land by now, but he had never faced a challenge like this one. The corrupted wyvern was a blood-crazed monster that had been corrupted by agents of darkness. It stood tall at five meters with a ten-meter wingspan, and it had terrorized the citizens of the land, attacking anyone who dared to approach it.

Despite his reputation and experience, Kishin couldn't help but feel a sense of fear as he approached the peak of the Era Dungeon. He knew that one misstep could mean the end of his life, and he didn't want to die without being able to prove his worth.

As he climbed the steep cliffs, Kishin's thoughts turned to his past. He remembered the day he had first decided to become a mercenary, the day he had left his former life behind. He had been searching for a sense of purpose, a way to make a difference in the world, and he had found it in his line of work.

But now, as he approached the top of the Era Dungeon, Kishin couldn't help but wonder if he had made the right choice. He was aware of the danger that lay ahead, and he wasn't sure if he was ready to face it.

Finally, he reached the top of the plateau. He stood there, staring at the beast that lay before him. He could feel its eyes upon him, and he knew that the moment of truth had arrived.

Kishin stood without moving atop the plateau, facing the corrupted wyvern. He took a deep breath, trying to steady himself and calm his racing heart. The beast stood before him, its eyes fixed on him, ready to attack at a moment's notice.

Kishin tightened his fist, ready to face the monster. But as he prepared to strike, he remembered something that Daragast had told him. The wyvern was known for its incredible strength and power, and a direct strike from him would likely cause significant damage to the Era Dungeon. Kishin didn't want to cause any unnecessary destruction, so he made a quick decision. Instead of using his full fleshy blows, he would use his shield to bash the wyvern.

With a fierce battle cry, Kishin charged at the beast. Befitting of an A-rank, Kishin has gotten a little full of himself. The wyvern unleashed a powerful blast of wind at him, but Kishin was ready. He raised his shield, blocking the attack and deflecting it away from the cliff's edge. The beast roared in frustration, and Kishin used the opportunity to strike. He bashed the wyvern with his shield, causing it to stumble back.

The battle raged on, with Kishin using his shield to deflect the wyvern's powerful attacks and deliver swift blows of his own. The beast was powerful, but Kishin was cunning. He used his wits to outmaneuver the wyvern and keep it off balance.

Finally, after what seemed like hours, Kishin delivered the final blow. The wyvern roared in pain and then fell to the ground, defeated. Kishin stood over the beast, panting and exhausted, but victorious.

The Rune Knights arrived shortly thereafter, taking the corpse of the wyvern away from the Era Dungeon. Kishin watched as the beast was carried away, feeling a sense of satisfaction wash over him. He had faced the monster and emerged victorious, proving himself to be one of the greatest mercenaries in the land. Now, he just needed to supervise the aftermath.

Despite the danger and the uncertainty, Kishin couldn't help but feel grateful for the opportunity to prove himself. He was a mercenary, yes, but he was also a protector, a defender of the innocent, and a slayer of beasts. He was proud of the life he had chosen, and he couldn't wait for the next challenge that lay ahead.

As Kishin stood on the plateau alone, his mind drifted back to his encounter with the wyvern. The plateau was an expansive, flat area surrounded by towering cliffs on all sides. The wind howled through the area, making it a treacherous place to navigate. But despite the danger, the plateau was beautiful. The sun was setting, casting a warm orange light over the area, and the sky was filled with swirling clouds, lit up by the sun's rays.

From the wyvern's perspective, the plateau was a place of terror. The creature had been captured by cultists who had cursed and corrupted it, turning it into a mindless monster. The wyvern had been trapped on the plateau, forced to defend itself from anyone who dared to approach. It had seen many adventurers come and go, all of them falling before its might. But then, one day, a new challenger had appeared.

Kishin had stepped onto the plateau, his shield and fist at the ready. The wyvern had roared, ready to attack, but something about the mercenary had caught its attention. Kishin was different from the others, and the wyvern couldn't help but feel a sense of respect for the brave warrior. The battle that followed was fierce, but in the end, Kishin had emerged victorious, and the wyvern's reign of terror on the plateau had come to an end.

As Kishin stood there, reflecting on the past, he couldn't help but feel a sense of awe at the power of the wyvern. Despite its corrupted state, the creature had been a formidable opponent, and Kishin was grateful for the opportunity to prove himself against such a monster. He took one last look at the plateau, and then turned to leave, ready for the next challenge that lay ahead.
