As Kishin walked through the streets of Magnolia, he couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. The upcoming request from Guard Captain Devon weighed heavily on his mind. He knew that cults were dangerous and could cause great harm to the citizens of the city, but he couldn't shake off the feeling that he was not the right person for the job. Cults were innately mysterious, and Kishin's methods to fight weren't so mysterious.

He had always been a solitary person, preferring to keep to himself and avoid attention. Even though Kishin sought how to learn, there's some things he'll never grasp. He had never been one for magic or mystics, and had always been content with the knowledge and skills he had acquired throughout his life. He had never felt the need to seek out more power or abilities, which has stopped him from unlocking any mana-related powers at the moment.

But now, as he walked through the streets, he couldn't help but feel a sense of responsibility. He knew that the city was in need of protection and that if there was indeed a cult operating within Magnolia, it was his duty to do something about it. He couldn't help but think back to the scar on Devon's face, a reminder of readiness for danger. He knew that he couldn't let innocent people be harmed because of his reluctance to act.

As he walked, he kept his eyes peeled for any signs of suspicious activity. He knew that cults often operated in secret, and that it would be difficult to find them. But he was determined to do whatever it took to protect the citizens of Magnolia.

He couldn't shake off the feeling that he was not the right person for the job, but he knew that he had to try. He was a mature person, he knew the risks and he knew that he had to be careful. He knew that he would have to be patient and wait for more information before deciding if he'll fight.

He couldn't let his own fears and doubts hold him back. He knew that he had to do everything in his power to protect the city and its citizens. And so, he continued his patrol, determined to do whatever it took to keep Magnolia safe.

Kishin set out on his mission, asking people if they knew anything about possible cults in the area. But for the most part, he was met with dismissive responses and denials of any knowledge of any cult. Suspicious how dismissive people can be. There should be a flaw somewhere.

As he walked through the streets, he began to feel discouraged, but he refused to give up. On his fourth person, he finally found someone who began to ask him questions about his interest in cults, to which he responded as convincingly as possible. The man seemed convinced of his truthfulness and asked him to come by a nearby store later that night, providing him with the password 'Illucifan Nagar' to gain access.

Kishin made his way to the store later that night, using the password provided to gain access. He was led to the backroom, where he found a makeshift tunnel near the wall. He followed the individual down the tunnel, which led him to a large cavern that had been fitted to serve as a place of worship.

As Kishin entered the cavern, he was struck by its appearance. The walls were made of rough, jagged rock and were dimly lit by torches that flickered in the darkness. The ground was uneven and covered in a thin layer of dust, making it hard to walk without slipping. The air was damp and musty, and Kishin could hear the sound of water droplets echoing through the cavern. Everything felt dry rather than magical, which gave Kishin some reassurance if he had to fight.

The cavern was large, stretching far back into the darkness. He could see that it was naturally formed, the walls had formed by the erosion of water, and it made the cavern seemed ancient and mysterious. He could see several small crevices and openings that led off into unknown depths.

At the far end of the cavern, Kishin could see a raised platform with a stone altar on it. The altar was adorned with candles, incense, and other offerings. It was clear that the cult had been using this cavern as a place of worship. Rather than being scared, Kishin feels more like he's seen something interesting.

As he walked deeper into the cavern, he noticed several small alcoves that had been carved into the walls. Each alcove contained statues of various deities, many of which Kishin did not recognize. The statues were crudely carved and seemed to be made of a dark stone, their features were smoothed by time. Each statue had a small offering bowl in front of it, filled with various items such as fruits, flowers, and small trinkets.

He could feel the energy of the place, it was eerie and mysterious. The cavern had a sense of age and reverence that made Kishin feel like he was intruding into a sacred space. He also noticed that there were symbols and inscriptions etched into the walls that he couldn't understand. He couldn't help but wonder about the history and meaning of the symbols, and who could have created them.

The cavern was not well maintained, and he could see cobwebs and other signs of neglect. It was clear that the cult had not been using the cavern for long, and they had not put much effort into keeping it clean. The torches were running low on oil and some had already burned out, leaving areas of the cavern in complete darkness.

As he made his way towards the altar, he could hear the sound of whispering and murmurs coming from deeper in the cavern. It was clear that there were other people present in the cavern, and he knew that he had to be careful.

A man approached him, asking him similar questions to what was asked earlier in the day. Kishin answered as truthfully as possible, and the man seemed convinced, if only for a moment. But then, the man called him a spy and his men gave chase. Kishin played along and ran, since he doesn't know how strong the enemies are. A good sign is that there's nothing being casted.

Kishin quickly turned and ran back through the tunnel, eventually losing them as he went through the alleyways. Once he was sure that he was safe, he returned to Guard Captain Devon to tell him what he had found out. Devon was grateful for the information and rewarded Kishin for his efforts. Kishin returned home that night, feeling a sense of satisfaction for a job well done, he knew that it was not easy but he was glad that he was able to verify things. He was ready to take on any other task that may come his way in the future.
