Vex wandered across a man in need of her help the man pleaded for her to come and help settle a dispute between two rival clans in the Worth Woodsea that are both having their fair share of issues with what they were doing but the side he is representing wants to open a trade between them so they may return to when they were not fighting and when they helped to sustain each other so they are not weakened for out side invaders to just come and wipe out and the man looks at Vex who looks like she is thinking about it and if it was really smart to help them or if they should just figure it out themselves. She figures that if she does help that maybe she could pass the word of Tutrix a bit as well maybe have a small chapter in both of the places that can feed her intel as well as gain more followers and feed her goddess even if they are animal sacrifices.

Vex agrees that she will go and attempt to get this deal done and meet with the client that had sent for her to come and take this on as she was not sure if people should be calling her name to handle tasks like this but the man had asked for her by name which means maybe they are already a follower of Tutrix but she had also been working a lot out of Worth Woodsea so maybe that is what they had heard about and she at least hopes it was one of the two or maybe because they know she is a bit cheaper of a mage to hire unlike the two most famous mages in the country. She figured if it is that one that it is fine as she needs the jewels anyways to help her keep the Tutrix belief going and keeping her people fed with her donations.

She followed the man through the Worth Woodsea to his village and he looked around and it did look like a lot of the village and it's people had been ruffed up quite a bit and she kind of felt sorry for them as this was not really a pretty site and she guessed that the chief of this place must be without a mark on them as that seems to be how these things work and how it usually was but that might just be her being jaded about it and already just making this village the monster of the two but it looked more like it was the one attacked and she wondered if the other place was also in this kind of shape or if it was better kept and in far better shape because to her that would mean who should be getting the better end of the deal that she writes up and gets it approved so she figured once she speaks the terms with the leader here that she writes up three copies with slightly different amounts and that is on the give and take.

She hopes that she is not attacked once she goes to the other village and she walked into the leader of this villages home and she looked around as the place seemed empty from life then soon after a woman walked in and she is bandaged like a bloody mummy as she had been hurt in the last attack on the village and she looked at the woman and Vex can tell the woman already thinks that she is not the right pick for this mission to go and do high stakes bargaining on a deal, as she thinks Vex will just get pushed around by the other villages leader. Vex looks as the woman takes a seat and starts to tell Vex the story of what happened and what was going on as this was a longer tale of betrayal and misunderstandings that she thinks is being sabotaged on either their side or on the other side and they wanted a stronger mage that wasn't worried to rough someone up if they tried to mess with them. Vex points and two cloaked people appeared seemly out of nowhere and she smirks saying that she always goes places with back up so no need to worry about her being pushed around as she doubted that they would even try it.

The woman looked impressed as she didn't think much of this woman but now she is questioning if maybe she had lost her eye for useful people as this woman had just been impressive to her and she didn't even look like she was going to have any cards up her sleeves as she was a very small and looked like she was more built for tea parties and hand shaking while her husband deals with all the bigger and important things that she was more the arm candy to marry. Vex seemed to realize that the woman had really underestimated her and what she can do and she will need to make sure that she gets the last pieces of the puzzle that she needs to get done. She starts drawing up the drafts so that the woman can feast her eye on it and give her thoughts and this woman smiled as she read the draft as they seemed very well and firmly worded to boot.

The woman gives Vex some of her people to go with her to get this deal signed and sealed if they will even see and hear her out and she wonders what is going to happen will the woman be able to get the deal signed and sealed or will they fail and this will all have just been a waste and nothing will come of it? Vex leads the team with her as they were going to get this figured out and find out what the hold up was and if the people can really get this done right and she feels eyes of her as they walked through the forest and she is guessing that it was from the unseen enemy that keeps making the deals fail or maybe the one stopping the conversion between the two place cause they want to see the villages fail and just be wiped out but she has no idea for who or why they would want to do that and if she can help it she will learn why and where and how.

She makes it to the other village and they look at her and then they let her in with the others and the place here looks very beat up as well as the last place she had been at and she wonders if maybe she wasn't too far off that some outside third party might be taking them for a ride to try and kill them off and she hurries to the leader of this villages home who refuses to see her as they had no need to take them in or to even bother with looking at any sort of deal and the local bandits have been watching them closely and he is worried that signing such a thing will make their attack sooner then it already is and then he will need to make sure that he gets his treasured loved ones out first and watch the place burn down from the fact that he had not been strong or smart enough to face them down and find another way to win.

Vex begs the man to please just look and to hear them out as she wasn't going to be long if he would just give her the moment that she is asking from him and then she is let in and the man starts looking over the deal it was very well crafted and it looked like it was a good amount of give and take for the price and she was going to drive a hard bargain with him. The man sighed as this was a deal that was far too good to back down from and he goes and he gets a pen and he signs it as well as his advisors that he had called in and the witnesses sign it and they get the deal looking like it is going to happen and than an alarm rings out and they are being raided and as the deal had been signed Vex releases a signal and the other village comes to help protect this village as well. After the attack on them had ended she is paid and thanked over and over again.
