Orchidia was a magnificent city and anybody who thought otherwise was no person who should be judging anything. Alejandro was impressed, to say the least, with how much the city had evolved. If the guild master of Sleeping Calamity was responsible for this than they would surely have to pay her a visit. Who was she? And why was she doing good by the people of this city? Perhaps it was because she understood that regardless of how the rest of the world perceived her, she could manipulate the civilians of the city if they at least believed in her. It was an interesting occurrence, especially since the Rune Knights had arrested all of their founding members years ago. Perhaps... it was possible that they had a change of heart. Under new leadership the guilds morals had slowly shifted and become similar to the ideals of light guilds like Fairy Tail.

Alejandro thought hard as they made their way to the Orchidia church alongside Happy and Herald. The North was always a region of its own in the eyes of the Wood-Elf. Separate from the crown and bound by their own rules and way of life. Sieghart had been demanding separation for the longest and the people of Worth Woodsea practically lived on their own accord. The North was like its own country and rightfully so. Now with Paradise Dawn's Influence bolstering and how loudly the people of the Sieghart call Paradise their own Kingdom, and not to mention Sleeping Calamity's own city recognizing them as leaders, it was safe to assume that soon the North would be at war with the rest of the country. Or at least, that's what Alejandro foresaw. That would create many problems for the Celdrua house as both sub-houses were split between the capital and the Northern region.

If that time should ever come, Ale was already sure where they would be; right in the North where their family had always been safest, where they fit in and where they thought the Celdrua family truly belonged. Perhaps if they ever did become Heir they would move the entire family here. The politics of the more Southern Fiore wasn't exactly their forte. Their father had been paving a way for them in the central region but as elves, the Dragon Slayer couldn't see their lives lasting there long. At some point Rohan was gonna wanna move, it was just a matter of time. For now though, such matters had no place here. The Savannan was still on a mission. They had to make sure that their mind didn't wander elsewhere, or they wouldn't be able to properly focus for whatever lied ahead of them here. They were so close to this whole thing being over.

The city folk of Orchidia were...not so friendly, just as they remembered it. As the trio made their way to the church, Alejandro could hear the occasional "move!" or "Get out of the way!". Then you had some homeless people scattered about. Of course Alejandro couldn't walk past one person without giving them some jewel for their troubles. As beautiful as the city of green was, there was still much left to do. Thus, Alejandro concluded that Orchidia was the perfect place for them to build a home. As soon as they became Kingsguard, whenever that should happen, they would make sure to build their forte here. Within minutes, Happy, Alejandro, and Herald were in front of the door of the church. It was simple, much simpler than the cathedral in Crocus. That was to be expected, the money flow here wasn't as great so the Lords and Ladies most likely had to prioritize.

Orchidia's church was beautiful nonetheless. It seemed to sparkle in the city of plants and trees, covered in purple flowers and draped in leaves of all different types of colors. It was night time, around nine o' clock the latest but the church had been glowing on its own accord. With a smile of relief, after a long and hard journey of traveling, they had finally made it to the end. The mission was complete. Now all Herald had to do was drop the item off and Alejandro could report back to Captain Kyro. Base could wait, they were finally in the North after all and the North was indeed home. Happy smiled. He couldn't wait to rest- and eat most of all. Alejandro was starving so they knew that Happy was too. Herald was the first to walk up the small steps of the church and push open the door.

Honestly the Lieutenant was expecting to see a group of people huddled in prayer. To their surprise they saw the exact opposite. It was eerily empty inside the church. The lights were still on but they were very much dimmed and for some reason it reeked of sweat. Most times it was a blessing to have an enhanced sense of smell, other times it was a curse; like right now for example. Ale brought their wrist to their nose to block the scent, but it seeped right through. "Hey...yall smell that?" they asked the others. "Yeah...smells like...struggle." Happy said looking around. Herald was confused because unlike the two of them he didn't have a keen sense of smell. "Where is the guy you're supposed ta meet?" Alejandro asked, running their fingers through their hair. "That is a good question. I was certain he said he would be here for scripture study tonight."

Just as Herald finished his words, the doors behind them slammed. Reflexively, they all turned around to see. Ten men stood behind one man sporting a black leather jacket. He had a sinister smile on his face, as if he was excited. It was clear that he had plans. Immediately Alejandro raised their hands and prepared themselves. Between the eleven of them, Alejandro was in for a rude awakening. They knew their power, at least their physical one and they were willing to bank on themselves. Confidence exuded from the elf. They had come this far all the way from the middle of the country, there was no way that they were about to allow Eleven idiots to set them back. "Well well well..." Bane began. "I was expecting the Priest to come with friends, but I didn't expect his protector to be a child- BWAHA! HAHAHAHAHA!" Bane roared. "The Knights have children doing their dirty work now?"

What else was there to do but fight? It was clear as the nights sky that Bane wasn't about to let them walk scott free. This man was here for one thing, and that one thing was the Orb inside of Herald's box. What he wanted it for didn't matter, who he was didn't matter. All that mattered was that the elf defeated him. Without a word, Alejandro darted forward towards Bane and swung their fist once they were in the vicinity. They moved at such intense speeds any normal person wouldn't have reacted properly, alas, Bane was no normal person. With ease he lifted his hand and caught the elf's punch. Alejandro gritted their teeth as they attempted to push their fist. Bane was just too strong. A wicked smirk approached his lips. The other men stepped forward to attack but, "No." bane said. "Let's see what the boy can do." The Savannan swung their leg to kick Banes ribs, but bane caught their leg with his other hand.

"Is that all you've got?" Bane said before head butting the young Lieutenant. "Gagh!" The intensity behind the attack was as if Bane didn't care about his own health. Alejandro stumbled back. "Ale!" Happy yelled. The Exceed growled and was ready to pounce but the Lieutenant held their hand out. Alejandro wasn't about to let this man walk all over them and more importantly, they didn't want Happy to get hurt. Happy had a job and it was to protect the Holy relic inside of that box. "I...got this." Alejandro said before moving to attack again, but every attempt they made to harm Bane resulted in them getting hurt even more. Bane showed no remorse either. He kneed the elf before kicking them with his other foot, sending him flying back some. The battle had just started and already Ale found themselves way over their head. Still, no backing down. They would do everything in their power to see this through. This was the test of times for the elf. Before this quest they didn't seem to have much motive. Sure they wanted Kingsguard, but they never saw it happening. Now though, they wanted to fight.

For the first time in their life they wanted to fight to win, not just because they felt obligated to. The Elf struggled to their feet and charged forward once more. They and Bane traded blows, one by one. They were pushing each other, though Bane seemed to be allowing Alejandro to hit him. However, with every ht, Alejandro's force became stronger. Yet, it was not enough to defeat the white headed man. Bane suddenly began to beat Alejandro into the ground. The punches came in non-stop. One by one each punch was forcing the Elf onto their knees. "FIGHT ALEJANDRO!" But Alejandro was barely conscious. Happy couldn't take it anymore. The Exceed expanded his wings before darting towards Bane. "Wait!" Herald shouted. It was no use. Happy with tears in his eyes approached Bane ready to give him everything he had pent up inside of his little blue body, but when he approached Bane simply caught him in a choke hold. The fight was over before it had even began...
