Knuckles Shi

It was mid-afternoon, the sun was beating down but the heat put off with nice chilling air and moving a breeze. All was well this day, there were only a few days like this one throughout the year. Instead of taking himself to a Park or someplace to go out and stay on a beautiful day, Knux ade plans to go and gamble. He knew of an underground Casino in the area and was eager to seek it out and make some money. Gathering all his items Knuckles set out for the day. He exited the room he had rented for the time he was within the city and moved down to the first floor via the steps. He rather enjoyed the market area he had chosen to stay in, he was currently staying at a small bed and breakfast run by some sweet older lady. She was helped by her daughter who was only a few years older than Knuckles but that did not stop Knuckles from enjoying the midnight snacks she offered him every night. He was not sure if they were items on the menu for all guests or if it was just the charm he has.

He was not sure what the case of that was with the woman, but he had been enjoying it as she was a pretty woman, very gentle on the eyes, and seemed to love his stories of travel. It seemed like she had dreams of traveling around the country. He was certain that she would not enjoy life with him on the road. She was probably only attracted to the life of the stories travelers told, most were but it was not for most of them. Now exiting the building Knuckles walked down the street looking at all the shops as he walked by. There was a lot of things around here for sale, the style of this region of clothing was not to his taste but it was nice, the food was great and filled his body with enough energy to get by and tasted better than the wild game he hunted and killed along with the travel. On his way to the hidden Casino Knuckles stopped at a corner store that was selling a frozen treat called Ice Cream. He purchased a small cup of it, enough for a few bits only to have on his walk to his destination.

Knuckles Shi

Knuckles enjoyed the treat it was more flavorful than he had imagined. Once he was done with it he tossed it into a trash can on the street. He might be a Daemon and a man open to destruction and slaughter but littering was just something only an idiot would do. It offered nothing but a lazy way to rid yourself of trash.  People who littered were worse than trash in his eyes. Moving on he eventually made it to to the market that sold rugs. Of course, the rugs shop was just a front for the basement down low where the casino was.  Knuckles entered the shop and asked to see a certain type of rug, this was the code used to enter the bottom of the building. The salesman nodded his head and motioned for Knuckles to follow him. Knuckles did so and eventually came to a wall of rugs. The shopkeeper looked around before moved one of the rugs away from the wall and showed a hidden hallway. Knuckles walked into the hall until he came to a set of stairs with a door at the end of it. Upon reaching the door Knuckles knocked and it soon swung open allowing the man through.

After playing for some time he had his fill of the card games and took his leave, it was time to head back to the west.
