Hitomi sent out a letter to all the rune knights currently in Orchidia in order to invite them to train with her. She had become a dragon slayer through means unknown to most and she had a whole list of spells she needed to train in order to become a little more useful to her teammates. Stripping down to a one-piece bathing suit she stepped in the water, the cool river sending a shiver up her spine. She was attempting to send mana down to her feet in order to stand on the surface of the water, rather than sinking below it. This spell would allow her to walk on surfaces she otherwise would not be able to. A simple spell that would become very effective in many different situations overall.

Taking deep breaths the mana flow within her was in disarray. It was difficult to control it since she had gotten rid of Asmodeus. It felt much more difficult to shoulder the weight of her own power. With each step that she tried to place on top of the water, it just kept sinking to the river floor. Thinking for a moment she realized that she needed to give the mana some sort of specific direction in order to build a foundation for the spell. With a moment's thought, it hit her. Taking another deep breath she hit the heel of her foot on the river's floor and soon a grey magic circle appeared under her feet. With her next step, she was able to walk on the surface of the water rather than her foot sinking.

He stared down at the letter that had been given to him for the purpose of letting him know that Hitomi would be training today before their next S-rank excursion. Realizing that he actually hadn't had much time to practice his craft ever since he had become a Rune Knight and thus had grown quite stale in his pyrokinetic arts. Vowing to fix this oversight, he'd throw on his orange jumper before heading down to the river that had been listed in the letter. On his way out he made sure to grab a stick of jerky and an apple, being sure to fill up on some energy before he began the strenuous exercise.

It wouldn't take him more than ten minutes to reach the clearing, the sounds of Hitomi training already filling the area as he stepped into full view. His eyes only barely glanced over her frame before he moved to his own area to give her space as well as to make sure he didn't accidentally set her on fire. Taking a stance of preparation, he'd first begin to limber himself up, stretching out his arms and legs to get out any kinks that may have formed from laying down for most of the day. He had only been cleared for duty a few days ago so he was still feeling a bit stiff.

His warm ups would take him but a few more minutes before he began to prepare the motions for his spell.

Standing on the water she got a feel of the spell, moving around and walking on its surface a bit. She hadn't spent too much time doing that before another presence came into view. Looking over she spotted Seika and smiled at him, waving at him as she walked off of the water and onto the solid and dry ground until she hit the lush grass. She noticed that he had started stretching and she thought that was a great idea. Once she got onto the grass she pulled her arm all the way over her chest as if she were reaching the other side of her body. She did this for about a minute for each arm before stretching her legs out, something she was about to use for her next spell. Once her stretching was done she took a deep breath, remembering to send the mana towards her feet. This was still difficult to do even though she just did it with the last spell she trained, a spell she named " Sanguine Control ".

Taking a deep breath she closed her eyes for a moment before opening them. In front of her was a clear path with nothing obstructing her way forward. Tapping the heel of her foot on the ground a grey magic circle appeared under her. The rush of mana filled her feet and legs which to her meant that she could attempt the spell. Bending at the knees slightly she lunged forward until the mana in her legs and feet stopped. She tried this out a few more times, lunging around until she felt it was time to move onto the next spell, which only worked with the one she perfected now which she called " Sanguine Lunge "

Hands outstretched in front of him, he would use both hands at first, willing the intense burning power within him that was his well of mana to burst forth and fill him with energy. He could feel it searing his veins as it roiled and bubbled about within before being forced into the ground to gather at a point nearby. He could see the ground visibly begin to glow into a dark orange before suddenly becoming bright red just before a bright red magic seal appeared just above it. Seika waited with a baited breath just before finally releasing it and his hold over the roiling uncontrollable mana.

Crack. Crack. CRACK. BOOM!

The ground shuddered as it released it's payload, the explosive contents of his spell shooting out the ground with the force of a large explosive. Fire and molten rock shot up into the air from the release of magical energy. The sound ripped through the clearing startling woodland creatures all around him as he himself braced himself against the explosive power of his own spell. He was moderately surprised at how much force came out from the release of the spell. Maybe he had put too much magical energy into it?

Taking another stance, he would prepare himself to gather and release his magical energy again, this time making sure to feel each part of the steps to ascertain exactly where he went wrong and how. Maybe then he would be able to figure out how to get the spell to work right.

She was ignored but that was ok because she could see the concentration and determination in Seika's face as he was training what looked to be fire. Ah, so he was a fire mage, how destructive. For a moment She was mesmerized but quickly got her mind back on her own spells. She couldn't slack because she was admiring another mage she had to get back to her grind. retaining her focus she stretched her legs a bit more to loosen them up. The lunges she had performed earlier were a lot hard to do than standing on water. She had to be in constant motion and make sure she had a clear path for her lunges. Even if she weren't using a spell to lunge she still had to be careful with the one she was about to perform. It called for her to be aware of her surroundings, lest she runs into something. Stretching her knees a bit more by bending down low, picking it up slow, rolling all around, and popping that thing to get out kinks.

Once she was limber enough she lunged forward away from Seika, without the aid of the magic spell she used. She needed to try to use this spell on its own before pairing it with another. It was harder to concentrate the mana throughout her legs and release it at the same time. When did do it she either tripped over herself or added too much and threw her body in another direction that was not the same way she was aiming for. Eventually, she got it down to where she could lunge with her heel tapping the ground as an indicator of the spell being used, the magic circle appearing on her ankle, and her being able to control which direction she would go mid lunge.

The forces he was manipulating demanded his utmost attention as his energy within his body and grasp twisted and coiled in such a way that if he so much as lost focus for even a second, it would all explode in his face. Sweat began to gather atop his forehead and cheeks as he glared down at the ground before him. His intense gaze burned almost as brightly as the ground beneath him did as he willed forth his magical energy once more to bubble forth just before another magic circle appeared. Like before a series of cracks could be heard as the ground literally tore itself apart.

Roaring flames once again belched into the clearing as a much larger and hotter gout of flames rose up from the earth, this time properly controlled to exist within the parameters Seika had set within his mind. The sight of the bright orangish-red flames filled his heart with joy as he let the flow of magic go after a second before exhaling and bringing himself back to center. That was just one of the many spells he had to get down, and knowing himself, he had many more to learn.

So with that in mind, he'd prepare himself for the next spell, this one much more... explosive than the last. He would glance over in Hitomi's direction to check on her. He knew how destructive his moves were and hoped silently that he hadn't disturbed her practice with his last move.

Hitomi's spell training had been going fairly well. She was catching on quickly to getting down things her body wasn't particularly used to without the help of Asmodeus. The next spell required her to push mana to her hands. This spell was less combat based but she felt it would be needed. Taking deep breaths she rerouted the mana from her feet and pushed it upwards and towards the middle of her chest, right above her bosom. This was a bit harder than pushing back and forth between simpler areas like her hands and feet as she had to completely move her mana through several different transitions in order not to hurt herself but also be able to actually perform this simple spell. Puling from a pool or raw arcane magic, the world around her crackled as she began to push the mana to her chest. A magic circle formed but it wasn't complete, it was broken as more crackling of arcane mana jumped off of her skin, she was putting too much into it. Of course, she noticed which caused her to stop what she was doing, else she blows herself up and possibly Seika. Hitomi sighed as she stopped her mana flow, letting it get back to its natural state of being, flowing freely through her body with no restraints. A few seconds passed by and she started up again, this time moving the flow of mana slower and with more control. The crackling of arcane mana died down on her skin and a magic circle appeared on her chest as she cupped her hands towards it a beautiful gem appeared and shone brightly, even during these day hours she could see it's light. Finally success. A simple spell but very effective should she ever need light to see through the dark.

Magical energy gathered around his right hand as he focused on essentially not ejecting a gout of flames straight out of his hand. The energy was highly volatile, condensed in such a way that it wouldn't be released without a source of stimuli agitating it into releasing from its rather thin yet capable container. Seika would take aim at a nearby tree, holding out his right hand in a position that had his fingers so that he could snap them, a magic circle would appear just in front of the outstretched limb, its frame glowing brightly as the energy held within the sphere violently pulsed with the mental acknowledgement that it would be active soon. The air grew far more agitated as he finally snapped his fingers and released the violent payload into the air, and then the air shook.

Suddenly, as if he had caused the world around him to erupt, the flames of mana had erupted violently in the direction of the tree he had aimed them at. The force of the explosion ripping through the clearing like a bomb. The explosive power of the release snapped branches off of the trees surrounding the young man as well as caused several smaller trees to be knocked down from the force of the explosive shockwave. The gout of flames immediately immolated the tree before him, the entire leafy structure quickly going up in flames as the magical fire consumed the entire entity. Thankfully due to the process being magical, he could also will it away as the flames died down due to a casual wave of his hand.

Turning to leave, he was content with his progress today, but deemed it necessary to practice some more at a later date.
