It was early in the morning and Phoebus was already on his way to the Cathedral, he had received a message from the priest that requested his presence there which made him quite concerned. As the mage entered he was informed that Father Jerad was bed-ridden due to the same illness the other people had and quickly made it to the room where the priest was located. Once he found him he tried to approach him but was stopped and told to keep his distance so the illness doesn’t spread. Moments later the clergyman was explaining that the medicinal nectar from the Blessia flower had been extracted while pointing at the big bottle filled with liquid at the other side of the room. The people affected had to drink the medicine and asked for his help to administer it, which Phoebus tried to by starting with the man but he refused making him promise that he would first lend his aid to the families that were situated inside the building and then he would return back to help him. With a nod he took the medicine and left the room with haste heading towards the quarantined quarters of the Cathedral.

There he found quite a few people that were coughing and looking like they were in terrible condition and started distributing the medicine as he was told to. Things didn’t prove to be quite as easy as he thought though, some of them had their concerns about him, said they weren’t able to trust him as they didn’t really know him and that they would prefer for Father Jared to be at their side. It made sense to Phoebus of course he was an outsider after all but he had a job to do and he was not about to give up. He started by explaining the situation the priest was in and asked for everyone’s cooperation reassuring them that he would make certain everyone was taken care of and he would do his best for them. After a small pause and some whispers they all agreed to receive the mage’s aid and with a smile he started administering the nectar once more, taking some time to talk with each one of them and comfort them. Everything seemed to be going well until he came up to a little child that wouldn’t accept the medicine. He sat down looking at the kid and asked if he liked playing outdoors to which the kid nodded in agreement, he continued by wondering if he was able to do that while being sick to which the child answered that he wasn’t feeling well enough to go outside and even if he did his friends wouldn’t come near him. Phoebus looked at the child then the medicine telling him that if he drank some of it he would feel better in no time and be able to go outside and play with his friends again. As he offered him the cup, the kid kept staring at it for a bit at which point he looked up to Phoebus who with a wink and a smile nodded and at last he accepted it.

After the young man made sure that everyone had their share of the medicine he headed back to the priest’s room giving him a brief report of what had transpired and reassuring him that the medicine was distributed to everyone at which point voices were being heard of some people in high spirits. Father Jared smiled and accepted the nectar from the man, consuming it and instantly looking better. Going through his stuff at his bedside he took a small vial and offered it to Phoebus explaining that it would be of benefit to him, and after accepting and drinking its content he felt a surge of mana go through his body. The priest thanked him again and after handing the mage the reward he bid him farewell.
