RingWhile the Forest did provide him with some much-needed stress relief but it was about time that he did his part as a member of the guild and increase their territory even if it is just slightly. Maybe I should actually head into a populated place in Orchida he thought to himself pulling out a brand with the symbol of the guild attached to. Now the only thing that this scholar needed to do was supply it with his own mana and place the guilds mark all over the forest or a good portion of it anyway that is.
Azure walked around the forest for a good hour or so looking for the best place to leave the first make but something didn't feel right it was as if the animals that lived in the forest were hiding in the shadows, waiting to attack. This was his way of showing that he cared about the guild even though he was just using it to make his own goals simpilar at the end of the day. The scholar found a large rock that was perfect from the way that the sunlight hit it to the moss and flowers growing around it. He plunged the Iorn into the rock and watched as the mark was edged on to it.
After the first rock he went on to mark a few more rocks until he got tired and needed to rest for a bit, Man this thing really does drain you, he thought looking at the Branding Iorn resting agenst his left leg. The scholar walked around a bit longer until he figured out that he could just brand the largest Tree was just outside the city. The forest seemed to be working agenst him as he looked for the perfect tree when he had no problem when he first started. "Finally!" Azure shouted As he used his mana to reactivate the branding iron to mark the tree though it would need more than just the brand given that it would be the sign telling ravlers who controls the forest.
