Venus Rosé

Blade Dancer

The streets were busy with a lively tempo as people flocked to places they were supposed to be, finding things they were supposed to do, and one young mage would be there, muddled through the crowd as she observed her surroundings, from people to shops, to alleyways to buildings. Somehow, the crowds seemed rather energetic than usual, shoppers flocked to malls and markets only to return with large bags of chocolates. It wasn’t as though Venus was snooping around and prying other people’s businesses – she just simply had a curious nature.

”Why is everyone buying chocolate eggs? It’s not like it’s Valentine’s.”

The redhead selected an orange fruit located in front of her, observing it carefully to ensure that it was healthy and not soft and rotten inside as she mumbled the words to no one in particular.

”It’s Easter, m’lady.” An old merchant responded, smiling at her when she offered the man a quick glance while he peeled a potato with a small kitchen knife in his seat. The young Siren produced a quite ‘o’ with her mouth, nodding in acknowledgement as she bundled several vegetables and fruits into a bag and rolled the jewels across the table as the trade was dealt with.

One thing Venus noticed was how Fiorans often celebrated holidays and customs and Easter was no different. It wasn’t as if she was complaining about the numerous events that occur throughout the year, in fact, she enjoyed the holidays; to see the joyful faces those around her, although none of it meant anything special to her. It was just another normal day, until she turned around only to bump into a cuddly bunny with a bag clutched under its arm. It’s got to be a human underneath that costume, that was what she thought. Without even exchanging a conversation, the bunny gifted her a small painted egg into her hands, leaving her bewildered and staring after him as he left.
