CompanionToday was just like any other day to Snowflake, except the weather much better than most days. It was winter; her favourite season of all and the excitement it brought to her was nearly indescribable. She felt almost like a child within, running out of her doors to see freshly fallen snowflakes and a blanket of snow. It was just like old times in Iceberg, with the exception that she was no longer in her home country, and her parents are long gone. The young woman refused to let it get to her head and ruin her day by recalling her tragic moments that occurred many years ago.
She lifted her head into the wind, eyes open for the softly lift day. ”Cold is good if you’re warm inside, just the same as we love ice in the summer time.” She whispered to none other than herself. The wintry sun was the brightness of the day, taking centre stage as the blooms of the summertime become a part of the soil and on this beautiful day, she figured she ought to do something productive rather than complete her daily training once again. She would have loved to stay inside her room, to observe the world outside from a duvet over the windows, fingers wrapped snuggly around some cocoa… yet, she didn’t want to waste a day like this.
Her eyes scanned over the quest board pinned with the most mundane quests; “Delivering Pizza”, “Find My Granny”, “Escort The Lady”, etc. A sigh escaped her lips, there was nothing that interested her on this board. Without having much choice, she ripped a random piece of paper from the board without looking and skimmed through it quickly. ”Lights, at night-time.” she read it aloud, thinking that the quest might a little more rewarding than she had expected it to be. For now, she’d have to kill some time before night falls, where the quest takes place.
