The Quiz Show is a small game intended to test the members on their knowledge of various FTRP related trivia. All of the questions have answers that can be found simply by looking at the forum in its current state, meaning that even newer members can sign up without worry of missing out on old, now inaccessible knowledge.

The Quiz Show will be hosted and run by Zane. The rewards for the top 3 players at the end of the game is as follows:

• 1st Place: 300 Points
  
• 2nd Place: 200 Points
  
• 3rd Place: 100 Points
  

The quiz show itself will be held on Discord, in the FTRP server. People who have signed up and are currently online and ready to go will be given the "Quiz" role on discord. Zane, the host, will get this role too of course. From there, a channel will be created, also by the name of Quiz. Everyone can see and read this channel, but only those with the Quiz role can post in it.

The time of the quiz show is going to be 9 PM Pacific on the 13th of September. Do not sign up if you think you cannot make this time. For reference, a list of when the quiz show would be taking place with different major cities around the world that a lot of our members would be in has been made.

Los Angeles, Seattle, Vancouver (Pacific): 9:00 PM.

New York City, Toronto, Miami (Eastern): 12:00 PM

London, Dublin, Lisbon (Western Europe): 5:00 AM

Madrid, Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin (Central Europe): 6:00 AM

In order to sign up for the quiz, the following conditions must be met:

• You have an approved season 2 character.
  
• You are on the discord.
  
• You are not a member of staff.

The quiz show is intended to have 6 players. The first five players will get a 100% guaranteed spot. After that, people can still sign up as reserve spots. What this means is that if one of the 6 who hadn't signed up does not show up for the game, the reserve players can take their spot.

All of the 6 players will be pinged 15 minutes in advance for the game. If they do not show up with a message by the starting time, their spot will be forfeit.

The quiz show is a 20 question game. Those 20 questions are divided into 4 categories. These 4 categories are as follows:

• Systems
  
• Locations
  
• Shop Content
  
• Miscellaneous
  

Each category has 5 different questions all marked with 1 to 5 stars, with the number determining their difficulty. A 1 Star question will give 1 point to whoever gets it right.

At the start of the game, a play order is determined based off the alphabetical order of the participants. This determines the order of who picks the categories. Upon the start of each question, the first step is the participant who's turn it is to pick a category and the star value of the question. For example, if Ben went first, he'd start by picking the question that he wants: for the sake of this example, he would pick "Locations, 3 Stars".

After that, Zane will ask the question. After typing out the question in the quiz channel, each participant has one minute to answer the question. In addition, they can only send one answer per question, and editing is not allowed. Should a spelling error be made, the answer will not count. The first one to answer the question correctly wins the round and the points for the question. After that, Zane will post the scoreboard of points and move onto the next participant that gets to choose a question.

There is also a special rule called Final Star. The last question to be picked in each category will give twice the points to the one that answers. This could be of any star value, the Final Star of a category could be give anywhere from 1 point to 10 points. It may give ways to strategical question picking, such as always picking the high questions first to avoid letting your opponents catch up to you with a big Final Star answer.

If there is a tie at the end for 2nd or 3rd place, the place will be shared. If there is a tie for 1st place, the 3rd place winner(s) will be booted out of their spot, and the 2nd place winner will be moved to 3rd. The two will then be given one extremely hard question by Zane as tiebreaker.
