It had been a terrible heat today. The grasses around Orchidia, the bushes and the trees, were dry and susceptible of forest fires, in which he promptly avoided more vegetated places and sought refuge in the water holes. After having spent the entire day heating up the waters, almost creating a sort of hot spring, he went into the town again to hear about people’s issues - due to the warm weather, a large amount of cats had gone missing as their homes simply couldn’t afford the cooling air that they needed. Upon hearing this, Daiko went into the thick forests that flung its arms and legs around the town like an approaching parasite, retrieving random cats that he found hiding under logs, large leaves, moist areas and other cold places. He understood their need for some cool refreshments, but was it that necessary to run away from your family? They could just ask- oh wait, cat language. It wasn’t all people that literally understood their pets’ body languages, not even mentioning how animals exchanged words with each other.

It made him glance at Coda as he approached a certain café. Wearing a rather unusual set of clothes - his top wearing a dark-green t-shirt under a brighter vest made of soft fabric whilst, instead of only his phoenix necklace, also wearing an upper arm band with his Guild Crest painted in neon-green. His double belt set that tailed around his waist stored many weird things from nature that he made handy in daily life, including compressed and boiled web, sharp sticks and rocks, mushrooms, hardened moss, and small pieces of pheasant meat.

Here, he stood; he could fathom the shadow of the bored angel inside the café as he bluntly entered. “Little bird is here…!” he joyously greeted, hoping that Ana would hear it and brighten up. Oh yeah, and Coda was with him too; just perching on his head this time due to whatever reason she had…

Her lips were down of a frown as she felt too bored. Her eyes gazed at the shining clean door that the cleaner always cleans. Even if there was no business she wanted to give the maids a job to do so they weren't out of work. She cared about them like family - including the guys. Some of them are perverted and makes jokes towards her and the female workers, but thankfully she is able to tone her own emotions a little. Out of no where she heard the doors slam open as if her vision was tricked into seeing no one till it was cleared. Her ears listened and could hear as well as he spoke - being the first thing he did after he swung open the doors of glass.

A shot of laughter escaped from her lips as she covered her mouth quickly. Her eyes winced and looked at Hyoen as if she tried to hold out on laughter that will most likely embaress her. Afterwards, she brought her pointing finger of her left hand against her lips in the middle. ''Shhh~ They're sleeping.'' she spoke softly and chuckled at him. Of course no one knew who 'they' were as she hasn't told anyone about them... not even Noel. It's true that she recently found them, but she feared on his reaction once he did find out. Will he leave her like most guys do when they're not ready or will he stay by her side forever like she is hoping. Her eyes shot up at Hyoen eye-to-eye and then away towards the stairs and then back at Hyoen, shooting a smile. ''So what have you been up to?~'' she asked happily and went back in a leaning position against the back of her chair. Her outfit stayed in perfect place when she moved around and about. Her hair that was down and curled stayed in place as well as she was dressed up already for some party. As if she was going to go to one.

Apparently, he shouldn’t have raised his voice like that. Although, the way that Ana was… mysterious. Who were sleeping? The tone of her voice almost made it sound like she had… kids? Since when?! Wait-wait… but was she even able to get kids? Or did it function differently for these winged, angelic people? Anyway, he would make sure to turn the volume of his voice down a notch so that whoever was sleeping at the moment got to keep on sleeping without some autistic screams waking them up like nightmares. “… O-Oh, alright, alright… hehehe,” he shamefully responded.

Given his daily activities, he was actually feeling a little cooled down in the evening thanks to the moist waters that he had been swimming around in. Therefore, he scratched the bone of his nostrils a little whilst answering the seraphim’s question: “I’ve just been cooling off wherever I could… especially at the water holes a few miles away.” Coda would begin nibbling his head to try and catch his attention, which she succeeded at, “A-Ah, yeah, Coda needed her talons grinded too. Check them out.” He would gently lift Coda’s right leg which revealed those lethal, black talons of hers - which begged the question; how on earth was Daiko’s head, not to mention his shoulders, unscathed by those?

She listened to him carefully and something was up or at least on his mind. He was stuttering which made her question on what was up. She licked her lips slowly starting from top right of her lips and went towards the left to moisture them. ''Mmm...'' she wondered as he finished speaking. ''Keeping cool is important Hyoen, but I am wondering on something.'' she started and leaned somewhat squished against the bars that belonged to the back of the chair. ''Why are you stuttering?'' she questioned innocently as the actual Ari was very dumbfounded at this point and subject. There could be many reasons so she was curious.

Was it perhaps that he guessed she had kids? Perhaps a stranger over that was a man or perhaps he felt that he was nervous of something, but what? Her golden mirror eyes that reflected him could clearly be seen as she gazed straight at him. Depending on what he said, she next asked him something else. ''Are you hungry, Hyoen? I can cook you somethings or have my maids make us something. They really won't mind.'' she insisted as she then offered drinks. ''They'll be free and keep us cool. Plus, they're making food for the company I'll be having over in an hour anyways.''she finally last spoke and then looked towards the door. ''I wonder where my lover is...'' she whispered very quietly in a mumble-like tone.

Keeping cool… that was contradictive to his Fire Magic, which he tended to keep things heated and burning, but even he needed a cooldown himself. He was still as human as anyone could be. And humans did stutter... wait, she noticed?! Crap! It was always painful to realize how much your sense of embarrassment was revealed in a conversation, and excuse the bird boy for being a sore talking hand. Maybe he could redirect the focus point to something else like the ‘sleeping’ ones that Ana mentioned… but he had to be discreet about it. Not to let her notice, otherwise the situation would get worse…

“U-Uhm… you did mention someone sleeping,” he spoke calmer now, “Y-Yeah, I was just… a little curious. Are there kids here?” He assumed so, maybe she was tending to some younger spirits around here… or maybe she actually did it. Maybe… maybe she had kids! Damn, this was more sudden than the case with Alice! Blast it! “Ooooohhh..?” he let out passionately by the word food being mentioned, “Yeah, I’m starving…” He guessed that this was, actually, the first time that she directly spoke of her ‘lover’, because he couldn’t remember any previous mentions of such person.

“I’m… I’m sure that he’s thinking about you too,” Daiko added. Having lovers was about all that stuff, right? Right? … Like, he was sure to know, but… then again, he couldn’t say that he had knowledge based on experience, so perhaps his knowledge was mundane. That would make it even more awkward for him, in which he quickly continued: “A-Anyway, what food is on the menu? Rabbit? Aurochs? Pheasant? Chicken? Beef? Raptor-“ Upon saying raptor, Coda pecked him harshly, “O-Ouch… I mean, I can do other dishes too, my stomach’s literally empty…”

Arisa looked at Hyoen curiously and made her smile turn into a smirk. He was quite an innocent boy or so he acted. Last time she had a conversation about her lover, she was so broken up about him since he just walked out on her during their boat date. She still remembered that day as if it was two days ago - her fight with him feeling like yesterday. Just remembering him saying 'I love you' made her feel quite exotic inside. A shock of some warm feeling was felt within her soul. 'O~ How I can't imagine this life without thy soul...' a soft yet high pitched voice spoke in her mind as she cornered her eyes towards the corner of the wall. There was someone standing there... someone within the shadows. All she saw were teeth smiling and heard a chuckle of a little girl who then vanished. Her heart raced and then tried to shake out of the force of feeling fear.

''R-right...'' she started to say as if lost and looked at Hyoen. ''Yes, children are sleeping up there. Do you want to meet the two?'' she wondered all motherly with a sweet goddess-like smile as she then saw her most trusted maid. ''Greetings Ma'am, sir. What will you both have?'' she wondered with a bright smile. Her head turned to her and tilted her head a little as she shrugged and spoke. ''Since you're making the feast for my company, perhaps get some of the lamb or breaded catfish that I started to make earlier before they sent the news...'' she instructed. ''Right, my regular for my drink and whatever he orders.'' she lastly spoke before looking at him to see what his answers were.

… D-Did something happen? Her expression changed drastically as if she had just seen a ghost. Almost worryingly, Daiko tried to spot her eyes’ point of focus from the corner of his, but to no luck. Was it… was it the lover thing? Was this what they used to call ‘falling in love’? Wait, but she already fell in love and got a lover, otherwise this wouldn’t be a thing… but what was her thoughts about, then? Coda had her curious look on too, clicking her noises out in interest. However, his curiosity was sated by the fact that, yes, there were children sleeping here… this only made it more acceptable that she may have kids now. Should he congratulate?

“Oh, congratulations,” he responded merrily, “To be honest, I didn’t know that you had gotten that far in your relationship-“ His words were cut short by the arrival of a maid. With a nod, he greeted the maid gently: “G-Greetings.” He didn’t know how many maids that Ana had in her café, but it was time to eat. “Uhhh… I’d like some spicy lamb too. Also fresh chicken legs and ox thigh. And uh, just some water to quench it down.”

“… You’re having a company visiting soon?”

Arisa looked at the two and lastly the maid who then went back to work after he spoke of what he wanted. He wanted to eat a lot, but dinner was in about an hour or less now so why. She chuckled a little as he didn't hear her ask if he wanted to meet them, but something triggered her. Was it the fact that he ignored wanting to listen about her lovely babies or perhaps ignored her offer of meeting them. Her eyes glared bit her lower lip trying to stop herself from going at him with anger. She coughed softly with her mouth covered with a fist that she held tightly, but once the subject about her lover came up she softened a bit.

''Oh yes... The one I was sad about so many months ago - we got back together and strong as ever. It's very lovely now. Sadly.... he doesn't know about them.'' she spoke so sadly in the end as her head tilted towards the stairs that lead up to the pent house. Swiftly she looked back at Hyoen, ''Yes, I will be having some important company coming over. Mind you, it's not important like some lousy Counsel meeting, but I found some family and they'll be coming over.~ You're welcome to join.'' she questioned with a smile. 'Noel... Don't think he'd do well in a crowd. Although, he did do decently at Alice's wedding...' A thought popped up as she waited for him.

”Ahh… I understand now,” he revealed to her. So she had gotten some lovely babies, no doubt, and her lover knew nothing about them. That could be the reason why Daiko didn’t know about them until now, either. That only made him more and more curious about them; in fact, he had half a mind to check them now. “Can I… can I see them now? I know that they’re sleeping and all, but… I bet they look just as lovely as their mother,” he spoke back. She did offer him to see them, too, so it shouldn’t be any problem… he betted that he was a sweet child back in his old days, too.

It all passed him. Young years of tree-climbing, stick-swinging adventures out in the garden with his mother - watching her harvest, hunt, cook and prepare for him. Her two arms made all of it, the cottage, the garden, everything… she was an invaluable asset to Worth Woodsea and its ecosystem, keeping down the population of deer, aurochs and other large herbivores. And here he was, experiencing the coming of a new generation at the other side of the door. “Yeah… Noel isn’t exactly the social extrovert, is he?” Daiko commented, “But I bet he’d do his best for his love… which would likely make him appear with sweat drops everywhere.” After thinking it through for a second, the Fire Mage nodded. “I’ll join. But first, let me see those adorable faces~”

It had a Jacuzzi of its own, a California king sized bed and many things she felt too lazy to describe in her thoughts. Most importantly her children were sleeping in her bed all cuddled up. 'So sweet... Innocent...' she thought and then walked to them as they opened up their eyes and yawned cutely. ''Hehe.~ You two ready to eat?'' she spoke and all they did was smile. ''I can tell you're my children already.'' she spoke and booped both of their noses. Slowly she picked up Fiona and carried her with her right and then Kane with her left. Her arms were long enough to hold them closely to her body as she went down stairs. One - the female had darkened hair and ice blue eyes - no pupils and the male had golden eyes - no pupils with golden hair. Both of them had a full head of hair as it happens. ''Hyoen, this is Fiona.~'' she started and lifted her up a little with her right and sat her down in the chair-like seat with a thick bar so they couldn't escape. ''This little guy is Kane.~'' she chuckled as after they got into their designated seat, they giggled, slamming their hands against the plate area in front of them. They were hers and Noel's indeed... It made her smile and feel ... happy.
