Overall: Aret's a medium-sized fella who's got an aura of seriousness. He's got a strong and imposing build marked with rough appliances of blunt force training. In a way, he's a paper tiger because even children can have high strength without muscles. Aret's face is rough but kindly and open. Living in the sun has given him a soft glow to his skin. Even so, his skin looks to be well taken care of and has no deformities. Aret's hair is an untamed curly purple mass. Through luck the curls are perfectly soft and fabulous matching his guild identity. Matching his hair are soft dark eyes emanating kindness. He usually wears a common guild marked outfit that looks like a suit.

Personality


Personality: Aret can be considered a somewhat simple person that categorizes what he needs in regards to helping. No matter what, he prioritizes cooperation and achievement among his comrades as he also believes it'll help the most. Nonetheless, the mage has determined himself to be pretty introverted in regards to those that aren't his companions, as he takes his own actions to help comrades usually without consulting them.

While possessing the ability to take the initiative in quests, Aret always prefers to listen if he has the time or ability to do so. In a way, Aret is realistic about his potential and knowledge of the world, as he just tries to live a somewhat simple focused life. Aret can be found trying to save others that don't belong to Blue Pegasus if he deems it necessary and a productive use of his time, as he's a bit naive.

Aret can be best described as a go-getter. He'll try to initiate what he thinks will bring the most success in a quest. If his guildmates are doing something wrong, he doesn't shy to point it out. Aret doesn't believe a team should try to hide or passively accept things. He doesn't like his friends to give up on a quest.

His bottom line is ever-changing. Because he's not too combative, Aret doesn't mind being insulted to a certain degree. After he stops feigning passiveness, Aret doesn't mind falsely accusing his teammates of pushing him around. Even so, Aret values his relationships and doesn't like people stepping on them. The mage has a lot of confidence in himself in all facets. He'll push or take conflict without keeping it too in mind. There's a time and place for everything in Aret's worldview.  He'll easily criticize a meeting place for not suiting Blue Pegasus's style along with miscellaneous excuses.

Likes:

  • Charity: Aret loves charity. He feels when he gives to others he'll get kindness in return. Kindness makes the world go round to him.
  • Sleep: He doesn't like to do things in excess. Aret feels like resting is an important part of his life with all the superpowered weirdos around. Sleeping is an art for Aret.


Dislikes:

  • Graveyards: Graveyards are where the creepy dwell. Aret doesn't like suspect areas where his clothes get dirty. He doesn't like having to think about the history of the dead. Pets could be buried in graveyards and it makes him sad.
  • The ocean: The ocean has infinite potential and Aret has no way to understand it's reach. He doesn't like aquatic companions. Aret looking at the ocean makes him think of eating too much seafood.


Motivations:

  • Mapping: Aret would love to map out the entire continent. He wants to discover the undiscovered. Knowing where everything is will make him smarter. He feels like it would be the best adventure and achievement.
  • Schooling: He would love to open up the world of magic to others. Like-minded magicians becoming smart and creating cool things would be fun days. Aret thinks that magic has infinite potential and a school will help nurse that potential.


Fears:

  • Control Magic: Aret hates other magic that control individuals. This ranges from necromancy to those that hurts pets.
  • Companion Running: As a beastmaster Aret fears his companion leaving him the most. It would feel like a waste of time if he raised a nice pet and it ran away.

Magic Name: Arctic Christ Magic

Magic Description: Arctic Christ Magic is a simple frost magic. Aret's version focuses on buffing himself and helping out the battlefield with supplementary spells. It's said an elder user of the magic was called Santa Claus. Santa Claus made this a frost magic that controls the powers of winter or the arctic. Christmas energies come to life through this magic no matter the season. Learning the magic requires a calm mind and a love for Christmas which other people might not know exists.

History


History: Aret has always liked to observe things since he was young. Even in his later days, he's still able to recall fondly the majority of his life. When Aret was younger he was the bystander to a tumultuous environment but he prevailed to appreciate his youth. The parents of Aret weren't his blood-related ones, but they treated him as if he was their real son. He resided in a small closed-off family estate sand castle where his parents had a custodial position. Although his parents were respected as hard-workers, the owners of the estate had unruly children who would come to pick on Aret who resided in a little shack with his parents. Most of the days, Aret was left alone to tend to himself as his parents would sleep whenever they returned home.

Due to a lack of proper nutrition, Aret was exceptionally scrawny amongst his peers. People in the estate would beat Aret up as an easy target as they were aware he wasn't the true child of his parents and due to his frame. In the eyes of others, Aret was just leeching off the food of his kind parents and the estate owners. Over time, the young boy grew to understand however that others weren't at fault for his circumstances. He build up resilience to beatings and slowly grew to the age where he'd been able to help his parents with chores.

One day, Aret woke up to chaos at the estate. Rushing out of his family's shack, he saw chaos as fire consumed the main populated area of the land. Eyeing weeping people around and recognizing who was missing, Aret ran into the burning castle. Without hesitation, he looked for the children who bullied him before and those who looked down upon him. In a fit of adrenaline Aret kept running around the burning castle with a blackened face as he saved countless people. For some reason, he wouldn't be affected by the burning castle at the time.

Only later would Aret learn that his body far surpassed the bounds of normal people with magic. His extreme stamina would guide Aret to be able to achieve the feat of saving everyone throughout the castle as well. Admist cheers, Aret's family was allowed into the main estate area undergoing reconstruction. Until he was a teen, Aret's family lived extremely carefree.

Free of worries, one day Aret's parents brought him aside to teach him what they'd learned living in the rich estate. Through many years of honest work, the couple had been able to help Aret enter a magic academy as well. They'd secured an alliance of protection for their son by having him enroll with the kids of a long-established magic family. Over a day, Aret was briefed about his parent's perspective on what his future should be with their best wishes. Along the way, he was informed that he'd been stolen by the couple from his family of magicians. They told the young Aret they did it because they were poor and figured he'd be able to bring them prosperity. Taking the information in stride, Aret didn't blame his parents.

Looking back, he thought their action was foolhardy though, as Aret would show no real talent at the academy. Once he became an official mage, Aret began living on his own. He entered a guild and in his late 10's would achieve recognition for focusing on saving lives during his quests. In fact, Aret had found he didn't have much real talent elsewhere and saving people was the only reason he'd gain recognition. Even so, by using his position, Aret got more time to focus on training. He slowly built up his battle experiences by enduring battlefields without care and witnessing as many spells as possible.
