Fenrir held his head as he walked the streets of Magnolia in search of food and water. Since coming to the town he had found himself starving due to a lack of knowledge where any of the local eateries were. Whenever he asked for directions people sent him every which way and such tom foolery eventually led to him giving up and looking on his own. How hard could it have been to find a bite to eat in such a large place? Apparently, for the Saiyan it was a lot harder than it should have been.

"I'm gonna kill over if I don't find a bite to eat," he'd moan the words in childish manner, whining instead of taking initative and looking for something to eat, "There's gotta be something good to eat somewhere around here. Just a tiny nibble, I'll even take a rice shop."

His words fell to no one in particular, and as he walked he had begun to notice that the streets had began to become more and more colorful as he procced on. There were reefs, streamers, balloons, overall it looked like someone was having a party! And where there was a party, there was food! And where there was food there was even more food! "Yes!" Fenrir hurried down the street at full speed, his large frame running witha skip in his step and before he knew it in his haste he'd bump into someone tumbling over potentially if they went down with him.

"Ah!"

It hadn't been too long since she had come to Magnolia, a few days at most however, it seemed as though just as one job was finished, Asura was tasked with another one. However, unlike the old one, this one was more peaceful and relaxing, no fighting, no trying to save herself from getting killed, all the blonde had to do was decorate a town. Which was easier said than done.

Apparently, some lord named Medias decided he wanted to throw his daughter a birthday party which meant that the entire town was to be decorated and would be celebrating it. And to think it was only her seventh birthday. Regardless, it wasn't something that was too difficult to handle. Plus, she'd be getting free food and games to play as well as, being payed so all in all, worth it.

Which is exactly why Asura decided to dress casual and donned on some skinny jeans along with a black sweatshirt. Her hair was tied into a loose ponytail with strands framing her face and she wore her rounded glasses, as well. She wondered where she should start from and saw a man in the distance who seemed to explaining and telling people what to do. Her best bet would be go to him and ask for some work. However, as she was walking towards, too fixated in that man's direction, she forgot to look at where she was going and bumped into someone. The blonde promptly fell, due to the unexpected bump and it seemed as though the other person did too. Asura quickly looked in their direction, a little pissed off to be honest until she recognized who it was. "Fenrir?"

Fenrir's growling belly and aching head had only worstened on contact with the stranger. His clumsiness had caused him to tumble over along with his victim. With a low grown he opened one of his eyes to peek at who he had bumped into and much to his surprise it was Asu! "Asu!" he beamed her name with a wide grin, it had felt like it had been ages since he had last seen her, just the sight of her made his heart jump with joy!

His excitement would soon be curbed by curiosity, "Asu, did you... Do something different." a finger made a circle in the air as he gestured to her glasses, "You look different I mean, uh, the things on your face." he pointed to his own eyes as he tried to convey what he was talking about, "Oh and your hair! Your hair is different too!" his once concealed excitement had returned as he looked her over, "I'm sorry did I hurt you?" he looked her over and stood up immediately. dusting off his pants he'd extend a hand to her with his usual goofy grin on his face. She looked the same! But the glass on her face really threw him off.

It seemed as though Fenrir was all too happy to have met her. It did come as a surprise that she bumped into him out of everyone else. This would be the third time they would be meeting and none of it was planned. Regardless, when he remarked on her different appearance, she scrunched her eyebrows lightly at his gestures to her eyes and then back to his again. "Huh?" Asura asked, quite confused honestly, until her eyes widened lightly in realization. "Oh, you mean, my glasses?" If Fenrir had forgotten what glasses were, she could understand but if he didn't know what they were, then that would be an entirely different case.

At the remark on her hair, she nodded and wanted to snicker at the confusion on his face. She accepted his hand to get up as he asked her if she was okay and nodded at the man. "Yes, I'm fine. What about you?" She hoped he wasn't too hurt from the fall either considering that he did boisterously walk into her. Now that she thought about it, she had last seen him in Crocus and now here, in Magnolia which caused her to wonder why the other was here. "So," she asked as she looked at him, "what brings you here to Magnolia?"

Fenrir's happiness was all too apparent as the woman retorted to him with a question of her own, what brought him to Magnolia? Of course, he made a mental note of what she called the thing on her face, "glasses" they were called. How interesting! She was interesting! Still interesting, though her expression was still the same from the last time he met her or that was until she snickered aloud.

The snickering caught him off guard as he knew her to be the serious sort, yet it made him even happier to have bumped into her because her smile at least in his opinion was special! She was what Alisa called "beautiful" to Fenrir thus it was only natural he'd want to see her smile more! Every time she did so little as chuckle he felt himself warm up. She was his friend after all! Maybe that was why he was glad to be near her. His excitement would have to take a backseat to her question as he contemplated the reason why he came all this way in the first place.

"Oh, uh, I came here because I heard there was a lot of work and Crocus was getting kinda boring if I'm being honest ha ha..." he raised a hand to his mouth, "Is that mean? And what brings you to Mag- Magno- Magalia? Magnolia?" he was having trouble saying the name...

Asura nodded at his explanation of why he was in Magnolia, slightly skeptical of it. She wondered why he would come all the way here just because Crocus was boring. But knowing him, from the little that she did, Fenrir seemed the type to be rather spontaneous. At his trouble in pronouncing Magnolia, the blonde let a little fond sigh leave her lips as her lips crinkled up in disbelief. "Magnolia." She said, trying to get him to say it properly. She'd have to ask him eventually why he didn't know what glasses were and about Magnolia as well.

She smiled lightly at him and answered the question that he intended to ask, "I'm here for a job? I think. You see all these decorations? Well, some Lord is throwing a huge birthday party for his daughter and so the entire town is supposed to be celebrating. I'm here to help out with that." She said, pointing at the mass amounts of decorations that encased the entire area. She looked back at the man whom she was going to go ask for work from and looked at Fenrir. "If you're bored," she said, raising a light eyebrow, "do you want to come help me out? You'll get paid for this. The Lord's pockets are feeling very generous this time around." She hoped that Fenrir would catch onto her joke and was, slightly glad that he was there and that she wouldn't have to be alone, this time around.

"Mag-nol-ia" he retorted like a child repeating a new word, "Magnolia." he finally managed it after just four tries! That could have been some sort of record. It wasn't his fault that all of these places had long, hard names, or for that matter it wasn't his fault his former master didn't take the time to teach him how to properly say places like mag- magnol- magnolia! He was a simple man with a simple purpose, book learning wasn't his forte after all. Not to say that he didn't want to pronounce all of these fancy words and what not.

When she spoke about the party his ears immediately perked up as a smile cracked his lips and her joke made him chuckle just as he caught it not long after. "Ooo, do you think there will be food? Maybe we can eat together after we do whatever he needs!" Fenrir had a one track mind, "Oh yes, yes, I want to help I mean! It'll be tons of fun and we can catch up~ It feels like we haven't spoken in a long time and i missed you!" he placed a hand on her shoulder and once again, shot his ridiculous smile at her. "I think I love you nee-san, thank you."

At Fenrir's question of whether there will be food available, the blonde couldn't help but lightly shake her head. "Of course, there will be food, it's a party, Fenrir. And I was actually going to do the same; eat after helping out with whatever they need help with." She started walking towards the man who seemed to be in charge of all this and hoped that Fenrir would follow her. When he exclaimed that they could catch up since they hadn't met in a while, Asura nodded, thinking to herself that indeed, it had been a while since they last met; almost a month? Though why Fenrir missed her of all people was beyond Asura's understanding but she decided to keep that question for later. At his declaration of love though, she turned around and gave him an exasperated look with a shake of her head muttering, "What am I going to do with you?" after which she looked in his direction again and said, "And don't call me nee-san. I'm pretty sure I'm younger than you."

When they would near the other man, Asura would introduce herself and Fenrir and would ask for some work to be assigned to the duo. The man would nod his head, grateful for the help before handing the two about ten packets of balloons. "Well, it it's alright with you," he said as he smiled at the two, "could you blow these for me and hang two of them on either side of the light poles on this street?" He'd thank them and move along to make sure everything else was fine as the blonde looked at her companion and said, "Well, looks like we got our first task."

It seemed the trickster Saiyan had gotten a decent reaction out of the normally calm woman, while it wasn't one of reddening it was still worth mentioning all the same, in fact, he'd likely keep a note of it to compare to later reactions. She had so many interests tells and reactions to the things he said, it was always something new with her and that likely could have been why he missed her so much. Who knew.

The two would progress to the man in charge of this little affair, their instruction was a strange one, to blow balloons for the party. Peculiar, but simple and something so simple could be made fun with a few magic words, "I bet I can blow more than you Asura" he side-eyed her and took a handful out of one of the pockets, "No time for talk! go!" with that he began blowing the small rubber party favors like a madman already having two done in matter of seconds, and under the impression the woman had agreed he went even faster to try and beat her. His vision had been filled with nothing but color and the desire to win before he would peek over at her.

Fenrir's habits of turning everything into a competition seemed to carry on in this case too. At his declaration of blowing more balloons than ever, the blonde opened her mouth a bit in protest and as he started blowing them without her having said anything, she lightly glared at him before proceeding to blow them too.

Or at least, tried to.

For some reason, the balloons weren't blowing even though Asura was blowing into them. They'd blow a bit and then all the air would come back out again because the blonde couldn't blow anymore. The same happened when she tried again and she removed the balloon to look at it before looking at how enthusiastically Fenrir was blowing his. Looking at him, she decided to imitate his style, surely it would work, after all, it was just blowing balloons. But, Asura thought wrong. Five tries in and she felt all the life drain from her as she realized that she didn't know how to blow balloons. Well, this was awkward. While it was true that she had never tried to blow them ever, she didn't think that it would be this....difficult or infuriating.

As Fenrir looked in her direction after blowing countless ones, Asura looked back at him with not having blown a single one as she made a declaration, clear and simple: "I don't know how to blow balloons."

Whilst he had at least eight balloons up already she hadn't even begun on her first... Was she struggling? Surely something so simple could stop her? She was a force of nature after all, though if she was stopped... He could always teach her how. He listened as she made her declaration and dropped the balloon he was blowing, "Oh..." he bent over to pick up the balloon he dropped and held it up. "Then I'll teach you~" he nodded in agreement, "It's kinda easy, you ever kiss someone?" he began with an odd question but it'd make sense when she heard it through.

"It's just like giving a little kiss, you pucker your lips like this." he pointed to his lips now pursed into an 'o' as he showed the female what he meant, "Then you lean into it like your meeting their lips, he put the end of the balloon up to his mouth, "Then you blow." he pushed a quick blow into the balloon, the pink rubber expanding quickly.

"We'll call this one a tie if you want~ Until you learn how to blow properly, remember it's just like a kiss~ Muah." he smiled at her and tied the balloon up around the end. "The person who taught me told me it's good to imagine someone you wanna kiss while you're doing it. I don't have anyone honestly but the kissing could help you."

Asura raised a light eyebrow at Fenrir's claim of him teaching her how to blow a balloon as she then nodded. After all, how hard could it possibly be? But when he mentioned about the fact that she needed to think about kissing someone, the blonde merely let her mouth fall a bit in shock. Kiss someone? She scrunched up her face in thought wondering how she would possibly think about kissing someone when she's never done it in the first place. The thought had never crossed her mind or appealed to her that much, before. She wondered if she was just weird.

So, when Fenrir started showing how to do it, Asura picked up her own balloon and attempted to follow his directions. In between, she looked at him and said, "Well, I don't see how this could help that much considering I've never kissed anyone, either. But I can follow your directions and give it a try." She said and continued doing what he had instructed. It took a while however, after about five to six tries, she could blow a decent balloon and it took her a few more to get it to tie properly without all the air going out of it.

When she finally succeeded in blowing her first balloon and tying it properly, a look of pride swelled on her face as she waved the balloon in front of Fenrir. "Look! I blew one!" Even though it was a small accomplishment, Asura had the look of an excited child in her eyes.

With glee he watched her make an attempt, to his surprise she had never kissed a person before. In truth, he hadn't done so either, or at least he doesn't remember doing so. With a smile, he'd watch at her first few failed attempts before watching as she finally puckered up and blew it open as she pridefully, for a moment, began to remind him of himself. She had gotten giddy and ecstatic at her accomplishment and he was just as excited for her! Clapping his hands with pride he'd place a hand on her shoulder, "Did ya think of kissing?" he tilted his head, "I mean you looked like a pro when you finally got it done~ Now you just gotta tie." he showed her how and winked.

There was a light tease in his voice, but he wouldn't push her too far this time given she was probably still on the high of blowing up her first balloon. Picking one up he bought into his desire to tease his friend once again and made a kissy face at her for a few seconds, as he brought the balloon back up to his lips. With a deep breath, he'd expand it and tie it down.

Asura just shook her head at Fenrir's antics of making kissy faces at her and went back to trying to blowing the rest of the balloons. She had gotten a few more done and noticed that Fenrir had gotten a lot more done than her making the blonde wonder how many balloons did they exactly need to blow. She scanned the street and tried counting the number of street lights there were and could only count to about ten before she couldn't see any further. Asura decided that instead of spending all their time blowing the balloons, she should start putting them too just to make sure they don't blow more than they actually need.

So after blowing a few more, she stood up and said, "We should start putting the balloons on the streetlights. I think a few more and we have enough, I'm not too sure though. We'll probably know once we start putting them up. I'll get the ladder." She went to the previous man and asked him for a ladder to put the balloons and came back to Fenrir, with the ladder with her. She put it next to a streetlight and started climbing up as she looked down at the other man and said, "Alright, you keep giving me the balloons. I'll tie them up with this string." She showed him the abundance of strings the event manager had given her, wiggling it lightly around.

Fenrir caught his breath and sighed as he watched her grab the ladder from the gent and get back to work, he wanted to take a little time to talk more but hse was adamant at getting this work done. She was a hard worker, good work ethic and all. What a shame she was so reluctant to return kissy faces, all he wanted to do was help her lighten up some! Really get into the swing of things! Help her get loose! When she wiggled the string he'd pretend to paw at it like a cat with his tongue protruding from his lips before finally handing her the first baloon. He'd pick up quite a few and step on the first reign of the other side of the ladder.

"Alrighty, first one up," he'd wait for her to asks for another before pausing for a moment, he looked up at her and studied her features for a bit longer than he should have. She looked so... Soft. Not in a bad way, but she seemed flawless in appearence. Maybe the light agreed with her but the gaze made him look at her for a moment without saying a word.

Asura went about her way tying the first balloon that she got from Fenrir and held her hand out to get another one. Until, it occurred to her that another wasn't coming. Curiously, she looked down at the other man and saw him just staring up at her, almost in a daze. "Uh," Asura muttered as she cleared her throat, hoping to get him out of his trance or whatever he was in. "Next balloon?" She would a little meekly as for some reason, the blonde could feel her cheeks heating up a bit.

After he would stop staring at her and get back to work, Asura would resume as well until they were successfully done with everything. She would dismount the ladder and someone would take it away. It seemed as though the party was about to begin in a while. The blonde looked at Fenrir and said, "Well, I was told that after we were done, we could go collect our pay from Medias. How about we finish that up and then we can enjoy ourselves here? I'm really hungry at this point." If he agreed, she would smile lightly at him and proceed to go to Medias, where he would greet them kindly and give the both of them their payment for their hard work.

After they would receive that, Asura would look at Fenrir and for some reason, she would beam at him, brightly, asking if there was anything in particular he wanted to do or some place he wanted to go. She didn't know why but for some reason, being here today and doing this with him of all people had made her extremely happy...and content? She wasn't too sure however, she knew she liked spending time with him and didn't want to stop anytime soon. After all, she doubted there was anyone else like him in the entirety of Fiore anyways.

The very fact that she looked back at him with warmth, or at least what he perceived to be warmth made his cheeks grow hot. For the first time in his life he had been crimson red, he looked down at the balloons to hide his flusteredness as he handed her another ballon. He'd keep up this trend for a moment hesitate to show her his face except for the occasional odd glance and smile. She was so.. beautiful. Gods, he should have been better at this sort of thing yet he felt as if his heart was going to pop out of his chest at any moment when she did so much as talk to him now. For now, at the very least he could offer to help her more despite his crimson appearance.

Before he knew it they were done with their tasks, the man paying them both through every now and again he'd stare at her out of the corner of his eye. How could she be so... Different, so beautiful, he shouldn't have thought such a thing about someone he was friends with, yet... It felt natural to want to look at her like this, without any worry or fear. She made him feel safe? Was that the word? Yes, she made him feel safe. "Yeah, let's get something to eat... But instead, do you mind if we go somewhere private? I found a place on my way to the city that'll be nifty for eating and stuff... If you want to I mean."
