Rushed footsteps clashed against the stone pavement leading toward the Crocus Garden while a young woman was seemingly heading into that direction, and judging from the focused hawk-like gaze upon her features she clearly had some sort of goal or objective in mind. Holding what appeared to be an ancient parchment in her hand Seta Kaiba was a woman with a mission: Confirm whether the rumors were true: That an ancient treasure was supposed to be concealed within a sanctuary beneath the Crocus Garden. Why did she know this? Because she had found that the Kaiba household's library concealed a book about a special type of magic that was supposed to make fictional matters become reality, at least to a certain degree.

Of course, fascinated by this magic Seta further investigated the matter, sneaking into her adoptive father's office to discover a map that led to the location of this supposed treasure. And here she was, at a secluded area within the Crocus Gardens, the area concealed by the lush scenery of bushes and trees, and a hidden switch near one of the aforementioned trees had led to a wall to slide open and reveal a staircase leading into a dimly lit corridor. This was it... she was so close to confirming if the legend was true, but in that moment... in that fleeting moment of excitement Seta heard footsteps come from behind her.

Did someone spot her?! Turning around the brunette realized that she might indeed have been discovered by someone, a certain girl whose curiosity often knew no boundaries...

With the War having reached its conclusion Esperia felt the need to catch some fresh air, especially during the time Fia was at the medical bay and the doctors forbid her from being at her side. It was during that moment that the young Eisenberg had decided to go for a rather curious idea: To visit the Crocus Gardens. It was a natural choice to make all things considered. Not only was it a beautiful scenery within Crocus, but it also was rather peaceful and serene, one of the few places untouched by the war.

She had just arrived within the garden when something curious caught her attention: A young woman with long brown hair was marching along the road, and yet she disappeared behind several bushes, but before she disappeared Esperia spotted something interesting: a parchment was in the woman's hand, and her vivid imagination was already predicting that it must have been a treasure hunter! Treasure! Within Crocus! Of course, she had to investigate, so trying her best to keep up with the treasure hunter Esperia rushed toward the nearby bushes, arriving just in time to see the stranger pull a switch that triggered a hidden doorway! Did her imagination just turn into reality? "You're hunting a treasure, aren't you?!"

Esperia exclaimed in excitement.

The arrival of the obsidian-haired girl made Seta's eyes narrow for a moment as she spoke in a cold and almost aggressive tone. "Lower your voice idiot, do you want everyone to find out?" Seta sighed in annoyance, turning her back to the girl as she continued.

"Either way, if you want to confirm for yourself what I'm doing then shut your trap and follow me." Seta was quick in her stride, marching down into the corridor till she finally arrived at the end of the way, spotting something rather curious: A sarcophagus was resting in a spacious room, a sarcophagus of pure gold, but what drawn her interest was the fact there was a golden rod resting on the case of the sarcophagus, and almost as if she was in a trance Seta's hand reached for the object, a sudden tug making it rest in her grip, and then...

A sudden headache overcame her, vivid images flashing through her mind, yet she couldn't grasp their contents at all, and just as suddenly as they had come, the images had disappeared. A grin crept upon her lips, seemingly aware of something as she rested a hand upon the case that was resting in a holster on her hip, a hum of approval following. "Seems I got what I came for~"

The brunette briefly caught a glimpse of her unwanted guest before marching out of the room, seemingly considering her business done.

Esperia's initial reaction to the rude tone of this woman was one of displeasure. Certainly, she might had been pretty but that was no reason to have such a inpolite nature toward others! Nonetheless, she wasn't going to skip the invitation to figure out what this stranger was up to. If there was indeed a treasure hidden in there, then she wanted to find out what it was! Wandering down the corridor behind the lady Esperia peeked at her side into the room, watching with interest as the brunette approached the sacrophagus and after a moment seemingly withdrawn a golden rod from it. However, when she commented having obtained what she had come here for Esperia tilted her head slightly to the side in confusion.

"Just that old dusty thing?" The girl mused softly, yet after peeking inside the sacrophagus and noticing the remaining relics were missing the girl quickly darted after the young woman, seemingly in a hurry to try to catch up to her. However, it was when she finally found the brunette outside that she noticed something interesting:

The woman had drawn some sort of card from the case in her holster and all of a sudden a minotaur appeared before the brunette. It appeared.... she had obtained a very interesting magic from the treasure! Perhaps it would be something worthwhile to pursue another day~

[EXIT]
